Took my 2019 F-150 in as an oil pressure switch error code persisted after I had the oil pressure switch replaced which I did myself. They wanted to charge me $250 for troubleshooting the issue which I agreed to. I then get a message from them stating that before they can start troubleshooting they need to replace the oil pressure switch which I told them I had already done. For this they wanted $841. The OEM part is $39 at most retail outlets. It takes less than one hour to do the work. Again. I have done the work myself before. Also, any web search will help indicate a total price range for this job at around $100. I understand that they may charge a minimum of one hour and whatever usual fees apply. However, $841 is grotesque. I told them to not proceed and picked up my vehicle. While doing so I asked how they had arrived at $841. The answer: “We charge whatever the system allows us to”. Needless to say, I will never set foot there again. They obviously think all their customers are blatantly ignorant.
