I went on a road trip I probably shouldn't have and ended up stranded in Jacksonville about 300 miles from home because my compressor seized up and I had to bypass it with the belt in order for my car to run. Unfortunately the belt was too loose to be effective, so I barely made it off the military base and worked my way to this store, and Dave happened to be out and noticed I was having a lot of trouble. He made a few calls and worked with me and got the right belt to bypass the ac compressor and get my car road Worthy enough to get me home Dave, I can't thank you enough for that, I thought I'd be stuck in Jacksonville for the night or have to call insurance to get towed which would have costed my thousands of dollars. Thanks to you I'm safe at home petting a puppy that hasn't stopped climbing on me since I got back Lesson learned though, don't go on road trips without at least $1000 in savings to back you up.

So I goes in one day and buy a few things i needed for a car I just got. just the basic stuff oil and coolant stuff and other odds and ins. I ended up selling the car like two days later never even pulled stuff out of the trunk of my car. I goes in and to get a refund because i didn't need it anymore. First they tell me they can take everything back besides the coolant, Then they tell me they have to put it on a Store card so I had to spend the money inside the store. Mind you everything is still brand new not open this blew me away. Never have I ever heard of anyone doing this.

Lots of issues with the parts ND getting them on time it's like only 1 person knows what's going on when I call predominantly John is the only one that's keeping up with things and knows how to actually handle commercial accounts.... It's s shame that the company cannot train their employees to perform better . Constantly get the wrong parts if I deal with anyone other than John....

Been there a few times. Every time dealing with either somebody that doesn’t want to be there and is rushing me out the door so they can slack off, or somebody incompetent in their job. Wouldn’t even price match anything from online competitors. Even though the website CLEARLY states they do. (Made that very clear) “Well, I’ve been working here for a while and we don’t do that”... smh.

While Advance Auto Parts is my favorite chain of auto parts stores, this location is not on par with the Lejeune Blvd location. The staff is not as knowledgeable (tried to sell me the incorrect oil for my vehicle), and the service can be a bit slow. They still have a great selection, much more so than the other big chains, but I'll stick with the Lejeune Blvd store.

I came in today to get my battery replaced and was told by my work that they have a discount program set up through them. The workers there were extremely rude and said that they couldn’t do the discount bc “it wasn’t in their system”. I walked out went 10 min down the road to the next advanced auto and they said “oh yeah we know that discount it’s no problem”. Saved $100 on a battery and didn’t have to deal with rude workers.
