Advanced Auto Care and Smog are so incredible! They are one of the top places in Ventura for quality tires. I got a super affordable tire quote for my 2020 Elantra and the next day, those tires were on in a heartbeat! The most honest mechanics in town. Don't overcharge women, won't refuse to work on your duct taped ,gorilla glued clunker,even cheap pre smog inspections if you think it will fail, but like to weigh your options. Used tires if you can't afford a new one for like $25. Top notch work, they never talk down to anyone, and super friendly. 10 stars if I could.

So glad I found these guys. After going to several unscrupulous mechanics in Ventura, I finally found one that's honest as well as being professional and friendly. I called T.O. These guys are great. Everything about the process was smooth, transparent and quick. My truck needed a tow, the guys were able to get me in the next day and whoever answered the phone was very kind and helpful. My truck is old and undoubtedly has other issues that should be addressed in the near future but I was pretty sure I knew what needed replacing to get her driving, these guys didn’t do any unnecessary testing or digging around to try and upsell me or drive up labor. I’ve taken two cars to this shop and unfortunately had negative experiences both times. The first time, I brought my car in for an oil leak and some other repairs. They fixed the oil leak, and that part of the job was done well. However, immediately after getting the car back, I experienced a massive brake fluid leak. My brake line had busted. Since the car was older, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to bad timing. I ended up fixing the brake lines myself. Months later, I decided to give them another chance with a different vehicle. This time I paid them to replace the brakes and rotors (I supplied those parts). The parking brake shoes were not replaced because they didn’t need to be. When I got the car back, I discovered the parking brake hadn’t been adjusted at all—my car actually rolled down a hill when I tried to set it. This is a clear safety issue. When I returned to the shop, instead of simply correcting the oversight, the owner/manager argued with me and blamed me for not specifically requesting that the parking brake be adjusted. He said since I only asked for brakes and rotors to be changed, and supplied the parts, they weren’t responsible for adjusting the parking brake. That reasoning makes no sense—adjusting the parking brake is a standard part of a brake job. To be fair, they did eventually fix the issue free of charge, but only after the argument, and I had to leave my car there for an additional day. The lack of professionalism and accountability was the real deal breaker. A safety issue like this should never turn into an argument with a paying customer. Because of this, I won’t be bringing any more vehicles here. I’d rather set aside my own time to do the work myself than deal with this kind of attitude and disregard for safety. I’ve taken two cars here and had very mixed experiences. Pros: They did a good job fixing my oil leak on the first visit. When the parking brake issue came up on my second visit, they did eventually fix it free of charge. Cons: After the first repair, my brake line immediately failed. Since the car was older, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the timing was hard to ignore. On the second visit, the parking brake wasn’t adjusted after new brakes and rotors were installed, which is a basic safety step. When I brought it back, I felt blamed instead of helped, which came across as unprofessional. I had to leave my car an extra day for them to correct the oversight. Overall: 2/5 stars. While they’re capable of completing repairs, the lack of accountability and the safety concerns mean I won’t be returning.

Horrible Outrageous prices on smog other places are charging almost half of what this dude is charging really proud of his service I guess. The guy can barely hear you practically have to yell at him when talking to him would not recommend this place for a smog at least.

I've been looking for a good car repair shop for some time. This shop is amazing! My wife took her car in to remove a nail from her tire that the Kia dealer said she had. They checked all 4 tires but could not find a nail. They didn't charge her for their time! I took my car to them yesterday to check wheel alignment. All 4 wheels were in alignment. They didn't charge me for their time. Even though I insisted! This shop has excellent reviews, which is why I chose them. I have found my car repair shop!
