We were traveling from Florida back to Arkansas and broke down in Jackson. This man came out after hours and fixed us up. It was our fuel pump and he was amazing. He wasted no time and got us back on the road. Highly recommend him. Thank you so much. God bless you

Was passing through Jackson from Florida headed to AZ and had a mechanic look at my car the previous day in FL because my car would quit accelerating while I was on the hwy and was told everything was fixed. By the time I got to Jackson it quit accelerating again after already spending money on having that "fixed"! I had called 6 different mechanics and shops and no one could help me I was stuck in a state where I didn't know anyone on the side of the road with 3 kids. Got ahold of these guys and the guy came out really quickly, figured out the real problem and had us back on the road with no more issues. Thank God for him because I couldnt take my car breaking down again. Runs perfect now and we made it home safe. Definitely would give more stars if I could!

I can honestly say this as guy Herman Dawson has scam me. Back in July of 2017 I took him my 2002 Chevy impala Ls so it could be fix. He ask for a small upfront fee so he could get started on it. I gave Herman $140 up upfront and a hour later I texts him stating that this is what I gave you out of your $300 you charge me to fix my car and you new balance was $160 so he never text back to accept the upfront fee. Weeks went by an he still didn't start on my car so I reach out to him about it and he stated he had alot going own so I understand that he was a busy guy so I left it alone. A few weeks later he text me stating that he needed additional $250 dollars for pressure washing the motor cause he didn't know it wash that extreme I thought how was that hard to do when I supply all the engine cleaner, so I came up with the $250 and only gave him $200 dollars in kept the rest so in can add it to the $160 i owe him. After I have him that money he told me my car would be finish that following Tuesday and I call and texts him over and over he still didn't answer I seen him active on facebook and sent him messages he would read them but not reply back at all. I knew than something was wrong. A few months has pass by in still no call or text from Herman so I decided to go by his home on Combs street located in South Jackson,Ms and my car was gone I started to get worried than. So I cruise the town looking for him than I spotted him driving his black BMW 325I and when he saw me he took off driving like he was in a police chase. So I end up losing him cause of the traffic so I call him he told me my car was ready in he had it locked up in a storage unit that he never told me about. I ask him for the location of this storage unit and he never gave it to me at all. He than told me in other to get my car back I would have to pay $510 on in he would meet me with my car I was so piss. So I will be filling changes against Herman Dawson ASAP cause. I ask him what was his new address to the home he stay in and he gave me the wrong address I almost went to jail for trespassing in a all white community that location was Staint Andrews street. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN AT ALL AND DID I MENTION HE IS MY OWN COUSIN BY BLOOD 💉💉

Best experience ever with a mechanic! I still had a 5 hour drive back to Atlanta, GA, on Saturday evening. I was passing through Mississippi, and my suv was stalling on the interstate. My Jeep would not accelerate pass 40 mph, and the check engine light was flashing (which meant my suv required immediate attention to fix the issue before any further damage occurred). I went to AutoZone who said a sensor needed to be replaced. I bought the sensor & took it to Firestone who said they couldn’t help even though they were still open. Also, AutoZone was wrong about the sensor. I’m so glad I called Herman with Automotive On the Go. He ran another diagnostic and figured out the real issue. I needed a new coil & spark plug instead. I returned the sensor to AutoZone. Herman fixed the coil & spark plug within 30 minutes. It solved the issue!! I safely made it home as a result. Herman also took time to explain everything to me (which I greatly appreciated as a female who was traveling alone & needed peace of mind that I wouldn’t have anymore car issues).

GO TO A REAL MECHANIC!! Thought I was really getting my money’s worth but nop charges me $140 the job wasn’t done correctly called and texted him repeatedly no answer he completely wouldn’t take responsibility for making a mistake so I had to take it to whole new mechanic and pay another $90 to fix his mistakes. Tried to contact him about refunding money or at least coming out and checking the car before I had to take it to a new mechanic but no response or either he’d respond that he’s on the way and never came it’s a shame. Seemed professional and experienced but a professional corrects his mistakes instead of completely disregarding a paying customer. Take it to a real mechanic that’s warranties their work if you ask me. For the part and labor plus Freon spent over $400 when it coulda been a easy fix if he would’ve just came to check the part he installed improperly.

We paid for this company to fix two vehicles. He didn’t finish the job. He will not return our calls. He has been paid for work and parts. He damaged both vehicles. One does not run although it did before he worked on it. The other he caused the windshield to blow out. He left a can for the air, and it blew up. I am heartbroken. We just want him to do the job he has been paid. This is a horrible person. He should be afraid of karma. I would be afraid to drive anything he has worked on. He is an evil person. Please do not use his services. It is wrong and unfair.

I have paid 350 for a motor for my car! I have texted and called and he seems to not be able to answer the phone anymore. He lies and says that he is coming but never shows up and doesn't let you know anything. The communication is very bad and I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I was told that he had the part but my car still isn't fixed and when I asked for either the part or the money back I got no reply. If its not something simple that can be fixed on the spot, do not rely on them.

I was stuck on the side of the road at 2am in the morning and I called this gentleman and he came from 30 plus minutes away to boost me off and make sure I got to a safe destination and installed my alternator which had went out that same night for me later that day. Friendly, great prices, and relatable. He is my new mechanic!

Totally unreliable. I called for roadside assistance for a blown tire. At first contact, I made dispatcher aware that driver was disabled and time was important to me. I was assured of a 40 minute call time. After an hour, I called and was sent to voicemail. The dispatcher communicates by txt only. Between the constant 15-20 minute lag times, for dispatcher "contact tech" to outright lies about tech arrival times. We finally called it a night and left our vehicle, after waiting approximately 2 1/2 hours on the side of interstate. From being totally unbothered in attitude to obvious unprofessional communications. Its highly likely that this is not a legitimate business, more like some dudes side hustle. So, be aware, this "tech" maybe some half lit cousin. So,just be wary.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Poor communication and scheduling. He would say he was going to be there and just not show up and not call or let me know. They left a AC recharge canister in the dash of my car and it exploded, blowing my windsheild out and causing interior damage. They were working on two vehicles and now neither of them work and I haven't heard from them for a week despite sending multiple messages and trying keto call. My van did run before he came out and now it does not even start and you can see the damage caused by their negligence below. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Quick, friendly, and knowledgeable service. Herman was able to identify and correct the issues with my vehicle when no one else would take the time. His work ethic and availability ensured me that I was going to be able to get back on the road. Thank you again from the two weary travelers far from home! We appreciate you!

Herman is a lifesaver! Was on the road later into the night and pulled off to gas up at the loves and came back to discover my shift cable broke - i found his listing on Google half thinking nobody would answer because it was later at night on a weekend -- he took my call, was awesome to work with and stayed in contact throught the process of getting the part and driving all the way out after hours to my stranded vehicle still stuck in place at the pump... he was professional and straight forward and got us back on the road within nearly no time. We are grateful and so appreciative for his service and time he took to help us out! Herman is your man to call!

My truck would start, but it wouldn't turn over and I called Automotive On The Go to come to my house to see what was wrong with it. First he told me it was my mass air flow sensor so I purchased the sensor and had him put it on my truck. My truck still wouldn't turn over.(the sensor was $97, he charged me $100 to come to my house to put it in.) An hour later he finally tells me that he thinks the valve or the seal in one of my head gaskets in the back was bad and needed to be replaced, so I asked him how much it would cost to fix it. He then tells me the labor cost would be $400. As far as the parts for the labor he said it would cost $236 to buy the whole gasket set because he said he might as well replace all of them instead of just replacing the one that was bad. I gave him $236 cash for the gaskets set and he towed my vehicle away On Wednesday 01/03/2018. On Saturday 01/06/2018 he returned my vehicle. My invoice was $436 because he said he had to replace my spark plugs. I paid him the cash and he left. The next day my engine was making a tapping noise(my truck had never sounded like that). I called him immediately. He didn't answer or return any of my phone calls. This went on for two whole days. Then he sends me a text message back talking about his service has a 30 day warranty and he will take care of it. I haven't seen or heard from him since. After getting my car inspected by someone else I was told that he didn't even replace my gasket seals or even replace the mass flow air sensor. I found out that he returned the new mass air flow sensor and got the money back on it. He also bought some other kind of gasket for $23.99 and pocketed the other $212.01. This dude is a CROOK and a CON ARTIST. Do not call him to fix your car!! He drives a burgundy late 90's to early 2000 Grand Prix and I've also seen him in a burgundy Ford Expedition(prob 2005-2008 model).THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!

My Mechanic’s name was Herman. I gave him my car to fix in February. After I did, it seemed like every time he “fixed” something, something else broke. I ended up spending $1500 to fix the car: “unlock the engine”, fix a tension pulled, REPLACING A WHOLE ENGINE AFTER THAT. After finally getting my car back in May (4 months), something was STILL wrong. When I informed him, he told me since what was wrong wasn’t in the initial labor that it wasn’t under warranty and I would have to pay to get it fixed. Of course, I did not. 2 months later, my car breaks down again. I get another mechanic to look at the problem to find out: the engine was leaning the whole time, causing pulleys to bend and eventually causing the belt to come off. The engine was not properly mounted and caused another major problem with the car. I would not suggest using this service to ANYONE. Just take that loss, and go to an actual shop or get another car.

Great mechanic!!! I especially value Herman's professionalism and his ability to get the job done. He's very knowledgeable, well prepared and rates are well below shop rates. Will definitely be calling him for any other car issues I may have.

My SUV broke down and I was stranded 2hrs away from home in Richland and my husband was out of state working. My brother n law contacted this gentleman and he got the job done. He told me what the problem was and after I got the part (Im sure he could've gotten it himself) he got right to work. It took a while because of the weather but I still pulled off a very satisfied customer! I would definitely recommend him. 👍🏽👍🏽 His prices were also very reasonable!

Had a problem with the top portion of my radiator, hoses and thermostat of that radiator, and also had a problem with the blowing intensity of my A/C unit. The mechanic came to my location within the hour and was able to fix the problems within a reasonable amount of time and for a very good price, which was definitely cheaper than a mechanic shop. Was extremely experienced on the matter and was very kind when assisting. He has definitely become my call to guy (mechanic) if any were to happen to my vehicle again.

His service was excellent. He helped us get back on the road on a Sunday when we were stuck 5+ hours from home. He fixed tire studs that were stripped by another company. He drove around till he found the parts needed and got the job done for a very reasonable price. We truly appreciate his help and amazing service. Not sure what we would have done without his assistance.
