I purchased a ball hitch that was already scratched up, not thinking much about it. When I tried using it, it didn’t fit, so I attempted to return it later that day. They wouldn’t accept my return because of that same scratch. The shift manager called the store manager Sarah and she denied the return too. I Was standing there for about 20 minutes just for them to tell me no. Will not be shopping at Advanced Auto Parts ever again

I’m right near work and unfortunately my engine light is on. So I stopped looked at the door and it reads free engine light scanning. So I go and ask and guy points towards the window and says no it’s on the sign out there... okay I’m sorry your white sign in the Wide array of signs out there compared to the vastly yellow colored one.. I completely respect your distancing efforts but a simple unfortunately due to the pandemic we aren’t doing that right now beats your attitude and unprofessionalism.

I walked in and the guy asked what he could help me with “I got to return this it doesn’t fit” he said “oh you installed it? We can’t return it the!” I told him no I I took it out and brought it next to the other harness and tried to plug it in and it didn’t fit” showed him the thing was clean. So then he said see the guy at the counter. “Your gunna have to take this back to Gordon.” I said “ oh you can’t return at different stores now?” He said “you can but this you’ll have to take it to Gordon”. If I didn’t have to rush to work I would have put him in the hot seat and then got my clamp elsewhere but had to just bite my tongue and killed him with kindness because I would have been late. GO TO GORDON DRIVE location. Trust me people

My Fathers Daughter 2015
I stopped by Advance Auto (South Sioux City location,) to purchase some windshield wipers for my daughters car. I was pleasantly surprised to find 3 women running the show. Very welcoming, helpful and patient with my multiple questions on my daughters car and my own. Sara (General Manager,) was so very helpful and just kind. She thoroughly explained the warranty and also gave me suggestions on a few items that I’m planning on purchasing in the near future for my car. Trinity, who I actually spoke with on the phone before I stopped in, grabbed my new wipers and installed them on my daughters car and followed through to make sure they worked properly. She too was welcoming and helpful with a smile. Just wanted to give a shoutout to these ladies for providing a wonderful experience that I’ll definitely be returning to experience again.
