My fiance needed a new engine after pep boys destroyed his car... Bargain Corner was recommened by Precision Engines and we live in central jersey so about 60 miles away but it was worth every mile and im so thankful we know a great mechanic now. Mike is so experienced, has patience, friendly, reliable he really did everything he possibly could to get my fiances chevy back on the road and if i ever have a problem with any car i will be going back to Bargain Corner.. Mike did an excellent job I describe my issue to him which was a Rocker Arm tap. He listened to my engine and showed me an example of exactly what the Rocker Arm looks like and how it was wearing down and causing the tapping noise. He took my car and in within a day and a half he had it fixed and ready to go, it was running like new for under $500. Before I took my car over to Mike at Bargain Corner I took it to Headmaster in Lodi and explained the the same engine tap noise. Headmaster never came outside to look or listen to my car but gave me an estimate of $4,500. I'm very happy I went to Mike at Bargain Corner!

BUYER BEWARE!!! The man in the photo is the owner Mike. By far the most dishonest, sleeziest, and deceptive mechanic I’ve ever experienced. I was recommended to him by a local machinist to install a motor in my van. It took Mike a little over 2 months to complete the job. The day before i pick up my van I get a call from Mike saying that he did extra work to exhaust system which was never discussed and it costed an additional $1.5k of the original quote. When I arrived to pickup the van: service lights on the dash, alerts regarding components of the engine, horn was never connected (safety) and same exhaust ringing (was supposed to be gone according to call). With all of these problems upon receiving my van, I kindly asked Mike to please verify the new parts he installed. Instantly he became offended and used profane language. He then escalated the situation acting like barbaric child pounding on my driver side glass windows and punching my side view mirror as hard as he can. He then attempted to open my door and when he noticed I was recording he listened to his helper who was yelling at him to behave and then he stopped and I was able to leave his garage. I have video of the entire encounter and receipt of the job. I’ve already filed reports with police and consumer protections. STEER AWAY FROM THIS MAN AND HIS RUN DOWN SHOP
