Best mechanics in town. ANR is well-run, honest, and fairly priced. The owner, Robin, always takes the time to explain things to me, gives me options when there are any, and looks for ways to save me money. I've been a client for several years and will definitely be sticking with ANR. On the point of honesty, this week Robin quoted me a dollar amount when I authorized the repair, and when it was time to pick up the car, he told me that he'd spotted a mistake in the math and the actual cost was less. When you've agreed to an amount already, what other mechanic is going to charge you less? That is one example of how ANR has earned my trust.

ANR has been my mechanic for many years and I have never been disappointed with their work. Robin, the owner/manager is, above all, honest. He always explains what was done and shows you which parts were replaced, if any. Yes, highly recommended.

I got an appraisal after the flood. He said I needed an oil change and it was about time. He told me the car was going to be ready by 2 PM and it was ready. I was able to be seen right away when I called. If you are in the area and need a quick oil change it’s a good spot. As a female I thought I would get a list of things wrong so I appreciate their honesty.

A and R auto repair and Robin, the owner were a lifesaver for us! We were visiting from Michigan and our car broke down. AAA recommended ANR to us and we now know why. They they specifically communicated our vehicle issue to us and told us exactly when they would have our car ready. They "over- delivered"to us by getting us quickly on our way efficiently and professionally. We were able to get back on the road and the cost to us was very reasonable. As business owners ourselves, we understand and no great customer service. ANR and Robin delivered above our expectations. We would definitely recommend this business to anyone and appreciate the fact that these are honest, hard-working people, that don't take advantage in a desperate situation.

I went there today because my car was making a strange noise. I asked (the owner) if someone could take a look at my car because it was making a strange noise. He abruptly cut me off saying, " I am two men down and I don't have any lifts available, it can't be until Thursday." I said, "could someone just listen to it to tell me if it's something I need to address immediately." He asked me to lift the hood and turn on the car, which I did. Immediately after, he told me to turn off the car. As I was proceeding to turn off the car he yelled at me, "I said turn it off!" I was very shocked to hear his type of tone projected at me. Then he asked me, when was the last time you got an oil change. I told him the car was not due for an oil change. He again said in a rude tone, "That's not what I am asking you. Did you get an oil change a couple of months ago, a few weeks, or a few days?" I stated, "a couple of months ago." Then in his rude tone again he states, "where do you live, where do you usually get your car service?" I told him I go to the dealer. He again in his rude tone told me, "you need to go back to them to look at it," and then walked off. I don't know what this man's problem was or why he feels he can speak to me like he's talking to his child, but that is unacceptable and bad customer service. I would expect better from a businessman dealing with a customer. Don't pick and choose which customer you are going to deal with in a professional manner. He needs to realize that you must treat each customer with respect and be mindful how you talk to them. I know one thing is for sure, I will never go back there again or recommend anyone to this facility.

I went on Saturday because my car wouldn’t start. It turns out that it was my starter. Robin was nice and accommodating to me. He took his time out and explained to me what was wrong with my car and showed me. I really appreciate his honesty and he saved my car. My engine oil was dripping on to my starter and this mechanic saved me from a bigger problem in the future. Robins assistant (I didn’t get his name) also listened to my concerns and he was able to discover the problem with the shifting of my car. All in all it was a great experience and I will be back again. I love that they are honest, friendly and reasonable. That’s hard to come by nowadays!

Excellent customer service, Robin gave me a detailed inspection report and the tune-up was quick. I told Robin this is my first time owning a hybrid car, Toyota Prius. He took time out of his day to show me different functions of the car and how to efficiently operate it on the road.
