Seems a little sketchy for an import lot... Looked at a beautiful Benz and when I started it up- the interior immediately filled with thick smoke from the engine! The owner/manager played it off like "Oh- it's fine! It just hasn't been started in a while..." Yeah, okay... π Thanks, but no thanks. Dodged a bullet if you ask me... Two stars because the vehicles look good... Update to Owner's Response- Thank you for taking the time to respond, Steve. I did look at vehicles with you and what I shared did take place. You did not offer to have it looked at- you simply brushed it off and downplayed the smoke (attributing it to not being started in "a while"). There is no agenda - I am an honest local consumer/reviewer who likes to help others like myself with unbiased comments. Trying to discredit my review is somewhat understandable when an unfavorable experience is shared, however, unfortunately this was my honest experience with you and your business.

I purchased an A4 from Steve and after four years I still haven't received a legit title. Lots excuses and blaming others. Now Steve will not return my phone calls. Possibly I purchased a stolen car or one that was on consignment in Pennsylvania and was sold out the back door. I have spent many hours on the phone trying to get a title that is clean from Pennsylvania but Steve must obtain the title first as he purchase the car from Pennsylvania and Steve has been zero help. I see a lot of people love the place. I am glad they had a good experience.

Wanted to buy a car from Steve who told us he would get back to us shortly. After waiting a entire day with no return phone call he sends me a text saying he would call shortly after finishing with another customer. Again we waited and no call. We ended up finding a better deal where we were treated as if our business mattered. If the service was this bad prior to buying a car imagine after they had our money! Search around because making a purchase as big as a car you want a piece of mind on the quality of service after the fact.

I do not recommend buying a car from Auto Motion, I made the mistake of doing so almost a year ago and still have not received my title. Last year I bought a Volvo XC90 from Steve. Had a good experience day-of, it was written into the purchase agreement that he would send me struts for the liftgate and tabs, and that was that. Well, fast-forward a couple weeks and I received nothing in the mail, he wouldn't answer my calls, and so I had my husband call so it came from a different number. He told him everything would be in the mail that Tuesday, but again nothing came. Didn't receive a response until I sent an email saying I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau, then he finally answered me and sent me what he promised. Now it's 10 months later and I still have not received my title. Found out from DVS there's a "dealer conditional" on it so Steve needs to do something to get that cleared before the state can send me my title. I called him, he put me off a couple days, in which I kept following up when I didn't hear back from him after he said I would, and finally he said he knew exactly what the problem was and that I'd get my title in the mail. This was a lie, I called DVS and the conditional is still on there, and he won't answer my calls or texts. I've contacted the DVS Dealer Unit, and he won't answer their calls either. Now I'm stuck with a car with no title. Bottom line, do what I wish I'd done and listen to the reviews before you go here.

LOVE LOVE LOVE AUTO MOTIONS. STEVE IS THE BEST, HANDS DOWN!!! I don't like payments and all so I brought a Audi from them a year ago and lost it to my own carelessness. I came back this year, however this time I NEEDED to do financing and payments and I NEEDED a car. My credit is not bad but not good either. Steve was still able to work with me. I recently purchased a car from Steve and the whole buying experience was very enjoyable. Because we liked the experience my husband decided to let them service his vehicle. Tim was helpful and knowledgeable. It's the first time in awhile we felt like we could trust a garage. Some of the reviews are correct in that they aren't the best or most prompt at returning phone calls but they make up for it with the most important things when looking to buy a vehicle or garage.

My Mercedes C63 needed an replacement and i was looking around for the best shop to do the job due to the complexity of the engine. I decided to go with Automotion and i was greeted with respect when i walked in the door from the guys there. They made the process simple, all i had to do was drop off the vehicle and wait until its completed. They found a tow truck to pick my vehicle from my location to their shop. They were able to source the best engine they could find with a low mileage and i was up and running in no time. Paul went above and beyond by working on my engine from morning to night to make sure everything is assemble correctly when the engine was out. Excellent Customer Service.

I bought a 2005 A4 back in December of 2016. It only had a 1 key fob steve told me we would get it taken care of. When we went to Audi they were lost, one call to Steve and I gave him a number to call and he took care of everything. My wife really appreciated it. We stopped by the shop and after talking to Tim he came out and topped off all the fluids in the car. Both guys seem like they care about the customers. I just put in a new thermostat and radiator in my car and now my A/C is not working. I have no problem going back for service. Just need time. We are looking to get a new Q7 or something that size for my wife and this will be the first place we go. Thanks for everything you guys did. Allan & Stacy Sapp I am going to update my post because I canβt add a new review, todays date 5/30/18. We just bought a 2007 Q7 and traded in the A4. We went here first Steve worked out the deal so it worked. Last night coming home in the storm our wiper arm broke off. I sent an email to Steve and he stepped up right away splitting the cost with us this is Outstanding customers service in my mind. The owner thanked us for coming back and how he appreciated our business. In the next couple of years we will be looking for a A4 or A6 and Steve will be my first call. Thanks Allan and Stacy Sapp New update as of 11/4/18!!! My wife and I bought our second car from this place in May. We got a 2007 Audi Q7. When we bought it the rear gate was not working properly and the rear seat belts were broken. They were also going to get us another key. This was written in the contract. We dropped the car off at there shop in mid August and got it back on 10/3 after 5 weeks. None of the repairs were done. The rear gate still doesnβt work and the rear seat belts had new housing glued and tape on around them. The one seat belt did not even latch. I messaged Steve and he said they will make it right. I told him at this point I would like to take it to Audi, he agreed. I went to Audi and got the cost of the key and looking at the gate. And have sent 4 emails and 2 text messages to Steve to make sure he was ok with the cost with no return. Also I ordered the seat belts on eBay and fixed them myself for 50 bucks. Again this is our second car we have gotten from Steve and we would have gotten another one. I have given this place a 5 star rating in the past. So thatβs why I am writing this now. Very sad that over $500 of work they are willing to loose a good customer. I am still hoping that Steve will come through. Allan

Updateβ¦. lol these guys said they replaced 2 batteries In a SL55 I boughtβ¦turns out low voltage. Tried charging me $1700 after I bought the vehicle. (They said they replaced the batteries which they never did) Nothing works yet In the convertible. Paid $19k for absolute garbage. Top wont closeβ¦ Just a bunch of con artists. They donβt know what the hell is going on. Stay away from the frauds! Took it to Feldmans, fixed it and sold with a loss. STAY AWAY from this corrupt business . I will be reporting them!

Ended up checking these guys out after finding a few 330xi's on their lot. Best trade in value offered on compared to other dealerships. Steve was very personal and professional and was in no way pushy. He even took care of transferring the registration my new car and updating the tabs for me. Had a couple hiccups as far as my new car didnt have the fresh oil change so Steve had me get one and he took care of the costs. There were some hiccups as far as getting the refund back to me for the oil change but the communication was there and i had no worries about getting it. Overall great experience and my 335ix is running great. Update: recently I had my valve cover crack, and needed to be replaced. I purchased the warranty and went back for to Auto motion for the repairs. I was in contact with Tim last week and set up an appt to have it done. Upon arrival I learned their was a delay in the previous appt but to make up for it I would recieve the oil change for free. The warranty covered the repairs as was told when buying the car. Saved me over a thousand dollars. Well worth the purchase, thanks again Steve and Tim.

I recently purchased a 2011 BMW 335xi in May with my father. This was the first time I've ever bought a vehicle from a dealership, and I could only hope that others are like this. The car had tire noise and they got me new tires for a really good price and diagnosed problems with the car for free and even offered to change the differential fluid if that was the problem. This has been the funnest car I have ever owned and surprisingly not many problems for a bmw with 145k miles. The car came with a few modifications and is very, very fast and I do not regret my purchase for one second especially because I got it from automotion and they made the experience very great. Have bought my last two cars here and both have been amazing to own! Audi owner for life here, as long as you know about maintenance and donβt avoid the basics, Iβve put 100k mi on the most recent purchase here with only needing to do brakes and tires, zero engine lights or issues whatsoever! Have driven Audi vehicles from Steve here for the last five or six years and have never regretted it one day! Donβt buy any German car expecting to avoid maintenance costs, and donβt buy and ignore or delay routine or scheduled services, Iβve taken both cars I got here to 200k mi, including the notoriously expensive to maintain 2004 2.7 twin turbo - which I returned in amazing condition for its age. See you for my next one when the time is right!

I purchased a Mercedes December 30 2025. I paid in full. In all fairness I like the car. It is now February 9th. I have messaged several times to find out when I would get my plates. I've been blown off and ignored. I went to the dmv and they said the title wasn't transfered. The dmv lady called the dealer and he said that he had just gotten some paperwork and he would get it done "today". Minnesota allows 20 days for the dealer to transfer the title. So that's one law broken. The dmv lady was kind enough to write down the website and phone number to call if I need to report the dealer.
