Today's Top Tip: There's one type of person who you absolutely cannot snarl at about how many one-star reviews you've received today: the next customer you talk to who's had a problem with your business. You can complain to your coworkers. You can rant at your dog. You can use up to eight handfuls of tissues at your therapist's office. You can even ask your mom for a hug. But you can't growl at me over it. I wasn't necessarily going to bother writing a review of my lousy experience with Battleground Kia--until my eleventh call (after ten unreturned ones over the last few weeks) was answered by the Internet Sales Manager. I was polite. He was an outrageous jerk. He claimed he had returned my calls. He hadn't. No one from Battleground Kia has ever returned a single message I've left. Then out of nowhere, he accused me of leaving a nasty one-star review. He was really mad because he said he'd gotten three one-star reviews in a short amount of time. I had not left any review at all. But here we are. To be fair to him, it seems like it must be a really awful place to work. Today was the only time I dealt with him, but from everyone else, I've seen an array of unprofessionalism, avoidance, disorganization, and rudeness. Perhaps I was the recipient of the end of his patience today. Unfortunately, now he'll be the recipient of mine. Long story short, I sold my car to this dealership on 2/14/2026. That day they took my car, its title, and the keys without giving me so much as a receipt, much less the check for payment. They said they'd overnight the payment to me as they didn't have anyone on site who could cut a check on weekends. That seemed odd. Odder still was that unbeknownst to me, they didn't give/send me any copies of the paperwork of the transaction. For insurance purposes, I've been needing the Bill of Sale to give to NCDOT to record when I sold it. It took them five phone calls from me and a week and a half just to send the payment. Now it's taken six more calls and another week and a half to email me scans of my sales documents. I'd barely made it out of the parking lot before the spammy emails and texts starting rolling in from Battleground Kia. But no payment or sales documents until I'd called eleven times over three weeks. Of all things that are mysterious in this universe, one-star reviews of Battleground Kia are not among them.

Omari was very kind and gracious. He and Charles Stec, the used car manager, made the process of selling them my used car smooth and easy. What really surprised me was, after never asking me what I wanted for my car, they put their heads together and decided to offer me a figure which was, exactly, to the penny, my wish I could get price. I had stated that price, at the outset, to another car dealer; and they came back with an offer $1500 below my asking price, telling me they were doing me a favor by offering that much. Thanks, Battleground Kia, thanks Charles, thanks Omari for giving me a fair but generous price for my Camry!

Wishing I could give a negative star review. Have reached out to this place multiple multiple times and it’s been a horrible experience. Had my car for less than a month and already started having problems. Now we’re going onto 4 months and the car has completely stopped working. Everytime I call this place it’s always some type of excuse on why I can’t talk to Charles.
