We had just moved up to WI and I was looking for a good auto shop for our vehicles. I had a leak from my truck (among other things) that warranted attention and contacted Al Huss Auto after getting a flyer in my mailbox. They were quick, attentive, transparent, and very professional. My truck was ready to go in less than a day. The app they use to show estimates and inspection done in the vehicle is top notch. One of the best experiences I've had. Thanks again!

I really appreciate the transparency and professionalism with your team. Especially John/Jacob who assisted me over the phone and in-person. The online portal, photos, and shuttle is very convenient for someone who is busy/ works during the day. I couldn't get in for an appt with my dealership for weeks out so I brought my 15 Hyundai Elantra to Hobart location, repair and service was done the same day and the discounts are great. I would recommend and return to Al Huss.

Very friendly staff. I enjoyed how easy they made the process of getting an oil change and tire rotation done. I liked that they provided a list of maintenance that they could do as well as the cost and let you choose what you want via internet application. I was very surprised that they messaged me to make sure everything was alright after service the following day. I do like that they offer vehicle pickup and drop-off as well as shuttling. That is really nice especially since the last shop I went to told me they would shuttle me then told me day of service they didn't do that. I would definitely come back here.

My check engine light came on resulting in needing a full diagnostic testing. Brought my vehicle to Al Huss in Hobart and John was super responsive. He called me with any update needed and answered all my questions. They were also very patient and flexible with me to pick up my vehicle. They even went as far as replacing my key fob battery that was low, filling my windshield washer fluid, and cleaning off the battery terminals for me. Overall, I highly recommend Al Huss in Hobart.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share our experience. We brought our vehicle in for routine service, which included a tire rotation that we specifically paid for. When we got the car back, it was clear the tires had not been rotated — the wheel that was missing a valve cap was still on the front left and missing a cap. It’s disappointing to be charged for a service that wasn’t actually performed. We were planning to bring our other vehicle here for new brakes but now we can't trust them. Hoping they take this as constructive feedback and improve their service and accountability moving forward.

I brought my car here for an oil change on Friday. It was the first time going here and unfortunately there was a small issue with the hours and staff not making me aware of the change in the closing time on Fridays. So I missed picking my car up before they closed. After posting a review on their website of my displeasure about this happening, the owner himself called me within 45 minutes of my review. He was very apologetic and wanted to make things right with me. He was very kind and understanding and he helped to correct the issue immediately. It is service like he provided that keeps customers happy and returning. Thank you for being an attentive owner and caring about your customers. I appreciate you.

I recently I brought my Lincoln into Al Huss on Verlin Road in Green Bay, because of a steering challenge. I was having. They diagnosed it perfectly and had me look at it, and show me what was happening with the front right wheel. I had a hard to find part wish they found in a couple of days. They put on the new hub and wheel bearing. They suggested I get an alignment also which I believed I needed. After I got my car back and drove it down the highway to appleton, the car rode better, then it ever has. It was smooth, tight and it was aligned perfectly. I was satisfied with the results, their expert opinion in diagnosis and follow up.

They’ve so much work on my rig and I trust no one else now. I’ve driven my rig across the country and their work has been so impeccable I’ve run into ZERO issues. They’re very efficient and honest. Best diesel mechanic in the area by far and all of my family in the GB area now bring their vehicles to Al Huss. Love these guys! Ryan at the front desk is a super sweet guy and Tony is VERY informative. Do yourself a favor and don’t gamble on mechanics. Go to Al Huss.

Dropped $11,000 on repairs and my mechanic is going into my car because some of the stuff I was charged for was not done. I just got an oil change and they put the filter in backwards. My engine could have been damaged. For as much money as I spent this is ridiculous. I didn't do a payment plan I paid in cash. Not easy to do and for the amount of money I spent I'm highly unsatisfied.

Called to ask them if they honored extended warranty. Which they said yes. I asked them bout issues with truck as transmission was acting up. They never said a price cause i was gonna have repairs done BY THEM.. they decided to look at my tires..brake pads . Oil. And CHARGED ME 200 FN DOLLARS. I WILL NEVERRR GO BACK.. COMPLETE RIP OFF. BTW.. I FIXED VEHICLE ON MY OWN.. WITH A 79.00 PART IN 15 MINS. STAY AWAYY FROM THEM

They didn't honor the oil change coupons price that they offer. Very shady math that doesn't come close to what they advertise. Lets say coupn price is $49.95. They start at $91 for service then deduct $26.05 and then add service fee and tax. Your bill is now $75. UPDATE: I talked to the owner today 8/28/25 about his billing platform and method. He agreed he made some mistakes as a business and was open to make changes to more accurately bill customers. He also offered to fully refund me for the over charges on my bill and address customer service concerns at the Hobart location. I hope our discussion leads to better service to all his customers moving forward. He assuered me that is his goal as a business owner. UPDATE 9/8/25 DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BUSINESS. I compromised with this business owner after my first review and he promissed me a refund of my over charges but it has been 10 days and he didn't give me a refund as promised. JUST A VERY DISHONEST BUSINESS OWNER that will say anything but does not honor his commitments to his customers.
