I had a big coolant leak at my rear heater core. The shop looked at it for a couple of minutes and noticed the hose clamp was damaged. Replaced the clamp, and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. GREAT service. I strongly recommend this shop over anything else in town.

I was referred to Birch Street Auto by a friend. I’m so glad that I found this shop bc they were so helpful, friendly, and explained all the services I was going to need to get done for my vehicle. I appreciate how they even found me the best priced parts in town. Kendra at the front desk went above and beyond to guide me through what diagnoses they found and what was urgent versus what could wait on being worked on. This is also a veteran friendly shop. I was driving through Eau Claire on my way home to Canada visiting my niece when I had car trouble. They suggested this shop and they immediately took me in .I dropped my car off that night and had it serviced and completed by 10:30 am the next day.Great service and honest prices.I highly recommend them for your auto repair.Great staff too

Five star review here!!! My undercarriage cover was falling off, right before a long trip out of state. They squeezed me in this morning and they were very busy, with such warmth and a cheerful attitude! Charge me a quarter of an hour and it turns out my undercarriage cover was hanging by one bolt. Had been here a few times for oil changes. They were perfectly fine (I mean, it’s an oil change). The most recent time we brought the car in, we asked if they could also tell us how much it might be to fix the rear view mirror which was cracked. They looked at at the mirror and looked up the part online. The entire thing took as long as it would take a normal speed human to literally look at a rear view mirror and then do whatever the auto shop equivalent of a google search is. So… 60 seconds? They told us the price ($490 which seems insane) and then added a $30 diagnostic fee to our bill. They did not even provide me with a diagnostic (like a written quote of what parts or labor would be required), just the $ quote. When I expressed incredulity, the owner said, “I should have charged you our minimum diagnostic fee of $67 but gave you a deal” and “how do you expect me to pay my workers?” When I said I hadn’t authorized a diagnostic charge they said it was “too late” and “would you order a soda at a restaurant and expect it for free?” I said that no, that’s why restaurants have menus with prices, and similarly at any shop I’ve ever been to before you sign off on their hourly diagnostic rate beforehand. Also, their website does say they offer free estimates. She repeated that $30 was a deal. I hope they enjoy their $30 which comes at the cost of losing a previously loyal customer.

This is the worst company ever I called beginning of july no answer so i left message .days later still no call back so i called again made an apt to bring vechicle in 1 time and I ended up going with someone else and forgot to call and cancel my apt and when I just called to make an apt for them to see if they put headlight in for people the lady on the phone said we are refusing to do any service with you as you had made 2 apts and never showed up to either one ( how can i make 2 apts when i called this month for the first time evrt 1st time called to get quote 2nd time to make actual apt same day)I tried to tell them I only made 1 and I she then said shows here 2.....so it looks to me if you miss just one apt they will refuse you wow no other place has done that bad customer service .lady on the phone sounded rude anyway from the start....so I highly recommend inerstate auto instead better company better customer service etc

We were traveling to a medical appointment in Eau Claire and our low tire light came on, in our second car in the last month, jeesh! My husband dropped me off and was recommended to go to Birch Street Auto. Not only did they repair the tire, but Kendra was amazing. She dropped him off at the hospital so he could be with me and then picked him back up to get the car when I was done. Fantastic service and wonderful people who went above and beyond!
