I personally had a real bad experience with this shop concerning racial discrimination. I was told initially over the phone that they work on European cars, but when it was found out that I was a person of color I was denied service altogether. "White's Only"

Spent almost $2000 and still have a crapped out transmission. Also when I received the car back transmission went out two weeks later charge me another $400 and said it was my fault because there was no ground on the transmission is in a 1977 and yes, there was plenty of grounds, ran from the block to the body and so forth. After receiving the car for the second time transmission went out less than six months later, parked the car due to the disappointment and haven’t touched it in four years just recently started messing with it again trying to see what I can do and come to find out, dinky the mechanic bear left parts out of my transmission and the second gear band adjustment had backed all the way out, causing me to lose second gear. these guys here are nothing more than con artist and parts changers don’t take your stuff there.

I needed a huge job done on my car. The timing cover or valve was cracked. And the check engine light had came on before our scheduled drop off so then there was more to check in to. So I seeded a Tune-up too. I had a difficult spark plug that wouldn't come out ; Mr.Birdsong followed what I looked up on Google to get that spark plug out, okay we took my car there on July18th and got her back late August. I can't stress enough that Mr.Birdsong is a great man, a thoughtful, and reasonable mechanic. And I saw a review where someone called him a racist this man isn't a racist at all. My hubbie and I are both black people and had a long conversation with him the 1st time we met him be it that we are all Nashville natives and we were just chewing the fat. So anyway just wanted to say that to defend Mr.Roger Birdsong's character because he doesn't do social media, a lot of his business is word of mouth and approve my message so carrying on🤭 He understands the value of a dollar these days and kept us informed on what was going on under the hood of my car. He had to take out my whole engine and he did an awe-mazing job. This was when the temps were hitting 100 degree and humid , working outside isn't for the weak and even more reason for the Birdsong Automotive Shop to be closed on the weekends. I would definitely recommend the man,him as a mechanic, and his shop for awe-mazing quality work and you'll not spend a dollar more than necessary. Matter of fact we paid in cash to save money and he didn't have the money needed to give the change back so he gave us $10 back and said "How's that"🤑🤣 Again grrrrrrrrrreat man!! And one more thing before we got it down there we knew we had to get a right front tire. When I talked to him on the phone for the update he said that I needed that tire. I let him know we know just saw it days before we were taking down there. He was happy to know that and said "I rather tell you and you say you know than to not tell you and you go down the road and it blow" I tell ya he's awesome!! Okay I'm done🤠
