I'm just finding out that these people deceived my daughter and I. My daughter's tire was having issues. Once they checked the tire out, they said that she needed a patch. Paid for a patch and fast forward 2 months later today, they lied! Come to find out, they never put a patch on the tire at all. They couldn't find a hole so instead of telling us the truth, they charged for a patch that was never put on! They are dishonest and some theives. I will never trust them to touch my vehicle. Wish there was a way to not put any stars.

So December 2023...I brought my 2008 Tahoe to this place for a engine REBUILD...so they were able to assist me with the task.................................a one year warranty was on the REBUILT motor...ran out in December 2024...no major issues driving with the motor.................one week before the Woodward Dream Cruise 2025 the motor decided to blow up AGAIN....no warning signs. So upon further investigation....a trusted shop found the motor was NOT REBUILT.... MAYBE... MAYBE a gasket was changed...so I paid more $6k for a motor that was NOT rebuilt at all ... nothing inside was changed, also ...( I'm still paying on it I had to finance repair because it was urgent I get back on the road for work) for a rebuild....or I'm sorry a salvage motor that they didn't even bother to even rebuild... which I was promised. So something failed in the motor probably a component that was already aged broke and that piece of metal fell in the motor and took out the camshaft and destroyed everything else inside. And that's not all .... after my last warranty oil change I took it to a trusted oil change shop because I didn't have to to do the oil change myself...the shop found my oil drain plug was rounded off and it wasn't in my oil pan all the way leaking for who knows how long.. and NOT ONCE DID ANY MECHANIC at Goodyear even tell me about it all ... That could have contributed to the motor failing. I also took my truck to them for a fuel leak mid 2024 .. turned out it was a line rusted for the fuel pump. I was told I had to get gas tank and pump replaced because the pump was seized in the tank...so they replaced it.....a few days later....I'm in Rochester hills....I noticed something hanging from the bottom. One of the straps holding the gas tank actually came down ready to fall off. So rather risk the ENTIRE GAS TANK falling...I limp it home and take it to a local mechanic to at least secure it (cost was $20 or so I think) so myself and no one else is hurt. And he tightened them up.... however NONE of the straps we tight like they should have been. So I go back to Goodyear and inform them and I the lady at the front desk....worst customer service.. instead showing concern first thing to come out her mouth: "why didn't you bring it back to us" and "are you sure we did it"........no I explained where I was when the strap was lose ....it would have been a 40 minute drive to get to their shop....all FREEWAY...I wasn't going to risk that. And when I asked for reimbursement (the $20 or whatever) ... basically I was told "no because we're stingey" the lady behind the desk was not going to refund me....and I had basically almost fight with rest of the staff to get my refund. So when I confronted them about my motor failing again... They told me the afv (active fuel management) motor should have been showing signs of failing....vaild answer....BUT IF THE MOTOR WAS REBUILT THIS SHOULD NOT BEEN AN ISSUE... because it should have been replaced with original motor. And they told me they can't help me because I didn't bring it back to them to fix the motor... because ya they were so honest with me before. Ya avoid this place and I want a refund for the first "rebuild" because they didn't even do the job I was promised and paid for. Ya I would not go here FOR ANYTHING

They did a great job. Especially, the female manager. She was very knowledgeable. My rear door to my Ram 1500 would open from the inside or outside. They repaired it and explain what they were doing.

I purchased a vehicle from a Dealer lot that they do the maintenance on the cars I was told that the vehicle was fully serviced After Driving the vehicle for 24 hours the check engine light came on not only did it come on. It was also blinking for four months. I dealt with this shop back-and-forth, keeping in my car for days at a time only to be told after four months that if the problem happens again they didn't want anything to do with it. I asked several times for some type of documentation stating what was done to the vehicle. I was told because the dealership was paying for the car that they could not give me anything I didn't asked for maybe a paper where you just wrote it down what was changed on what side again I was given nothing needless To say the car check engine light came back on when I took it to a different shop. I was told that I needed a can shaft and lifters done on the vehicle, which is two things that this shop claim to have fixed once the mechanic actually got to look at it my camshaft was broken in half and glued together with gasket glue. There is also a bolt in my head gasket. I asked them several times About the noise that I was hearing They claim I needed an oil change however it was the bolt in my head, gas, causing that noise. These people don't give them your money. They will screw you over and talk to you like trash.

Enjoyed Jamie very sweet lady. They gave me a free inspection & I came in with a tire leak they plugged it though it took 2 hours so I watched t.v on their big flat screen then she came & gave me my estimate & it was 2700. Ouch well I'm not surprised it's a 2007 Buick never needed much work so I guess over time these problems appear but sucks since i just paid 900.for a muffler & reservoir then got scammed the guy who owned the place on gratiot & 8 mile just spray painted my muffler & put a Chrysler reservoir on it man you gotta watch out for scammers then when I picked it up my brakes went out my brake line went so another 250.00 but I went somewhere else that's how I found out he scammed me 900 I'm a female so go figure. Anyway if you do need work done I suggest get a second opinion. This place seemed honest & I'm gonna consider having some work done when Christmas is over. Thanks to Jamie because she was very sweet & offered to take me & show me what's wrong with my car not to many shops offer that

Warning to the public – proceed with caution I initially brought my vehicle in for a complete brake and rotor replacement on all four wheels, which cost approximately $2,000. After a follow-up inspection at Auto Masters Goodyear, I was advised to replace the rear struts and shocks. I specifically asked the mechanic whether the front and rear needed to be replaced at the same time, and I was told no, that the front struts were in good enough condition to wait. I was hesitant, but after being pushed to move forward, I agreed to the rear repair and spent an additional $2,700. Less than five days later, I returned with the same issue, and at that point I was told I now needed the front struts and shocks as well, which would have been another $2,700. Had I been told upfront that both front and rear struts needed to be replaced to resolve the issue, I would have made a different decision. Instead, the repairs were piecemealed, resulting in significant expense without resolving the problem. In addition, I requested printed receipts for the services performed because I needed documentation for my tax preparer and Internal Revenue reporting. The business refused to provide printed receipts, which further raised concerns about transparency and documentation, especially given the total amount charged. I’m sharing this so other customers can ask very clear questions and make informed decisions before agreeing to major repairs.

I wanted to leave a fair and honest review because while the repair was eventually completed, the overall process was extremely drawn out and poorly managed. I first brought my car in on December 31st and didn’t get it fully repaired and returned until mid-January. During that time, I experienced repeated delays, missed completion timelines, and inconsistent communication. On more than one occasion I was told the work would be finished the same day, only to find out later that it wasn’t. The biggest issue was that the shop ordered the wrong catalytic converter and cut the original part off before confirming the replacement was correct, leaving my car inoperable while waiting on another part. This significantly extended the repair timeline and left me without my vehicle for days longer than expected. To their credit, the warranty ultimately covered the repairs, and the shop did provide a vehicle so I wasn’t completely stranded. Once everything was approved, the work was completed and I didn’t have any out-of-pocket costs. I do appreciate that effort. That said, the lack of accurate timelines, incorrect part ordering, and overall coordination made this a much more stressful and time-consuming experience than it should have been. Even accounting for warranty approvals and parts delays, this repair should not have taken as long as it did. This shop may be fine for very straightforward work, but based on my experience, I would be cautious using them for more complex repairs where planning, communication, and follow-through really matter.

Outstanding service at Goodyear! Martin worked on my car and did an excellent job—professional, efficient, and clearly knowledgeable. Justin handled all of the paperwork and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The best part was that they had my car back to me in less than 24 hours, which I really appreciated. Great communication, fast turnaround, and top-notch customer service. Highly recommend asking for Martin and Justin!
