I had a muffler that was pretty bad, needed fixed a long time ago. Anyways I went asked for an estimated was a very good price and they went and changed it right then and there when I gave them the go ahead. Very nice I highly recommend them.

stood behind there service... after a very noticeable balance issue at 70 mph leaving the shop after obtaining tires alignment and routine rear diff maintenance took it back in next day they cleaned the tires better(darn country dirt) and rebalanced em all now its very little to none. Maybe I should give my truck more baths but maybe they shouldn't tell people first thing on a return visit dont drive 70 and be a wiseass 🤔 I would return but just beware know your s**** and be careful of attitude

Service can be hit or miss, but Vic will take care of you if you ask him to work on your car. We like coming here because it's convenient. We've had brakes, exhaust, and oil changes done without issue so far. One time they even went out of their way to fix a flat tire we had while getting serviced for something else. It's not easy finding mechanics you can trust, but so far we've had good experiences here. EDIT 2019: Our trusted mechanic, Vic, left for another establishment. I still believe these guys will treat you right, but I'm a little unsure now about their skill.

I got a price to fix my loud exhaust in Rock Island and was quoted over $1,000 for a new muffler,pipes etc,I called Bi-State because a review said they were honest and fair. Glad I did . They are HONEST!! Hard to find that in business today. Turns out I just needed a spring flange assembly kit $210.87 with labor..HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me.

I took my car in to get break rotors and pads done, and it was all done under two hours for a very reasonable price, they even fixed a small issue with the trunk opening system and didn't charge me for it. I always used to come to the Moline location and see Russ. He was a great person. Now that he’s gone Jeff is who I went to recently. Jeff treated me fairly and with respect when another shop didn’t. Incredibly honest and knowledgable guys! They will tell it how it is straight up. Went in for a diagnostic on an oil leak and the service was unbelievable. No wait time and didn't try to upsell me on anything at all. Great advice man to man. Showed me the subframe was all rotted out and even waived the diagnostic fee because "you got enough problems as it is." Amazing! I will definitely be coming back for a pre purchase inspection next time I buy something off Facebook marketplace.

I was told my rack n pinion was leaking. Unfortunately, the leak is coming from somewhere else. So, not real happy after having my rack and pinion replaced for $1100.00. I was told when the reservoir came in i had to locate,they would change it out for free since it was just a 15 minute job. Price went up by $65. Best advice get it in writing and stick to it!

Was recommended to Bi-State for exhaust work that could not be done by my usual auto techs. Jeff gave me the diagnosis and a few different options on how to proceed and walked through the steps they would take. The workmanship by the guys in the shop is top notch and Jeff pointed out some other potential issues to keep an eye on down the road. The prices we in-line with what some of my auto tech friends from out of the area said to expect. If you are looking for a new auto shop, they should be high on your list of places to check in with.
