I would not recommend this car care insurance to anyone, they have time & time again been unreliable always having an excuse about why something is done incorrectly and misinformed about policies. When I got into an accident it took them 3 1/2 hours to get to me to tow even though their estimated time was 45 mins to an hour & then brought the wrong tow & left me again for another 3 hours until the police ended up coming & helping me instead… I had to pay out of pocket because they didn’t show back up in time as traffic in the area where I was located started picking back up & it was very unsafe. My whole experience in the one month that I’ve been with them has been horrible

Had my first visit to a AAA center and was blown away! We came for International Driving Permits so I can’t comment on all services, but everyone we interacted with was super friendly and professional! We were greeted at the door, directed to the right counter for our needs, and helped swiftly by Asia. The facility is immaculate and the staff’s performance has actually made me look at AAA in a whole new way!

Please stay away from these people. You will probably do better buying a book on car repair and attempting to fix it yourself. A year ago my daughter took her car to AAA in Brandywine because she felt the car didn't sound right and was running differently. They charged us over $1,200 to fix her car. The next day she was coming home from school and the car over heated: the engine light came on, and the temperature warning alerted. We took the car back and AAA Brandywine informed my daughter that the overheating occurred because they didn't replace some sort of seal. They inform us that it would be another $1,200 to replace the seal. Fast forward to 12/27/2023 and my daughter takes the car back to AAA in Brandywine because the AC is not working. They charged us $200.00 for a diagnostic. Then inform us that the AC condenser and compressor both needed to be replaced. The AAA tech then sent us an estimate via email stating the repairs would be $1,900. Then the technician called my daughter and informed her that the cost would be $2,300.00 for the repairs, not the $1,900 in the emailed estimate. My daughter asked why there was a $400.00 difference in the emailed estimate and the verbal estimate. The AAA tech stated it was taxes. Maryland taxes are 6% not sure why AAA is allowed to charge excessively more state taxes then what is allowed by Maryland law. The AAA tech then asked her had she been in a accident. She stated she had. So the tech stated that the "accident" is what destroyed the condenser and the compressor. The tech didn't realize that what my daughter considered an "accident" was a piece of tire tread hitting her roof and her window of her car. The insurance company can confirm this. My daughter inform the Brandywine AAA tech to stand down and don't fix anything, she would come and get the car. She goes to pick the car up. And they hand her the service invoice and the declined services state the cost for the declined services was $1,700 dollars not the $1,900 in the emailed estimate or the $2,300 in the verbal estimate. I later Googled the cost for the service and the parts specifically for my daughter's car only to find that AAA seems to have 100% markup on parts. I know that you are about to say Google is not reliable but please hold you thoughts for a moment. I took the car to my sister's mechanic who is certified and owns his auto repair garage. He is very respected in her community. The diagnostic was $145.00. Yes, the compressor and condenser did need replacing. My sister's mechanic stated that the compressor and condenser had been destroyed because at some point the car had excessively overheated. I feel the excessive overheating was caused by AAA last year when the failed to correctly and completely fix the car. My sister's mechanic fixed the car for $1,200.00 which was $800.00 to $1,300.00 dollars cheaper then AAA based on which of the three AAA estimates you go with. My sister's mechanics cost were inline with Google and more traditional markup on parts (not what seemed to be the 100 percent markup by charged by AAA). Please take your car somewhere reputable and reliable. Please note I feel that the overheating was the result of the incomplete repair work they did last year which costed over $2,400.00. As such they want another $2,400.00 to fix what they broke. Buyer please beware "overpriced and incompetent. If these people are charging you anything over $200.00 please do your research and get a second estimate. I honestly wouldn't let them near a car but if you have no other choice don't take their word for anything money related or repair related. Consider yourselves warned. Update 2/23/2024. We ended up having to buy a whole new car. In my opinion the work performed by these people destroyed my daughter's car. The car was 7 years old and had less then 66k in mileage. She worked so hard to pay that car off and she loved "Carl the Car."

Loved that they do a thorough overview of looking for issues with vehicle within a day and provides an estimate. They are less than a dealer and provides great customer care. Wish they would have provided more of a deal for AAA Members. Also, didn't inform me that if have a Costco Membership is 15% discount while AAA is 10% discount. Seem backwards, but now I know.

I'm disgusted with this establishment. I brought my car in to be inspected they failed me for a license plate bulb and then told me that if I didn't allow them to change it I would have to pay for another inspection. Which then cost me an additional 40 to 50 bucks. I brought my second vehicle up there for an oil change and for them to check my tie rods and upper and lower control arms. They told me there was nothing wrong and then proceeded to change the oil. Well, I drove the car the next day for a hour and 15 minutes to only see my indication light on the dashboard tell me that I only have 30% of oil. How is that possible, I just had an oil change the day before. Then to add insult to injury they charged me full price and no membership discount whatsoever. Not only that there's no parking for the customer in back of the building because it looks like a junkyard. I don't know why I should cancel my membership or just drive 30 minutes out my way to a different location.

CONSUMER BEWARE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR AUTO TO THIS FACILITY! 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! I brought my car into this location to fix a possible coolant leak (my auto was overheating). This was my first experience and they came highly recommended to me. AAA Brandywine advised me that they believed the cause of the coolant leak was due to my bypass hose which in turn will fix the overheating issue. They asked If I could leave the vehicle with them. I received a call from AAA Brandywine days later confirming that it was indeed the bypass hose and they told me I needed a new battery. After I authorized the work, Donnell emailed me the auto inspection for my vehicle, (which was performed when I initially dropped off the vehicle) and the auto inspection stated that my battery health was ok. Needless to say, they had me buy a battery I didn't need. They called me days later to pick up the auto after all the work was completed. Upon driving home (within less than 15 minute into my commute) my auto started overheat. I called AAA Brandywine back and advised them that auto was running hot still. I took the auto back to them so they can take another look. A couple of days later, they called me insisting that they couldn't get my auto to overheat. I picked up the vehicle again and upon driving home it started to overheat AGAIN. I took my auto back to AAA Brandywine a total of 3 times to rectify the issue however, they kept insisting that they couldn't get my auto to overheat. On the final attempt to allow AAA Brandy to rectify the issue with my auto and the repairs that they completed, I picked up my vehicle and the shop manager Tony came outside, while I was sitting in my car to argue with me about how they couldn't make the auto overheat and they've done all that they could do. On the way home, I recorded my temperature gauge showing that it was overheating after my attempts to rectify this with AAA Brandywine. I ended up taking my vehicle to another repair facility to fix the issue and it was the water pump the entire time. Again, this was my first experience with AAA Brandywine and sadly it cost me a lot of money for them to "fix" an issue that they DID NOT FIX and endure poor customer service. I will never go back there again and will not recommend this facility to anyone.

I had my vehicle towed there for a check engine light and running rough. I was contacted a few days later with a report of solenoid was bad and had a lifter stuck open. Then I needed brakes and rotors all the way around.$1,400, I refused the brakes, and go back down to $800 I just need the vehicle repaired to go. I get a call saying I need all new spark plugs and were back up to $1,200. I refused and back down to $800. I get a call that I must get 1 spark plug because it has fouled, and I need a coil pack $1,000 was approved and my Vehicle will be ready in 1 hour. I call back 2 hours later and now my batterie is leaking and the car won't run so I will have to purchase a Batterie to even leave, now back to $1,200. Every time I refused a service I was hit another issue that cost me something crazy. This is Absolutely the worst car repair experience I have ever had. It seemed like problems were created to get the dollar amount that they wanted. I am Totally Disgusted at this situation.

I have mixed feelings about this shop. My car was towed there. I received great customer service from the customer service representatives. However. I was highly disappointed that I was told they were unable to fix my car. They told me it was one thing, but in all actuality, it was not. They suggested I have it towed to the dealership, but I did not. It was taken to another garage, and I was told exactly what the issue was. I will never have my car towed to any AAA Car Care Center again. I do not care what type of discount is offered to me as an AAA member again. I had to pay full price for the 2nd tow to another shop because I trusted the Car Care Center. Never again.

I was greeted immediately upon entering the facility. I told her what I needed (international license), she gave me the application, took my picture, processed everything and had me out the door in 10 minutes (no exaggeration). I loved this place.

Everytime I go and make an appointment and you wait hours just for an oil change. Went again and this time I gave up when my car was still sitting in the parking lot 30 minutes past my appointment. they are nice checking you in but you better bring a meal because you are going to be there a while. Go to Jiffy Lube if you want it done right!!

I took my truck here for brake repairs, they repaired my brakes under my 2 year 24,000 miles warranty. One month later my brakes started smoking really bad and grinding. I called the Store to speak with the Store Manager. Got placed on hold for over an half hour. I called the member relations line and spoke with Jennifer Lacy case#436, I was told that the Manager would be contacting me, that was over two months ago. My truck was feeling like it didn’t want to stop. This is very dangerous, and for AAA Club Alliance to ignore my concerns is horrendous. I spent a lot of money on my brake repairs. At this point, I just want my money back for the brake pads, rotors and calipers that I had replaced. This is awful and has been really traumatizing!

Worst place. Got motor mounts installed last September/october. Three months later they needed to be replaced. Went back up there, they stated they had to order the part. Parts came and I received no phone call stating they were in. When I called for a follow up, I was informed they sent the parts back because I didn’t come in not knowing the parts were in. The parts were reordered and the mounts were replaced a second time. Three months later, the mounts went out AGAIN. This time they stated they would order the parts from the dealer and it would take 5-7 days. Two weeks go by, I call for an update and was told they still didn’t come in. I wait another two weeks and call back up there, then I was told the parts were in, again no one called to let me know. I was told to bring my car Friday for the service, but when I take it up there they state they’re swamped and may not get to it today despite being told to bring it in that day. My car was ready on Saturday but once again no one called to let me know my vehicle was ready. They have the WORST communication up there and act nonchalant about it. It’s no point in making an appointment as your time doesn’t get honored. I pray I don’t have to bring it back up there.

I had been a faithful car care customer at this location with 3 cars over the last 6 years. Never an issue the first 3-4 years, but there's been something wrong at every visit since. Most recently, I got four different estimates for work requested. No change in the work, just attempts to overcharge for labor. Just prior to that on a different car, I'd been forced to replace year-old tires because they'd never been rotated during any of my oil change visits. Tire rotation and complete vehicle inspection are included services. They never even looked at my tires, otherwise they could have detected uneven wear and recommended an alignment. Prior to that, there was a time that parts were 'forgotten' to be ordered. Then when the part arrived and the work was supposedly completed, the car had the exact same issue when I left and needed to be returned for a warrant part replacement. Aside from the fact that the mechanics aren't completing all the services on the vehicles, the customer service reps treat you as if you're not entitled to truth and respect. And the new service manager there is the worst among them. Needless to say, they've seen the last of me and all the money I and my family have spent there over the years.

Can’t say enough great things about the folks here. We showed up ten mins before closing on a Friday evening needing a new tire after ours exploded, six hours away from home. They were so helpful and kind, and got us fixed back up and on our way within thirty minutes.

AAA sent a Tow Company that requested both keys to my car. Only one key was returned after the vehicle service was completed. AAA technicians indicated that they only received one key from the tow company. I was advised to contact AAA customer service which I have twice, once immediately from AAA Service Center and then again two days later. Fourteen days later there was no response from AAA Customer Service. At my expense Iwas compelled to have my vehicle reprogr a mm

I have been coming to the Triple AAA Service Center for sometime now and Customer Service is Paramount. The technicians that have worked on my vehicle is always knowledgeable. I have never had any problems with my vehicle after the work has been completed. I highly recommend this service center. I do not provide this review lightly because Customer Service is Huge with me. Donnell and Ms. V. are amazing. The prices here are worth it.

I really didn’t want to write this review, but felt it necessary. I’ve been taking my cars to Triple A of Brandywine basically for oil changes. Last year, they stated I needed brake work and new rotors done. So I let them complete the work which was supposed to include a brake flush. I had to take my car back a few times after the brake work and rotors were done because my brakes didn’t seem to be stopping as they should and there is a lot of squealing when I put my car in reverse. They kept stating they didn’t hear the squealing and that my brakes work fine. I normally take my car to Lexus or my local mechanic; however, my local mechanic is no longer in business and Lexus is just way too expensive. Anyway, I dealt with the squealing for some time now. This year I took my car for an oil change and they tell me I need at least three flushes, a brake flush, coolant flush and some other flush. So I asked them if the brake flush was done when I got new brakes last year, they assured me that it was. So I paid for the flush since they claim it was needed and should be done every year. However, something in the back of my mind told me to look up these services and when I got home, I did just that and I found out that I really didn’t need a brake flush since it was “supposedly” done when they did my brake work. So I call them and tell them this, they said, well the tech said the brake flush was needed because it was dirty. Now I only drive my car around Waldorf most of the time and it is rarely driven, so that was mind boggling to me, especially because what I read is that a brake flush is only needed every 2-4 years or every 30,000 miles. Which I hadn’t surpassed either. I feel like I paid for a service that wasn’t needed or that they made me pay for something that they forgot to do when they did my brake work the first time. So needless to say, they won’t be performing anything other than an oil change from this point forward. I hate feeling like someone has gotten over on me.

I visited this location to get some tires installed that I ordered from tire rack. The location is very clean, they offer free water, coffee, and tea. alot of literature to read regarding the travel perks they offer. As a AAA member I got a discounted rate on my tire installation which was helpful! The Waiting area is kind of small, it's not apart from the representative work stations which isn't a problem. It's just minimal seats. Exactly 6. The wait was longer than I was quoted but Ithat's sort of normal going to dealership type of places So it seems everything went pretty well, except for the techs not putting foot paper down to help minimize the chances of tracking oils on the floor carpet

The AAA Service Center in Brandywine, MD is the best kept secret to car care!! I just found out that they are closing at the end of the month!! WHY??? I don’t think AAA advertised their OUTSTANDING Service Center at this location enough. This location services both of my vehicles- one of which is high end. I SAVE THOUSANDS getting my car serviced here instead of taking it to the dealership!! Please call AAA and let them know that this Brandywine location needs to stay open!!
