My husband and I took a vehicle here for repairs after his accident. He picked it up after the repairs without looking it over first. I’m going to cut right to the case and tell you that on top of not repairing all of the issues THAT WERE THE RESULT OF THE ACCIDENT they did additional damage to it. They did not fix it and tried saying that it was preexisting damage. He had just purchased this car AND had an inspection done on it prior to the accident. After he wrote a review detailing what happened he received a call from a representative. They said that they don’t think he would have been happy no matter what they did. It’s true we definitely were not happy with having additional damage after picking it up. We definitely were not happy that they were not corrected. They have horrible customer service and unethical business practices. I’ve had several cars that have needed repairs throughout the years and have never experienced anything like this.

I took my car to be repaired after an accident. I went over very carefully all of my concerns. When I went to pick up my car they asked for payment and I asked to see my car first and they told me no need. During my ride home I became aware of the first issue; my door speakers were not working and my touch screen for my controls was only half working. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my speakers or radio when I dropped it off. The noise was also still there when turning my wheel. Upon reaching home I discovered more issues. The drivers side mirror had been repainted over the dirt and dead bugs. There is a box with cables inside my door that is not properly set. Because they had me pick up my car at the end of the day on Friday I had to wait until Monday to address my concerns. On Monday after talking with the manager he said he needed to get authorization from my insurance to fix everything. First off these things were supposed to be fixed the first time around and on top of my existing damage they caused more damage to my vehicle! Now they expect me to go through my insurance to fix something that worked fine when I dropped it off. Long story short, they never fixed my mirror or my screen or the noise which ended up being a tie rod.(keep in mind I had just had a mechanical inspection of my vehicle within the month and there were no issues) I would think twice about having any work done through this business. I will never take another vehicle here again.

I would not recommend this shop. Despite scheduling two months out, we still had to wait on parts. Our van was expected back in a week and it took almost three. The communication throughout the process was poor unless I stopped in for an update. The ladies at the front desk were rude and I always felt like I was bothering them.
I did enjoy working with our estimator, he was a friendly guy and I know most of this was not his fault.

Bear with me, this spans over 4 months.
My first experience with autobody was in April of 2024. I had gotten hit by a deer and came for repairs on that. During this time they were kind and updated me pretty often and I was fairly happy with that. Then I received my car back. No estimator came out to do a walk around with me so I took photos of places I noticed didn’t look right. (over spray and bubbles on a door that was painted, weather stripping to my driver door leaked, whatever they cleaned my interior with stained it, etc). Just for a little more context they repaired my rear drivers side door, drivers door, and front fender. I brought my concerns to their attention where they gladly said I could come back in and they’d take a look. When I did, I had actually gotten hit by a lawnmower so now there was new damage (bad luck lol). Anyway, a different guy than had been doing my car prior came out to take a look on the warranty work with me. He proceeded to only focus on the new damage (which I had a separate appointment for) and I felt like he didn’t listen when I told him I was there for the warranty work from my deer accident. They ended up scheduling me for the following week for an estimate and to go over issues from the prior repair with my regular guy who had been doing all my estimates and scheduling since April. So I get a day off from work and show up on my day of appointment. When I walk in the receptionist says he (the guy I had an appointment with) was at a completely different branch that day. Mind you, I had a scheduled appointment a week in advance, no one called me not even him to tell me they would need to reschedule my appointment. They were able to get me in that same week, I had to take off more work but it ended up being ok. At this point I don’t even care about the warranty work I just want the dent from the lawn mower fixed. So we begin getting estimates on that, I tell the guy the story how I was babysitting and their son backed into my car with their lawn mower and how they would be making the payments for the repairs on the lawn mower damage. He tells me the damage was to my hood, fender, and door. I asked at the time all this is from the lawnmower (because the people paying asked me to ask) and the guy said yes and even explained to me how the lawnmower pushed the fender up into the hood causing a hinge dent in it. So we proceed with repairing all 3. As they’re in the process of repairing I get a call that they need to replace my hood entirely. This was significantly more price wise so I asked again to confirm that all this was from the lawnmower and not previous damage. He then tells me no the hood is not from the lawnmower. So all I say (again) is only repair the damage caused by the lawnmower. Then it gets to be a day and a half past when I was told I could pick up my car. My car wise hasn’t updated so I call to see what’s going on since I have heard anything. I was transferred then sent to voice mail (which happened almost everytime I called). Luckily I had his personal phone so I sent a quick message asking for an update. He then tells me he was permanently transferred and is no longer in charge of my car or estimates. Again no on called, no one updated me, so I had no idea who I was supposed to be contacting or when i would get my car back. Then the following day I get a call saying they lost the keys to my car. That’s not a big deal but my estimated completion moved from Monday-Friday. They did give me their shop car to drive in the meantime and even let me take it until the following Monday because I was out of town Friday-Monday. The work on my car this time did look very good although I never got the mistakes repaired from the initial deer hit.
Take this review as you want, this is just matter of fact what happened to me.

I decided to use Autobody USA Westside based on reviews and family having a great experience with them. Our vehicle was brought to Autobody USA on 7/9 for an evaluation, and we were quoted with an anticipated completion date of 7/25 by Gary. Unfortunately, following that initial quote, updates were vague and only received if I called multiple times and got Gary directly. On 7/24 I called to ensure that my vehicle would be ready on 7/25, and I was notified that it should be ready by 7/31. On 7/30 I called again to confirm that my vehicle would be ready for pickup, and was again told that the deadline would be pushed back to 8/6. On 8/5 I called to confirm that my vehicle would be ready for pickup, and I was informed that Gary no longer worked at this location and was directed to Eric. Eric was very professional and apologetic, and let me know that there is no excuse for these delays, and that the new completion date of 8/9 to complete additional paint and alignment work. On 8/8, I called to confirm that the vehicle would be complete on 8/9, and Eric informed me that they still needed to order a part and install it, and the new anticipated completion date is now 8/16. Eric has been very professional since taking over for Gary; however, during this process, I have never been called to be updated about my car or the ever changing completion date, the estimate has doubled from 6k to 12k, I have exhausted my insurance’s rental car coverage, and I still don’t have my vehicle back a month later (and counting).

I received exemplary service in 2023 after my vehicle was hit and severely damaged. Eric was excellent at providing updates on the status of the repairs and searching for a part nationwide during a part shortage. The individuals who did the repair work did an excellent job! The front desk staff were always super friendly. Additional service provided by an Autobody staff member, Arick, today was top-notch. I asked for a quote on a simple autobody dynamic and left with a quick fix at no charge. The ethical, trustworthy, professional services I received from Autobody USA were much appreciated! Thank you!

I just want to thank Jason Cosby for everything he did to make my car look like new. My car was there longer than expected, I think it may have fallen through the cracks, but I understand it happens. But Jason, the general manager got on it and went above and beyond expectations. Helluva employee and dedicated to customer satisfaction!
