Police report and BBB complaint filed. I brought my 2000 Corvette in to get the cushion replaced on the driver side seat. Joe did it for a reasonable price, $250 . During the process of putting the new cushion in, they snapped my seat adjust switch which is electronic. Since it has been broken I am unable to change seat positions while driving. The chair is stuck in one position . I have contacted Joe twice about fixing this over a month ago. Haven't heard back when it's going to be fixed. It needs to be fixed as it was in perfect working condition before I brought the car in.

Took my Mazda Miata here to get the glass window resealed to the convertible top. Everybody else told me I would need a whole new convertible top. Abraham was lovely. He said he’ll see what he can do. He’s owned this business for years. PS Just got the Mazda back! Very reasonable price and great craftsmanship! I don’t need a new top. Abraham has been 31 years in Oakland doing auto upholstery work. Customers return, he tells me, often much older, and say hello. Abraham has a hard time remembering these repeat customers from when they were younger. “They trust me, “ he says. Me too!

I needed a custom redesign of my bucket car seat. The contour rise on each side of the seat were causing considerable difficulty to my right leg. I've had leg surgery that left me with metal hardware along the side of the right leg and the design of the seat pushed directly against that hardware. The pain was limiting my ability to drive. Toyota recommended Mr. Joe Abraham. When I spoke to him he said this was something he could fix. He said he could do the redesign and keep my original leather upholstery. I was very skeptical. I expected the seat to require new leather and the new design would make it look so much different from the passenger seat. I was dreading having to do this to my car. But I've just got back from picking up my car and I'm beyond excited. The seat has the same leather and no one would ever suspect that the seat has been changed at all. The best part was driving the 25 miles back home. That raised contour is completing gone. I got home with no pain at all. He did this in one day and his price was so much better than I expected. Thank you so much Joe.

Joe is the best!!! My window was bashed in and I was so stressed ,it happened Sat. Night so I had to wait till Monday . Joe has the best personality and super funny and let me no not to worry.I brought the car in at 11:20 and was told replacing my window would take 1.5 hours ........ it was done in 1/2 hour!!! And 1/3 the price of safelite!! 💕💕💕 I recommend this place hands down!! Love love love Joe!!!!!!!!!!

Joe is simply the best. I dropped my car off for a window/leak repair. Though I need to go back for another session, Joe managed to make significant changes to stop the window leaks. And his prices seem almost too reasonable! My car has had serious window leaks for the last few years. Other shops seemed to not find a solution to my problem. Joe checked it out and quickly estimated the situation. Turns out the front windshield was improperly sealed, which led to rust and a leak that is most likely flooding my car. Simply put, Joe is the guy to repair all and any Auto/Window Repairs in addition to his upholstery.

My sunroof stopped working and it was stuck open. I live in Oakland and have street parking, not an ideal situation. To make matters worse, I work in person in Redwood City. I had to take a WFH day and hope that I could get someone to fix my sunroof that same day. I went to several places before I found American Auto Upholstery and Glass. Joe fixed my sunroof the same day and the price was super reasonable. Get service and great work. I can't believe that I have lived in this city for this long and just discovered him.
