This shop is a SCAM!! They breached contract! I had my engine replaced in September 2022. It had a year warranty. I have had it back in the shop 3 times since. Denise was my direct contact but she is MIA. My car stopped running again in late July. I had it towed to Ancot on 8/7/23. I called DAILY and no one answered the phone. After going to shop and speaking to Armando (mechanic) he stated that Denise had not been in the shop in months and he knows nothing about my warranty or vehicle. So I continued to call and reached Rhonda who said she would call back. No call back. So I again went to the shop and spoke to Armando who stated that Denise was not again in the shop & has not been in the shop in months- and her father died and he knows nothing about my vehicle. I continued to call daily with no answer. The phone was disconnected in the beginning of September. My last visit to the shop was 9/14/23, Armando again said he would not touch or diagnosis my car due to Denise not being in the office. He told me I was wasting his time so I left and I had my car towed out of the shop. I will be filing a complaint with the state and taking legal action as I am out $3800 and will now have to pay someone else to fix my car.

A friend of mine transmission went out of her Ice Cream Truck on 501 a couple hundred feet from Armondos shop on a Saturday morning. He wasn't even working that day but had just dropped by his shop . He was such a blessing helping to get it off the street saving her a huge tow bill. Then installing a transmission for a very fair price. Thank you Armondo. You're one of the good guys.

I have done business with this company before which is why I chose to go back. At the end of March I contacted Ms. Denise about doing work to my vehicle. We worked out a plan and the car was towed to the shop. After months of calls we were finally able to reach someone, who was the father of the owner, and came to an agreement on starting the work which was rebuilding the transmission for $1800. We paid a deposit in June and was given a week to two week time frame. Now here we are in September. Again after months of back and forth we finally spoke with the receptionist on Monday to find out the father had passed away two weeks prior. Our transmission had been removed and he is the only one who know la how to put it back together. We were given the option to get our deposit back and our vehicle. So today my husband goes to the shop and no one is there and the number is disconnected. Ma. Denise you have my condolences and I completely understand. Their are no hard feelings but at this point I just want my car and my money back.

Big Thanks to Armando @ Ancot transmissio, for standing on his word and work, at getting my car back in working order 🙌.. It was down for 3 months, and noone from Conway to Charleston, Wilmington etc. could get the transmission or parts in 🤯🤯🤯... I was told I needed a new transmission for my Infinit G37. But again big THANKS TO ARMANDO for that not being the case. He went inside the transmission and fixed what needed to be fixed 🙌🙌🙌😊. And also got it done in the time frame he told me he'd have it done for me. Which was a week, due to waiting on parts to come in. I am a super happy customer ☺️☺️☺️ I love and missed my baby being broken. ARMANDO at Ancot transmission, he has us SMILING AND RIDING AGAIN 🫰...THANK GOD 1ST 🙌.. Transmission issues etc, I definitely recommend him. MS. MARTINEZ!!

I have been trying to call this shop for months, I spoke with them several times about a transmission for my Town car, but they are unreliable and they never call you back or they don't investigate to see if they can find you one, don't bring your car here you will probably be waiting a year 👎👎👎👎👎👎

Took hubby's daughter's Chevy to get transmission checked out. Mechanic brought out his computer and diagnosed right then that the transmission was good, but the torque converter was bad. Ordered it from Chevrolet and replaced it along with changing fluids in 2 days. No charge for diagnosis?!! Wow! Nobody else offered that. They all wanted $100. Or more. He also quoted a price and kept that price. Car runs perfectly. 12 month warranty also. So happy with this business. Thank you!!

Great team of scammers! They towed my truck to their shop, pretended to rebuild the transmission but simply replaced my rear differential and charged nearly $2200 to do so. Very disappointed. (2018)

I wanted to send a thank you to Armondo and the guys at ancot transmission. I had just bought my '14 Infinity Q70 I drove it one day and the valve body and speed sensor set the check engine light on. I spoke with Armando on a Monday and true to his word he had the car diagnosed, fixed and ready by Friday and for the price he quoted me. I fully recommend ancot transmission to anyone who needs their car serviced. Thank you again guys cars been running beautifly.

I just called for a quote on a rebuilt transmission for a 2017?chevy Silverado 1500 z71 pick up truck. They told me between $5,000.-$5,500. What a RIP OFF Hadwin White GMC dealership is charging $6,000.FOR A BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION!!! BEFORE you even think of getting work done there price it somewhere else. AAMCO transmission in Conway only wants $4,000!!!!!!$

Armand at Ancot Transmission was better than awesome! I arrived in Myrtle Beach for a conference on Sunday with severe transmission issues. I contacted five facilities for service on Monday morning and Armand was the only one to commit to taking a look at it. He recommended Strand Towing (awesome as well) and was able to look at it by 11:00. Told him to find a rebuilt and install. He did find one on Monday by noon and get it installed, programmed and tested by Tuesday evening. Picked up truck on Wednesday morning with 3 year/100,000 mile warranty on transmission. I was able to attend all but one session of the conference and made it home on Wednesday on schedule. Thanks Armand!

Armando and his daughter were amazing! Great customer service, great prices, best options. No pressure on timing, they went above and beyond for me! I was from out of town and my transmission went out. Armando let me think about everything over the weekend and when we decided to use his services, let us keep the car there with no pressure on pick up, since I had to come back in from out of town to get the car. I’m just making the review, but 8 mon later my Lancer is still in great shape, plus he fixed my cv axle at no extra charge! Highly recommend and if I am in the area and need help again I will choose Ancot!

Armando and his staff are excellent. Both my engine and transmission needed to be replaced at the same time. Thank God it was covered under warranty. Armondo helped with the entire process. He replaced both in a very short amount of time and had me back on the road with no problems. Since then I continue to bring my vehicle to him for service: oil changes, tire rotations…everything.
