This is my trusted auto maintenance shop for my car since moving to California! I've been coming here for years and cannot speak highly enough for this shop. The team is polite, professional, and honest, allowing me to trust their recommendations and feel like I'm not being ripped off at all. They are also very accommodating and always willing to help, especially answering my many questions at times. I definitely plan on continuing to come here! Thanks team!!

Came here after hearing a rattling sound for my driver side tire for weeks, I had suspected my brakes were done wrong by a Valvoline Express Care center. I had taken my car to the dealership for inspection and they said they found nothing, but I knew something was off. Took it here, these guys listened to me and found the problem within 10 minutes of inspection. A caliper was loose due to a bad break job at a Valvoline Express Care — made worse by likely a non-inspection by a dealer. Even took me to the garage to show me the problem before working on it. No upselling. Pure honesty. Extremely fair pricing for quality work. I will be back for servicing. Come here, support honest auto shops — even if it’s just to get an inspection, you won’t regret it.

After moving from Minnesota, I was looking for a mechanic that was as honest and helpful as the one I was used too. Not only did I find that at Accurate, but they even took the time to walk me through everything they found on my car. In the 10 years I owned it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the underside of my car. Small businesses really take the time to help you and make you feel welcomed. They’ve got a loyal customer after 1 visit.

Owner is dishonest and did not own up to a mistake made by one of his mechanics. An apprentice (he’s a student going to PCC learning to be an auto mechanic), by accident, left my car key in the ignition after he performed service, as a result, this drain the battery in my car… when I came to pick up my car, it would not start. They were sorry and proceeded to jumpstart my car and send me on my way home to recharge the battery. However, as a result of this dead battery, it caused my AC system to completely fail. The owner told me sometimes when the battery drains completely it resets the electrical panel for the AC causing it to disfunction. WELL.. GUESS WHAT, the owner had the audacity to charge the entire AC repair bill on me. When I came back to pick up the vehicle, the owner was not there therefore they would not release the vehicle unless I pay for it. Since I had get a ride from a friend to the mechanics shop, and it was quite far away from my home, I was not going to leave the shop without my car. The next day, I disputed this charge with the owner but he refused. I did not expect the owner to replace my AC in its entirety, however, since the mistake was made by one of his mechanics, I expected for him to at least pay for the labor and I would be happy to pay for the new part. Needless to say, I will not be going back this mechanic anymore. As an owner of a small business myself, this is NOT how to treat your customers.

Accurate Autoworks is simply the BEST. I’ve needed only routine maintenance for so many years I can’t remember when I first brought my car here (After Stapps Auto in Eagle Rock retired, AA is the only other mechanic I’ve had). They’re honest. Timely. Well priced for parts and labor. Can help out with tires, too. Helpful with smog checks and the little odd ball computer issues with technology on a newer car. They can sell your old car. Why are you NOT coming to Accurate Autoworks?

Had to get my transmission fluid change done. Got a quote from the dealership and was looking for a better rate. Came here through a recommendation and really appreciated their service and care as well as the price. Would recommend this place for any car repairs and/or maintenance issues.

I went here years ago and had a good experience with Ed, BUT holy moly it’s gone way downhill. I recommended my fiancée go to Accurate Autoworks, and he had an atrocious experience. John took over working on his car and ran up a $3000 bill with insufficient communication, no agreement on the cost, and actually ignored what my fiancée asked them to do. He had his car for a month and a half and barely communicated with him about updates. My fiancée had to call 5 times in one day just to get ahold of John after well over a week of not hearing anything from him. At the end of the $3000 bill, John also couldn’t even assure him the car was fixed. Just that he ran up a bunch of time and labor charges taking it apart and putting it back together, only to no longer be able to replicate the problem so he assumes he fixed it somehow. It feels gross and scummy and like a horrible business model to completely ignore the customers decisions about their car and their money. I highly recommend avoiding this place.

We have been Accurate Autoworks customers since 2005. They have always been reliable, honest, fair, and professional. At this point, if they tell me something needs to be done, I just ask them to handle it. John and his guys are just fantastic to work with!

I have been a client for over 20 years. Accurate Autoworks has always provided outstanding service. The business is run with integrity, as reflected in how the staff treat customers and never try to upsell or recommend unnecessary repairs. On more than one occasion, I have asked if something needed to be replaced, and although they could have made money, they told me that I could wait to replace the part. So grateful I found them all those years ago! Highly recommend their work!

We had a great experience taking our 2018 Jeep Cherokee to Ed and Vic at Accurate. We had gotten a ridiculous quote for some repairs on this vehicle from the dealership, I did some digging and found Accurate, we took the car out of the dealership and Ed helped us out, Vic diagnosed, the car didn’t need what the dealership was saying, we ended up saving a ton of money and not getting ripped off by the dealership. Look no further, take your car to Accurate.

I took my car in for an oil change. Two days later I drove to work and smoke started to come out from the engine. The mechanic came to my job and said that a plastic was left in the car. My car engine could have been destroyed. I will never again take my car to this mechanic.

I’m a new customer, but a friend has been a loyal patron for years. Accurate’s Ed was thorough and friendly in checking my Infiniti and recommending what service was more urgent and what could wait. They were able to fit in more work on a Friday before a planned trip. Pricing is fair for Pasadena, and matched the estimate.

I have an older vehicle (1986 Nissan pickup), and most mechanics were not willing to take it on. Accurate Autoworks was my truck's salvation. They were knowledgeable and eager to talk about the situation.

i have towed my car to accurate after it broke down near their shop noone would talk to me for 3 days i called every day finally i got an estimate for $500 sed very tire road and rotor. After i signed estimate to proceed he called me to say this is only for inspection???? the repair bill is different once we take car apart ?? I asked what does that even mean ? the owner name is Jon and I also talked to ED who kept referring me to this crook called Jon. I have decided to pick up the car and pay another tow. They wanted $150 per day for storage !!!! outrageous thieves . Sure enough he send an email with a $500 inspection plus $150 storage which I paid neither and threatened to send the police to pick up my car. All emails with me and car is finally picked up unfixed Adam

The owner of this shop took substantial time to walk me through a preventative repair as my car has 120k miles on it. The time he took to help me understand the bigger picture, and specific details, felt unusual in my experience with car repairs and ultimately helped me make an informed decision. I have long since stopped taking my Toyota to the local dealer as their motivations to meet monthly quotas became more and more transparent. If I'm going to continue with this care for another 50 or 70k miles, I will rely on--hopefully not too much--Accurate Autoworks to do it.

Hit my Honda Fit real bad on a curb, they diagnosed the issue same day. My car was also fixed in other needed areas at no extra charge. Feels better than before! Great communication and friendly service. I’ll be taking my car back here if I ever have issues again Note: even though their building advertises fixing Japanese models, they’ll take anything
