140k on the 2014 Chevy truck. Transmission torque converter goes out and a whole rebuild needs done. Two attempts to fix it over 3 weeks and 5k later the truck runs as it should. Fixed and good for another 100k. Fingers crossed.

The gentleman that got on the phone with me was a complete idiot. I asked for transmission fluid to be filled and he went on to say how since my motor was replaced the mechanic was an idiot and didn’t fill fluid cause he was lazy and probably messed my tranny up. Like wow all this due to asking about fluid, I hope no one has been screwed over by this guy, they permanently lost my family’s business.

My sister-in-law spent $2500 to have her transmission fixed in December and here we are stranded an hour from home due to a non-working transmission. She had to return it three times to have it fixed properly.

Unfortunately, my transmission was in pretty bad shape on my 10-year-old car. I am retired living on a fixed income and did not want to buy a new car or could I afford to pay the dealer for new or rebuilt Transmission. My car started slipping in gear and I immediately asked Siri for directions to the nearest Amico AAMCO location as it turned out. I was nearly 4 minutes away and drove directly there. I was greeted With courtesy, and after David, the owner, came out To test drive and diagnose the problem. Upon closer examination, I was informed that my valve body did not need to be replaced, and I would save considerable amount of money. In the end, my car was repaired for half the lowest dealer quotes. There were some delays due to supply chain issues on some of the parts, but I was kept informed, and the car was returned to me running like new for $2,000 less than their original quote My thanks and gratitude to David and staff for solving my problem in a professional, efficient and compassionate way in the Clearwater shop.
