I applied here a couple of months ago & the amount I paid for the instructors not to teach me anything was ridiculous. The “teachers” don’t care about their students at all . I had my hopes up becoming a hairstylist & this place seriously took that away from me .

I will give a really detailed review about this school. You paid about $800 for the school and do not have to show up, they will make sure you have enough 600 hours. Then they will register for the writing and practical exams for you. Of course you have to pay the fees. I highly recommend you to register by yourself on psi website. It will be cheaper. The school will think about everything they can to take your money. So be aware. If you can do anything on your own, do it so you don't lose your money. You have to pay $50 to BORROW the box which includes all the nail supplies on the day you take the practical exam. This is the stupid part. You have to make sure that you have a high school diploma in order to get the Nail Technician License, but that DOES NOT MEAN you have to physically have the diploma. There will be a question in the application (which will be sent to your address after you pass the practical exam) asking if you have graduated from high school or had a diploma or something like that. Choose YES if you really have one. Again, no need to show it. However, the stupid school will charge you $150 to make a FAKE one if you don't physically have the diploma. How greedy and stupid !!!!!!! This is no different than stealing! And it is against the law doing fake documents!!!!!

I am a student at this school and I enjoy being here learning new things. I learn something new everyday. The teachers are very helpful and this is a good technical hands on school. Teachers/ Instructors are very patient with the students and if you can't get it right they will keep telling you how to do it with no complaints I feel very welcomed and comfortable, I am glad I enrolled here to go further in my career. The other review Angel Tran wrote has false information and does not relate to this place. Being a student here, I see that none of what she wrote is true this school is accredited and has all the necessary licenses to operate in this county. They have been open for 15 years now and have had many graduates. Thank you A Plus Beauty School!

I’ll give them 0 if possible. I’m expecting to do test afternoon and they charged $100 for each exam kits they prepared for me. I was told by them that everything was perfectly packed and should be good to go. I was not expecting their kits were long time used and the glue were old and damaged during my test! Q-tip was missing and the files are dirty.
They charge every single dollar for nothing and expecting to get more out from you so if you want to WASTE YOUT MONEY AND TIME, I would highly recommended this beauty school

I called this morning to get information about pricing Jenny I believe was her name was really informative and she did her best with my ruined hair I did myself she advise what I should do next then I went in showed me colors to allow my hair to heal and the student then began my hair the transformation is beyond fabulous from what I walk in with soo thankful for her being there at my time of need with hair problems definitely recommend it to anyone they are a school but really professional

wish i could’ve learned more than i did, there’s some teachers that teach you well however as a school overall your knowledge isn’t their priority. the amount of money paid for the programs is absurd to still have to buy every single item needed to practice at this school. issues with students not learning a thing at this school is crazy and was not what we were promised when initially enrolled here. hope the school as a whole fixes and improves their morals and values to ensure their students are learning and secure with the career path we spend our hard earned money on, it shouldn’t be school vs students and unfortunately that is how it feels being in this school.

I’d highly recommend this school to anyone who’s looking for education & obtaining license in the beauty services industry. The staffs are nice as well as the principal. They worked with me step by step from beginning until I passed all the exams & in processing of receiving my license. Very reliable on responding your questions & concerns in short time.
