I pre-purchased the oil change/ maintenance package with the purchase of my truck (new). This overall goes fine.
My driver’s side seat heater stopped working 3.5 years into owning my truck. I called Ford Service Center, but whomever I got was just not helpful- they couldn’t tell me if was covered by my new vehicle warranty, couldn’t reassure me that it would be covered, a bit dismissive (I didn’t want to pay the expensive diagnostic fee much less the fee to fix if it wasn’t covered), wasn’t helpful with telling me who my warranty was through nor putting me in touch/contact info for them). I decided just to not fix-want worth it for a seat heater on a fairly new truck. I decided this place wasn’t worth my time and when my pre-purchased maintenance plan ran out I was done at this service center. Months later I decided to give it one more shot and happened to get Billy Dale Hummel. He was extremely helpful and gave me the info i needed though it wasn’t even his job, and he even called the warranty company with me on the phone and we verified it would be covered. From there he handled my case with the utmost professionalism and friendliness. The job was done well and no out of pocket costs for me. I’ll come back to athens Ford as long as I’m working with Billy Dale-great guy and hopefully can bring along the other staff or cull out any sub par employees. Thank you Billy Dale!

I rate this poorly for several reasons.
I dropped my car off at exactly 8:58 am today.
I know up front it would take approximately 2 hours for the service to be completed, I was fine with that.
I left the car and got a ride, I was contact a little after 11 stating that some suggested services needing my attention on the car.
I didn’t have the funds to proceed with the additional services.
I was told that they will notify the techs and I’ll get a call when the car was ready.
Well let’s just say I NEVER GOT A CALL and I decided to contact the tech that I received a text
from stating that if I have any questions about my car to reach out to him. I don’t want to leave names but I can if needed to prove anything.
I called the number I received the text from and it said I reached an invalid number. But I got my credit card receipt sent to it. Make it make sense. And I didn’t type the number I just selected to just call the number since I didn’t get a reply from the text I sent.
I really really don’t feel I’m appreciated as a customer, sadly this isn’t the first time I’ve left negative reviews. I continue to take my car to Ford because ITS A FORD BUILT EXPEDITION.
AFTER GETTING MY CAR BACK I THEN HAD TO GO AND ASK FOR AN UPDATED “Next Appointment “ sticker for my car so that I can keep up with the next oil change.
At this point I’m so ready to take it to my local mechanic for all my services.
This is beyond frustrating and unacceptable, and NO I’m not looking for anything from FORD. They’ve offered me Gift Certificates for my inconvenience before. But seriously who knows my car better than FORD.
The only reason I keep going back. But that too will change.

If it were possible to give zero stars I would. I very rarely write negative review, so listen up.
Scheduled via the Ford App to drop my truck off for oil change and tire rotation Saturday at noon.
Received a call at 12:55 with technician suggestions, declined those and opted to only have oil change and tire rotation. Was told I would receive a call when the truck was ready.
Around 4:50 or so I start calling and get no answer. My lovely girlfriend took me to Athens Ford, where I was informed they closed and everyone was gone and there is no way for them to tell me anything about what’s going on.
I didn’t throw a fit or have a tantrum, I calmly left, got a few things out of my truck and left. That’s right I had the second key with me and could have taken the truck but then don’t want anyone thinking it’s stolen.
So now I’m without a vehicle for work Monday and for my second job Monday evening. Not sure how I’m supposed to possibly pick the vehicle up until maybe next Thursday.
I hope to goodness someone has some great answers for me on Monday…
Update: A post was made on a local social media platform. The issue was resolved and the truck was delivered to my house within about an hour. Raising my review to 3 stars.

Working with this dealership makes me question going to any dealer for service. Quote did not include all the labor of the repair. Service Rep would go days before he would return calls or I could reach him on the phone. One of the updates was that the mechanic did not work on my vehicle the day before because he "did not have time". Repair took twice as long expected with no calls to me about this change or WHY. Service rep was not honest with a test that was needing to be done for a repair that is not even possible after talking to another Ford shop and checking repair manuals. When they completed the repair, half of the WHOLE reason for bringing it to them was not fixed because "it was not mentioned" while it was on the original work order.

Athens Ford refuses to support their Drive Train Warranty. It is actually something they purchase from a third party. When the third party insurer pushes back, Athens Ford does not support their customer.

Service manager was supposed to get me price and parts ordered for daughters mustang motor mounts. Never did and never called me back. She had issue with caliper locking after brake job. Went back replaced caliper and hose. They were supposed to replace pads and rotor under warranty. Replaced hose and turned rotor instead of replacing. Did not replace pads. Called service manager and have yet to have phone call returned.
