Inspection was an overall quick process. Customer service was terrible. I arrived at opening and walked in after first technician. I could barely get his attention with all the laughter/conversation happening on his Bluetooth. I see from previous comments that this isn't the first time he has ignored a customer to finish his conversation. I initially say good morning I am trying to get an inspection; he just stares at me. Literally like pulling teeth to get him to give more than one-word answers. Just a rude and unwelcoming experience. This will be my last visit at this location.

Great place! Great prices. I have done a lot of work control arm, tires: mount & balance aglinment and state inspection on my ram the past 3 months and haven't spent more than 200 bucks total for all tools and machinery.

Press is accessible & operational. Press races were not available - be prepared to bring your own or a substitution will have to do. $4/hr for "Bemchwork"; Not sure if this shop has half hr rates.

I dropped this place down to 1 star only because the facility is there and also it's the lowest rating you can give. The staff is alarmingly rude. Chris appears to be the lead guy. He's absolutely useless and acts as if patrons are a bother. There is also Teletubby, usually behind the counter, that invariably has a miserable, disgusted look on his face and makes interaction a chore. Hey, if one isn't satisfied with their job for whatever reason, maybe consider finding another one. DIY is a fun hobby, but the staff here do their very best to detract from it.

Located on Langley Air Force Base only small group of people will be able to us this information. This place is great. Everything you need to work on your vehicle. Open bays, lift bays, everything is there. You can bring your own tools or use some of their tools. Last time I changed oil and filters on my truck and my wife's Expedition in less than an hour. No crawling on the ground anymore for me. They have a used oil disposal tank no running around looking for a way to get rid of it. I will be going back to work on my vehicle all of the time. If you have the ability to get on the base I recommend you give this place a try.

Less than acceptable customer service. Had only one lift that I was able to put my truck on. The others were used by there staff. This is the dirtiest hobby shop In my 31 yr career and 10 yes of retirement. Would rather change the oil in my yard.

What a joke of an inspection experience, the new inspector makes his own rules about what he will and will not passes and blindly ignores state guidance, and then he stops the inspection after finding one thing forcing you to waste multiple trips and time. And the whole time he treats you in a very condescending manner. Would never reccommend to anyone to go here for an inspection.

Good prices for the service, but Chris is about as useful as a deaf-mute trying to navigate out of the forest. Incredibly rude and can't help with the most basic of requests: checking a schedule to see if someone's available for work. Would rather pay someone else to do the work than this lot.

Never changed tires on my own car before, only aircraft tires, however the principle is the same. The staff here helped me out and I was in and out in an hour. Great place to learn and meet folks just bring a good attitude. They also offer class on how to do oil changes and other maintenance if you want to learn. So learn and save yourself some money.

This place is trash and if it wasn't so convenient I would never come here. The phone is broken but even when it works they won't call to update customers. 0 customer service and seams like everyone that works here has an attitude or is a know it all "expert". Dark, dirty, rude. Overall experience is somehow more uncomfortable than a rectal exam.

This is the 6th auto skills center I've been to and by far it is the worst. It's filthy and dark. The lifts are old and lack variety. Other military auto skills shops have different kinds of lifts to accommodate different types of vehicles and maintenance needs. Quite disappointing because I like to do most of my own stuff.

Took my car in for a state inspection and repair. Was instructed to drop it off for service. Upon checking in my car, Tommy was rude and unprofessional. Although he was the mechanic assigned to my car, he seemed highly agitated that I had dropped it off; exclaiming that he works by appointment only and "might" get to it because he's busy and off on Thursday. That attitude lost him business. I'd rather go elsewhere. I don't deal with mechanics with a bad attitude. Will never be returning here and won't be recommending.

One of the worst auto skills I’ve ever been to. Absolutely do NOT get your inspection done here, the inspector makes appointments, forgets about it, reschedules when you show up etc. ICE complaints go nowhere, don’t waste your time.

Auto skill shop that allows you to work on your own vehicle for $7.00 an hour. The shop has around 12 to 14 bay doors with a variety of different lifts to help get the job done. In the past, I haven't had the best experience with some employees who came across as rude and unhelpful. There are new staff members that are courteous and polite that are willing to answer your questions and help when asked. The shop can be a bit dirty at times, but it's a mechanics shop. People spill different fluids and don't often clean up their mess or throw away their used items and leave them for the next customer. As far as the lighting goes, there are lights. It's not the brightest place, but you can still see. If you need more light, simply open up a bay door to your left or right.

Great group of guys working there. Tools on hand and great space for little and big jobs. Can't beat it for the rental space on a service members' DIY budget. I did my front brakes in under an hour and didn't want for anything. Thanks again!

"Great experience getting my VA state inspection done here. The staff is knowledgeable and the service was quick. At $20, it’s a convenient and affordable option for anyone with base access. Definitely my go-to spot for annual inspections at Langley!"
