I hate having to deal with anything related to my car, so I was already slightly paranoid having to take it to a mechanic. First off, Chris and his team are extremely friendly, and have a very calming and approachable demeanor. Which made it very easy for someone like me who was already freaking out about how much $$ this was gonna cost me. I left them my car, and within a few hours Chris called me and told me, it was simply my battery. They will change it, and I can come pick it up within the hour. I’m glad it was a minor issue. The service was so great, and so was the communication, that I will not hesitate to come here again in the future.

Chris was great! He was able to fit us in last minute with a 24h turn around time. We had to get our brake rotors, pad, and one of the calipers changed. This was a subset of what the dealership was recommending and the pricing was very reasonable. Great communication and professionalism from everyone. I would definitely recommend.

I wouldn’t recommend them. They don’t start work until the “boss” gets in. For some reason, they don’t tell you this until you wait outside for an half an hour or more on a Saturday morning. They seem like nice guys but it’s not great for customers if they can’t get their act together. I’d avoid and go to the numerous other auto shops there are in Astoria / Queen.

I brought my car in because of a fuel leak. The mechanic kept it for four long days. During the lifting, they damaged my car, and when I finally got it back, I even found greasy fingerprints all over my white leather interior. They charged me $700 for this so-called repair. The very next day, I drove my car and — guess what? — the fuel leak was still there, in the exact same spot. When I went back to confront him, instead of taking responsibility, he told me it wasn’t his mistake and kicked me out of the shop. Absolutely unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful. A truly terrible experience from start to finish. 👎

When my old Tacoma starting giving my a shifting issue, I was desperate to find a good shop. Best Auto is literally down the street from me. I thought my clutch went bad, so I was thinking it will be an over a thousand dollar repair, but Chris figured out the clutch was fine, but the master and space cylinder failed, came out to only )$500 repair. Anytime something goes wrong with Frankie, I just roll him down the street to Best Auto. They can diagnose things quickly and have always been right. I have now been a customer for a little over a year, they have fixed my parking brake, leaf springs, CV joint and much more! I’ll be their customer for years to come.

Wanna give a huge shoutout to Chris. For weeks I was dealing with numerous mechanics all that could not figure out the issue with the suspension on my car, came to Chris and he was able to diagnose what was wrong with my car and fix it in the same time it took one of the mechanics to tell me they would not be able to help me. Pricing was as promised and communication was constant throughout my whole process. Hopefully I don’t have any other issues in the future but if I ever did this is the only mechanic I’d consider going to now.

you know, as a car dealer you need a reliable, good honest, hard-working mechanic, who’s also reasonable with the prices. I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences here at the shop. Chris and John take really good care of me. My father has been coming here for over 20 years. He told me to only go here nowhere else. The owner is a nice honest young man he does not cheat anyone and he has saved me thousands and thousands of dollars. He always goes the extra mile and I have zero complaints. I think you should definitely give these guys are shot. i’ve done all kinds of work here i even replaced a transmission here once. Did a handful of suspension work on many cars and even did some engine work here never had a single problem thank God for this place. thank you god bless you
