Unbelievable experience for me. I was driving my wife’s car (to make sure it ran every once in a while) and the battery died. I was going to have to walk all the way to an auto store to get a new battery, but JP at autozone picked me up and helped me install a new battery. Things like that don’t happen these days. I’m sure there are liability issues galore with what they did for me, but they did it anyways. Thanks for your kindness and passion for what y’all do. Great store.

I bought wiper blades and one of them didn’t work. Felt silly going back but Javier was great. Turns out the blade was defective. He swapped out in no time, installed it and checked my bad installation on the other blade. Wonderful service.

Very helpful staff. Upon entering, was greeted immediately & while I went to the aisle I needed another team member asked if I needed anything. I overheard a customer looking for a part for his vehicle & the same p.s.m. that greeted me upon entering was there explaining in detail the variations that applied to his particular year/make/model. Having worked in customer service for the better part of 10+ years, I know how far a great smile & courtesy goes. Would recommend to anyone. Plus...free battery & alternator testing, & code reading. Can't go wrong coming here.

customers service New Update: I've spent a lot of money in this place and they're usually great and very helpful, but today (Sunday the 20th) around 7pm, I dealt with this employee who had a "don't care" attitude--not only to me but also to his fellow employees. He was so rude that it caused me to cancel my purchase and walk out. His attitude has changed my mind about even coming back into here again. You can't have these kind of people working here in customer service.

Tonight, my 16-year-old daughter, a first year driver, stopped at your Auto Zone #903. Her “check oil light” came on and she and I figured out over the phone that her car was a quart low. She bought a quart of oil from your store and asked for help because she had never done it before. I didn’t expect y’all to do the work and add the oil for her… but she was dismissed rather quickly. The store wasn’t even busy and it was late. I was very displeased with the customer service. When she asked for help, your store employee just said we don’t do that and let her walk away to figure it out on her own. Being a young16 girl, she was scared to add the oil on her own. I’ve always told her that AutoZone is a place for customer service and somebody will help you if you are in need. Apparently, I was wrong. Apparently, your customer service is not a priority. As a father of a teenage daughter I felt our experience at your store was very disappointing. J. McCarthy

The guy doesn’t know what he’s doing and zero help from other people. When you buy a battery there’s the core charge which I asked and they said it’s a discount, but no it’s completely useless, its actually additional, don’t come to AutoZone, they just lie to get sales. And no help with battery replacement. Terrible experience.

As with any chain- business, some AutoZones may be hit or miss depending on who works there. This particular branch pleasantly surprised me with how helpful and friendly they were- particularly the staff member Sidney. He was probably the most friendly AutoZone employee I've ever met. He voluntarily replaced my battery with such a great attitude. I understand it is service that they generally offer, bit it was how happy and willing he did it that has earned my loyalty as a customer to this branch. Thanks Sidney!

I went to this AutoZone because I was told by several friends that they will put a new battery in your car if you buy one there. The employee talked me into buying a more expensive battery than I had planned to get a better warranty, and then it wasn’t until after I paid and completed my transaction that he said he couldn’t put the battery in for me. I was frustrated and just left with the battery and drove down the street to pay Tires Plus to install it, but now I regret my purchase. Tires Plus would have installed a new battery for free if I bought the battery here. I don’t plan to return.

This location got very dishonest and crooked employees working here. AutoZone offers a price match with Walmart. This location will never honour a price match. One employee, we don’t do price match. Second employee, not with Walmart. Manager, not if the item is on sale. They had this same running around last time too. Another location in the town isn’t like that. So avoid this location unless you’re rich and want throw away your money at them.

Horrible service! Lack of knowledge, respect and overall common sense. I highly recommend avoiding the location. Do not allow your college students to stop here if you need anything dependable or a honest answer. Very disappointed and would not stop here or allow a child to if they were giving away free batteries. You deserve the respect you give and that is zero. Wish there was a negative star option for this review. Customer service is sadly dying with this generation.

I had a very bad experience this past weekend at this AutoZone location. On Sunday morning at this particular location. I stopped in to have a starter, battery and a alternator checked. Two of the workers did not know how to test them, so they attempted to get there manager Mr. Craig to help them. He was very rude! Mr. Craig told me go somewhere else, without even attempting to show the other two employees how to check it. The store has cameras all throughout it to back up what I'm writing in this review. This happened between 10 :00 and 11:00. In my opinion Mr Craig the manager on duty at this location should be wrote up! He stated to me that there's no way for him to check an alternator. I replied so if I go to another AutoZone will they tell me the same thing? He said "I don't know and don't care! Go somewhere else! " So, I replied to Mr. Craig I sure will since, you're not going to help me. I went to the other two AutoZone locations in Athens. Both of them were able to check the alternator for me and give me a diagnosis. On a previous store visit a few months back same location. I had a wonderful experience with a different gentleman. So, that's the reason I went back this past Sunday. Now, I'm advising everyone reading this review to not go here. So, that you don't have deal with a rude, incompetent, & unhelpful person like I ran into on Sunday. Don't allow your day to be ruined by it. If you go into this store a the manager on duty is named (MR. CRAIG) just turn around, go in the opposite direction better yet just go to O'Reilly's. February 6, 2023
