Took my car in to replace the engine and clutch on my supercharged 2003 hyundai tiburon.. The new engine blew the very next day once I received my car back.. I took it back to them n they said "We did all were willing to help you with".. no refund no discount on repair no nothing.. ridiculous labor rate aswell so now I'm out 6k and still have a blown engine

Fast & friendly service. Look for their coupons in flyers or on their website. Nice, clean waiting room area with water, coffee, and Wi-Fi. Apparently this place is under new ownership, but they seem good. Start certified too. Highly recommend.

Although a bit difficult to find this shop was a delight to work with. The technicians were very fast and efficient. It took longer for the girl at the front desk to enter my information in the computer. She is the reason for only for stars. She was very unprofessional, taking a personal call while I'm waiting at the counter. She just seemed to immature to be working at a front desk.

Excellent, best diagnostic technicians in town! I had a 1993 Volvo and always took it to the "specialty mechanic," but after the "specialty mechanic" could not figure out why my car would not stay on, I needed someone new. A friend referred me to "Advanced Smog & Legal Performance," I took it in for a diagnosis. Raul found my electrical fault fast and efficiently, furthermore he noticed a problematic vacuum leak which was causing me to lose about 3 MPG, and a broken suspension component which was throwing out my alignment! I had previously accepted the poor alignment, and attributed it to age. Now I know it was attributed to incompetent alignment techs. In one fell swoop I had everything fixed. Advanced Smog and Legal Performance may have a higher hourly, but that is because they fix it fast, fix it right, and fix it the first time. Needless to say, the techs at Advance Smog went outside the call of duty to provide superior service. Thanks to this family owned and operated shop, my Volvo runs perfectly.

Extremely friendly folks!!! Ed and his guys went above and beyond what I expected! My truck was sold to me with aftermarket parts that were not compatible with it to pass smog. Ed and his guys worked non stop to get the right parts to make it legal and as low cost to me as possible!! It's not often you find a place that treats you like family!! Took my car to get smogged. It didn't pass. They told me that when they turned it on the engine light didn't turn on and when they ran it there was a misfire. Took it to get it fixed and they let me know that they pulled an industry scam on me. Said that if the engine light didn't turn on they should have told me it was going to fail anyway. So they got my money. They do not have morals or compassion for the working person. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I've used Advanced Smog and Automotive for years now. When I was a Logistics manager for a local courier company, I would always take the cars here because the price is reasonable, the service is great and they get you in and out quick. Easy recommendation

If you have the voucher for smog this place will find anything just to use it all and still charge you on top of that. My car has all oem parts and they said my car has aftermarket parts and wanted to charge me 1k to fix that'd not even including a smog test
