Very nice people. I had a problem finding a oil temp sensor which was throwing a code. I got stumped. Lol. But took it in for a diagnostic and they found the sensor and switched it out. But it wasn't the problem. It end up being the wiring to the sensor. Which I checked after the check light came back on and fixed it my self. So in all the wasnt all a waste of taking it there. He pinned pointed the sensor for me, just failed to check the connector for fray wires. Good mechanic and very knowledgeable. He meant well just every one drops the ball once a while.

Had dash warning lights flashing. Was referred to Adam... Adam was so very nice and determined. Didnt fix it on first visit of 3 days and $523.85. Drove it 40 miles and 2 days later it did it again. Took it back... talked to Adam and asked how much this time. Adam specificallt quoted $320.00 and l confirmed asking a second time and Adam said $320.00. After a week was told my vehicle was ready. Karen, office clerk advised me l owed $580.00. I responded oh no Adam told me $320.00. Karen was not so nice of a person when l questioned the cost. Karen announced as she was getting up well l will go get Adam and you can deal with.him with quite a nasty tone. Adam and l had a nice professional conversation in front of Karen and under her breath she said """l dont want to hear that from her again""" I asked Adam to step outside thanking him and advising him that Karen is quite rude. He responsed there have been complaints about her. My 2nd visit total was $361.50.... I think Karen needs an attitude adjustment.... Im praying after 10 days at the shop and almost $1000.00 my vehicle us repaired. I contacted owner advising got an im sorry and was advised his work was warrantied but no offer of warranty whn l had to take it back after 40 miles. I was advised on the first visit l needed a stronger battery and again asked for battery warranty and no response from owner about it.

Adam is a great mechanic. He saved me at least half of what other mechanics had quoted me. He also took car of other problems that he had found. My 1969 Chevelle runs better than it ever has. The Muncie M-22 Rock Crusher 4-speed that he installed, so easily, runs great! I will use him for all of my car repairs.

Drove a long way to purchase an old sports car and found this place to do an inspection. Great $85 spent. Got the impression Adam absolutely knew what he was talking about. Told me the car wasnt going to pass smog and he wouldnt charge me to check it. Long list of current and potential problems. Seller made it seem like it was a weekend car, not his project drag car. Oh well. Thanks Adam.

They gave me estimates of Two oxygen sensor replacement for $1135. Totally ripped off. Even though I wanted to do it but they said go somewhere else because I disagreed at the first time. Poor customer service. They charged me $89 for diagnostic test and did not give the diagnostic report. Just Avoid this place.

Over the course of like 4 months, I had taken my Chevy equinox to multiple auto shops, including a Chevy dealership mechanic. No one was able to figure out what was wrong with it. A-1 Automotive was the last shop I brought it to, and within just a few hours, Adam had it figured out and fixed! It has been running smooth since. Would highly recommend this business! They know what they are doing!

Let me put it this way, if they can't figure it out you're going to be in for trouble. They always look out for you and try to get you the best prices on parts that are needed. No run around, straight forward and honest. Shop techs are wizards, reception is very friendly. They can fix it, smog, and generalge get it done. They figured out my wife's AC when the techs at the dealership couldn't. They've helped me out immensely on more then 1 occasion when I couldn't resolve the problem. There's a reason why they are rated so high, because they are good.

I took my car in for new brakes, pads, and rotors all the way around. Adam called me and asked why I thought I needed new brakes? I was told that I should change my brakes when I got an oil change at another shop. My brakes were 70 percent good. So he rotated the tires, and I was very happy. Another place probably would have just changed them. Tanner, Karen, and Adam, the mechanic who called me, were very friendly and professional. I recommend this place very highly.

I got a smog check here and they were fast and reasonably priced. i did call ahead, but i probably didn't need to. even with only one person ahead of me i probably didn't need to get a ride back to work, because i didn't even finish my lunch hour before my car was done. They also offered to explain anything on the bill i didn't get. I will be going here in the future.
