Two Mechanics (Fernando and Junior) came across the street to help with an odd problem. We had a kitten stuck in an engine bay and couldn't get it out. Jr ran back to get a floor jack, lifted the car, took off the under cover and helped us get the kitten out. He went above and beyond. He also refused any payment or lunch. He was caring, knowledgeable and honest. So much so that I'm tempted to bring my cars here going forward even though I don't live in the area. Thank you Jr!

This team is so helpful! And so kind! Family vibes :) They squeezed me in EVEN with how busy they were and helped me resolve the issue with my bus. They identified it so quickly & easily. This is the only place that I will take my cars. I’m clueless about cars and they could had completely ripped me off. I took it in because my car turned off and wouldn’t start. I had no idea what was wrong with it and they were completely honest. The little thing that tells you when you are out of gas had broken. Fernando put some diesel and didn’t charge me anything. They could had easily lied about my car having problems but instead they were honest. I highly recommend them.

Honest, competent, thorough and moderate prices. Fernando and Fernando Jr. don’t need glowing reviews - they are always busy. I recommend you call ahead and schedule an appt. Although they are diesel specialists they’ve expertly serviced my gas vehicles. My most recent visit involved an unusual intermittent brake problem with my '99 Suburban. My wife had taken it in several times to a competitor (M,M&J) that told us there was "nothing wrong." A&D's mechanics personally tested it from a cold start, inspected everything, re-tested, and ultimately replaced some worn parts that proved to be the cause. They worked on getting to the bottom of the issue with multiple test drives, inspections and ultimately a rebuild of the rear brakes. Only charged me two hours labor and minimal parts. Truck performs like new now. They may not be able to fix every issue, but they will work on your vehicle like it is their own.

Brought my Ford E450 mini bus here a few months ago. It had been not running for months before I bought it, but a battery and oil change got it running so I figured I'd take it to a reputable shop to get a full health check. Called on a friday, was told to bring it the following Wednesday. I brought it in and was told without anyone looking at anything that they didn't know what they could do for me if it was running fine now..... OK. They checked computer codes and cleared out a few, said it was fine. Well, I knew I needed a fuel filter because the mobile mechanic couldn't do that when he replaced the batteries and oil, so I insisted they do it. Fine, they do it, 45 minutes later they say good to go. I could not believe my eyes at an almost $300 bill for a $40 part. Who knew a shop could charge $200 an hour in labor and get away with it? NEXT DAY I go to get a SMOG check and the tech tells me I have a pretty bad oil leak. Now, I can't say whether or not I had the leak before visiting A&E because I didn't check or notice it by chance. The bus had been broken down until a few days before, and an oil leak could definitely have contributed to it breaking down (I bought it broken). However, A&D should have noticed it if they had done due diligence to inspect my bus like I asked when I brought it in, rather than rushing me out the door as fast as possible because they were super busy. Yes, they're always busy. To your detriment, if you aren't a regular or an acquaintance.

Fernando is an EXCELLENT mechanic and person. He is VERY friendly and hospitable. Fernando repaired my transmission about 4 years ago. Today, even though they are busy, Fernando took my vehicle in to diagnose the malfunction. The front desk girl was likewise friendly and accommodating. This is a 5 star Auto & Diesel repair shop.

I was referred to this shop and thought I would be in good hands. They did not do what the contract stated they did one out of three things that were supposed to be done I was charged $1000 for a $500 dollar job. Never will I return or recommend anyone. If asked about the service it would be a no go to shop period. Another thing is they use a lot of recycled parts maybe that's why my old parts were never returned.

These guys were great! Super nice receptionist too! She told me come on in and they would take a quick look at my very rare Classic Mercedes Diesel wagon and did not even charge me. Got some valuable information and I will be back when they are not busy! Imagine finding a busy shop that will take time out of their day just to give you a little information! Highly recommend! 5 plus stars, you pay for what you get. Fernando has alot of knowledge in diesels. He is honest, trustworthy and knows his stuff! I should of came to him in the first place for my transfer case issue. He took care of my issue in a few days, that I was battling for almost 18 months. I will be continuing my business here. I took my Ford Expedition in for engine repair, and they kept it for quite a while. They initially parked it on the street, and it received a parking ticket. Later, they moved it across the street to a commercial property, and it ended up getting towed. I had to pay $900.00 to retrieve my vehicle from the tow yard.
