Their pricing seems to be non-competitive. Bought an item with a rebate, of course it was a mail in type and sure enough I was denied the rebate for unspecific details. Avoid shopping here and utilize stores that have a proven customer satisfaction track record.

I forgot the gentlemans name who helped me but he was very nice and went above and beyond to help make sure I got the right parts and information. I also asked about job positions and he told me everything I needed to know before I said another word. Great customer service. Nothing like standing in front of the counter looking at someone behind it and not receiving a hello or be with you in a moment. He didn't even acknowledge me. So AutoZone it is! They're always helpful and kind and quick to lone some help or knowledge.

Ive always had a good experience with Advance, but certainly not this one! Very rude, acted like it was a chore to actually help someone and couldn't be bothered to answer questions. I certainly won't return. Pathetic.

Drove 20 minutes to the Rio Rancho NM store because of the free battery installation. There was only 1 employee in the store at the time so he couldn't do it right away but estimated someone would be back in 20-25 minutes so I told him I was fine waiting and his response was " are you sure you don't want me to just give you the tools to do it yourself?" If I wanted to change out the 2 batteries myself I would have just bought them somewhere else for less. Seemed to me he just didn't want to do it. Why offer the service at all if that's the case. I'll spend my $400 or better somewhere else and won't be back

I needed an uncommon size of tap and die for a project I wanted to complete in a weekend. Friday night, I found that the only place in town that had both the tap AND the die was the AAP in RR. I ordered online for in-store pickup. Saturday morning, just a few minutes after the store opened, I got an email that my tools were ready. The person I spoke with was friendly and professional and I was in and out in minutes. The tools were exactly as described online. I'll be returning to this store!

The guy working morning shift on 3/01/25 literally tried to sell me transmission fluid for my power steering. I asked if he was sure about that he called his other coworker and asked him and he also said the same thing. After a bunch of research and asking mechanics I went and got my refund I'm super thankful I did not put this in my power steering reservoir . They said the computer came up with the results but I feel like it's common sense that you should never put a transmission fluid inside of your power steering fluid reservoir. These guys need to be trained better or get better equipment
