Commenting on service department. I had a very positive experience and honestly was not expecting to. Never bought a vehicle here but have had my Kia Soul’s warranty work done with them.
They handled it. Sometimes that really is enough to make someone feel taken care of. There was a hiccup, they contacted Kia, got it handled. Said they needed to order a part and would call me to come back. They did.
They offer Uber rides within Greensboro or you can wait there.
Also, I asked about other services and it is a myth that dealerships charge that much more for services. Unless you have a local mechanic shop that you have been dealing with for years their prices are absolutely comparable- not less- to Firestone (because I priced services with them) and they have a better waiting area.

"Exceptional customer service!" That is how I reviewed four years ago. I wanted to come back due to service I received at a different dealership. I have had in the past my 2013 and 2020 Sorentos serviced at Battleground Kia - always with exceptional customer service - I would tell people about it, because I had always heard to avoid going to dealerships for maintenance/repairs. Last year, I purchased a different make of car (due to wanting a used/low mileage vehicle and the very limited availability of cars) and my husband started driving the Sorento and has it serviced at a different place closer to his work. Almost three years ago I bought a daily driver (different make than Kia) and had to take it in for service last week to the local dealership (again NOT KIA). This was the worst car customer service I have ever received. I had to make two trips to the most disorganized service center I have EVER come across after telling the service advisor on my first trip what was wrong with the car. This terrible experience made me wax nostalgic, lol, about the great service and experiences I have had at Battleground Kia, and I just wanted to let you know that your efforts are noticed and most appreciated!

I purchased a slightly used Mustang Convertible from Battleground Kia. Everyone was professional and polite!! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service from start to finish!!! A BIG shout out to Cliff, too! And... Customary “if I could give zero stars I would.” I would not recommend doing business here unless your life depended on it. I never leave reviews, but hey, Battleground KIA takes the cake for being my first in years.
No matter what you go here for, management and associates will promise you something one day, only for you to hear something completely different hours later. I can’t stress enough the importance of writing down the names of the employees you speak with, and when, because of that. And that’s IF you actually hear anything back from them. Service members will promise a call back for a status on repairs, but unless you call them repeatedly or show up personally, you’ll hear nothing but radio silence. They’ll have your car for days and treat you as a villain for wanting to know what’s going on (with a bonus eye roll to really send home how they feel.) Trying to buy a new car or trade something in? The experience is even more painful and a genuine waste of time.
I can’t tell enough friends, family and associates to STAY FAR AWAY. Go next door to the Toyota dealership if you really need a car or find a mechanic in town if you need work done. If you value you time and money, save yourself!!!!!

We have had NOTHING but problems out of our 2021 Kia sorento. The first problem was the fuse blowing due to an exposed wire. The second was a bad transmission. The third was a broken driveshaft and today consisted of yet ANOTHER diagnosis of a bad transmission. However the difference this time is that KIA claims it’s not under warranty anymore even though we JUST had one put in the car. I will never buy another Kia from battleground KIA. It’s been a terrible experience all the way around, and I wouldn’t wish their lemon cars on anyone!!
I read your comment back and I have called you, I’ve left messages too, looks like the balls in your court to try and make things right!

I bought my Kia Seltos from here in 2020 and the salesmen who I cannot remember their name was extremely nice and patient. But this review is for their service department. If you had asked me about it in 2021 I’d say they weren’t very good because when my AC went out they determined it to be a problem not covered under warranty even though it was 100% not my fault. I was a jerk but they still remained very professional and nice, and I get it, somethings cannot be claimed under warranty. I feel bad for that as this past Monday and today Friday, January 10, the service center was a delight to work with. My AC’s blower motor was squeaking real noisily when it was set to one. I brought it to Carolina Kia in High Point and they left my car sitting on their lot for 3 days, which is another story for another review. At Battleground Kia they looked at my vehicle and I left within 2 or so hours. I had to return on Friday because obviously they had to get my part in. They scheduled me for the soonest appointment and I was in and out in less than 2 hours. And it was all covered under warranty! Their lobby to wait is warm and had plenty of seating and amenities, and their service advisors were especially nice, shout out to Matt. Thanks y’all!

I purchased my 2022 Ford Escape the day before Thanksgiving. I notified my salesman about 3 weeks later that my passenger side front door wouldn’t lock. She had me bring it in and I was told it would be a $165 charge for them to look at and it would be an additional fee to fix it. Where’s the integrity. Not to mention I have an additional warranty on the vehicle. Good customer service prior to my purchase but not so much after.

We were interested in purchasing a 2025 hybrid SUV and narrowed it down to a KIa Sportage EX and a Hyundai Tucson SEL.
We scheduled a test drive for each car on a Saturday afternoon. The internet sales person at each dealership got together with us right away and confirmed the test drive of the specific car we wanted to drive. One reason that we were I terestedib Kia was the discounted internet price.
On entering GSO Kia, we met product specialist, Anthony checked in with internet sales and was great with us. He earned our trust.
But, it turned out, to Anthony’s surprise that the car we asked to test drive and the other two of the same model were not available for test driving because they had not been inspected and made ready. So, coming in that day was a waste of time.
After going out to look at the cars from the outside. And, then sitting in the non-hybrid EX we went back in to see what an offer would like.
The offer for our trade was generous.
But, the offer that came back from the sales manager was marked up $6000 more than the internet price as a market adjustment.. it felt like bait and switch.
Then we went to Capital Hyundai. The car we requested to drive was ready. The internet price was exactly the price on the term sheet as was the financing deal. The trade offer was low. But it was moved up to a reasonabke offer by the sales manager. The sales person and the finance person were great. So we purchased the Hyundai.
I hope that Greensboro Kia management treats other customers better. Anthony was great. The rest of the experience was not
