I will say, I didn’t use their services but from 1 simple phone call I was able to diagnose what was wrong with my car myself and fix it myself because they were so transparent on the steps I needed to take. I always appreciate straight forward mechanics when so many are trying to extract money out of working people.

I have only been to this place one time, I waited a month after my repair to give them a review. I own a lancer ralliart which has an electronically controlled drive by wire 6 speed. The dealerships were going to charge me 2 hours of diagnostics because of the transmission it was, even though I have had my car to their shop multiple times for service. I knew that it was just the plastic shift assembly which is pretty complex to replace but does not mean anything is wrong with the transmission. The dealership would not look at my car for up to a week and a half and estimated at minimum 500 dollars just for time and diagnostics. not including the part costs. These guys were able to get it done in a matter of days, were very upfront about having to potentially involve the dealership for programming if they had to do any binding of the shift assembly to the ECU and TCU. The total repair labor and parts was 240 $$$ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They did a flawless job putting everything back together even though the repair required taking a 1/3d of my dash and console off. I have not had a single issue in the time having my car back. When I paid for the repair they nearly refused my tip which even with the tip was far under what the dealership would have cost. I ended up putting it on the counter and walking out. Thank you again for making what could have been a very annoying dealership experience a very pleasant first experience with your company.

Chen and Danny are awesome! Replaced both tire rods and steering rack and pinion assembly in just one day. The work was impeccable. (Another mechanic shop in south SLC, quoted me an extra 1100$ for the same exact work) Chen was honest and upfront about the pricing - parts and labor. This is now my go to shop. Highly recommend this place.

Spectacular!!! Danny and Chen really know what they are doing. They charge completely fair prices and have extremely reliable work. I have taken all my personal vehicles to them for 6 years now - never once had a problem. My whole family goes to them as well. Also i have a non-profit where once a year we gift a teenager aging out of foster care with a used car and I have taken all of those cars to them before gifting. I recommend them to everyone - just not anyone who has a diesel engine as they are not diesel certified.

It is hard to find honest mechanics and these guys are great! The alternator went on my car and I got not one, but TWO quotes to repair this from local auto shops in SLC over $700 for the part plus labor. 168 Auto quoted me $480 for the exact same job and the same part (I checked). They actually broke it down for me so I knew how much the authentic part cost (about $300) plus labor. I also got a quote on front brakes from another shop for $600 (which I knew was a rip off as my dad has shown me how to change front brakes and rotors before and its a quick job) and I paid $400 through them. Either way, I felt they were honest and transparent about pricing. Car is running great now and I am glad that I found this shop!

During a cross-country drive, my car was damaged by a piece of metal on the road right outside of SLC. I stopped here and asked them to evaluate the car for safety concerns before I continued the drive. I also asked for an oil change. They fit me in very promptly, and they charged me only for the oil change, not the safety check. Highly recommend.
