The reason for the downgrade in my rating as follows: **New ownership (prior owner James sold business to one of his mechanics) very, very picky on which cars they prefer to work on. Even if it's a American made car they are very selective as to what they'll work on. Never used to be this way sadly. Unfortunately won't be using Akis anymore since they won't service the cars I have. My family has been going to Aki's Automotive for the last 30 years plus (with the original Aki who sold it to another Aki, and now owned by James)! These guys are honest, fair, and their work is high quality. Very clean location as well. They never gave my family the run around and have always been straight up. No B.S. here! Suggestion: Call ahead of time, make an appointment, they do get very busy. If your in search of a auto mechanic that you can trust give Aki's Automotive a visit and ask for James (the heart of this operation).

Good work done here! Definitely a 5.0 worthy shop! I needed to get my EGR replaced and they were able to do that within an hour! Not only did they fix it quick but they even gave my vehicle some original bolts since it didn't have the right screws from whoever replaced it before. I'll be coming back here for any other repair work I need done! Honest and trustworthy and the prices aren't bad either. Thank you guys!

Honest doesn't even come close. My car would not start and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out that the sensor for the key wasn't in the new key shell which is why it would not start. After the key and sensor were put back together, the car started. They could have charged me hundreds for nothing but it was so simple and quick. There is no where else I will go for any repair. Ever.

Five stars! I’d leave six if I could. No matter if it’s my brakes or my starter or my suspension, or any other problem, Aki’s is always fair and fast. They’ll tell what it’s gonna cost up front and when you pick up your car, that’s the price that it is. It’s hard to find a business like this anymore in any line of work. Good, honest mechanics are notoriously hard to find but you don’t have to look any further. This is the place!

He's set in his ways, if you're not one of his regulars, he isn't very polite. He chooses who he will help to repair their vehicles. Needless to say he was rude and very short with me. I went to another mechanic.
