Don’t hire for pre purchase inspection. I hired him because I am 3 states away and was buying the vehicle without seeing it myself. He charged $150 and did not even send a report or pictures. Also he was very nonchalant when I brought this up. He told me he is a “mechanic not an interior designer”. Really?!!!? He did not even know cosmetics are part of a PPI. Save your time and money and hire someone else.

Unnatural Selection

I had a terrible experience with this mobile mechanic. Called around 9am to have someone come and diagnose my vehicle. Guy I spoke to said he had an appointment at 11 but would come afterward. They did finally show up around 6pm. I understand businesses have busy days. Two guys came out, told me to try to start the car and then went under the hood. Tried to manually turn the crankshaft on my car, said the engine was seized, and it was done for. I paid him and went home with the bad news. The following day we got the car home. Out of curiosity we cleaned up the battery terminals, checked some fuses and the relays, and then tried to start the car. Lo and behold, everything was cranking. I sent a video of the car, letting them know they obviously misdiagnosed my car. I had already called another mechanic at that point. I received no receipt for my payment for “diagnosis” either. He finally replies to my video with an unprofessional and snarky “My guy got it wrong. I don’t need the money that bad” and asked for my CashApp to give me a refund. I sent it. No refund. Sent him another text. No refund. At some point he decides to respond “Monday” about my refund. Monday rolls around, no refund. No refund Tuesday. No refund in general. Apparently, he did need the money that bad. Cool, bro. Keep the money. I didn’t ask for a refund. I let you know that you’re out there charging people for a car diagnosis, and after a long day, you couldn’t care less if the diagnosis is accurate or not. Do not recommend.
