Went to Brakeway and was told everything in the world was wrong with my brakes and I would need to pay almost 400$ to get it fixed. Went to American Brake Center for a second opinion. Was given an honest answer and a very affordable price. All I needed was rear brakes! Brakeway advised I needed a new boot, pins, brakes- front and back. If you're looking for an honest answer of what needs to be done and what's going on, I'd definitely go here.

This guy took a car that was bordering street legality and not only made it work like new, but also did so at an extremely fair price. When other shops were quoting thousands of dollars, he said $600. When the repair needed a component that he hadn't foreseen to tell me about, he added it for only the cost of the part, not adding the cost of labor. This shop is worth your time, money, and trust.

I had my brakes replaced in December. By August they started squeaking. I took my truck in to have it checked. They informed me my brake pads were fine. They took it for a test drive. When he heard the squeaking he informed me he would swap the brake pads out on warranty. He said he would never want someone leaving his shop without being satisfied. I enjoy having a shop that you can trust.

I got my brakes and my rotors replaced here, and it was by far a great experience. Often times I feel auto shops like to take advantage of me, but the gentlemen who helped me seemed to honestly care about the well being of my vehicle & not trying to “pull one over on me.” I will definitely be back for my auto needs.

Trust The biggest issue I have with companies that sell the service is a will say you need to service when you don't and you need to feel like you can trust them. With American brake I have that trust. There has been numerous occasions I go in just for a brake inspection. And they come back and tell me if my brakes are in great shape they clean them up and I'm ready to go. The first time I saw them was after I went to a break Place who said I needed to have the rotors turned while my second know they have to be replaced. Did not have trust in them came to America break for a second opinion and instead of replacing them they were able to machine them.

Scheduled an appointment the day before and arrived on time, but they were bogged down with work, so I was "worked in" as soon as they could get to me, which caused me to wait in the waiting room much longer than I should have with a pre-scheduled appointment. Service and quality are outstanding-have used them several times before, and will do so again when I need brakes. I do recommend them.

Amazing. They are very well priced, as well as knowledgeable in their field. Went to have brakes done, they not only did they machine the back rotors like another place quoted us, they also found a pulse in the front which the other place didn't mention. Instead of pushing new rotors on us, they said they were confident that it could just be machined. It's nice to go to a place when you know so little about something and feel like you can trust the people who work there. They worked at a fast pace and were polite as they could be, with an atmosphere that is welcoming. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you!

I hope that I am only the only person to have a bad experience. The manager was very rude, and clearly not customer centric. A very pushy shop, but I expect this from most. Of course, you who would not want the up-sell. Aside from this, he made my girlfriend very uncomfortable. She had to leave shop, because she did not feel comfortable waiting there while the car was finished. A couple days after picking the vehicle up for a brake replacement, my ABS lights came on, and I contacted the store to see if they would have an idea to the issue. I was not looking to blame, just get an opinion. They were very rude, and they were not sure when they would have time to look at it. I did not return, but had it looked at elsewhere. Oddly enough, the wheel speed sensor wires in the front where the brakes were replaced were both broken. I cannot say pinpoint the cause, but it looked like they were not attached properly, and had been caught/pulled. A few weeks later, the vibration when braking returned (part of the original issue for visit the shop), and continued to get worse. Although the calipers and pads were replaced, the rotors were not resurfaced or replaced, and the surface was not even causing vibration. So, I had to replace the rotors, and again the pads. What would have been a reasonably priced brake job, became quite expensive after all was said and done.

Their service is done expediently and with precision while only factoring in the best cost for us. Having to mechanically maintain six different cars for all of us would be impossible without them. I was recommended to American brake Center a couple years ago. I have taken several of our families vehicles there for several different things. I am skeptical of mechanics in general. However, the owner and his employees do really good work. They appear to be very trustworthy and their prices are good. It’s hard to find a good mechanic you can trust. They are always honest and if they cannot fix it for whatever reason, they will recommend a place that can do the work and would be trustworthy. I highly recommend American Brake Center.
