My girlfriend recently brought her car in for a simple oil change,luckily she only used it sparingly for local driving,when the oil light and warning beep came on and she brought it to my attention...I checked the dipstick and there was no oil in the system but plenty on the chassis and street where she normally parks.She brought it in right away and when she picked it up was only given a feeble excuse about potential defective oil filter or being tricky to seal sometimes on Volkswagens with not even an apology for the inconvenience and potential damage that might have occurred ,imagine if we had gone on a road trip?.....she was a regular customer by the way and this is the second screw up in recent months....but when an auto repair shop messes up a simple oil change it sort of ruins your confidence in that establishment.......

Absolutely gave back every car in worse condition. If they do manage to fix something it breaks in a month again. Consistently forget to place back bolts/lug nuts.... Always give the most ridiculous diagnosis that doesn't make any sense and are never correct in their advice.

Went to have my emissions test done here praying the whole time that I wouldn’t need brakes, tires etc. it seems that every time I have an inspection done I’m hammered with another huge repair cost. Well no additional cost. .Not to mention that this was the second shop I pulled into the last shop just steps away told me I would fail just by eyeballing my. Thank you very much for sizing me up for additional charges. I just had my brakes done in 2017. I would recommend this shop in a heartbeat.

Yes there is a car repair garage that doesn’t rip you off. It’s this place. Anthony the owner runs a great shop. At times I’ve brought my car here thinking that there was something wrong but Anthony honestly said there’s no problem-and he was right. I can’t stress enough how honest he is. If you’re looking for great car repairs this is the place. You’ve been told. Anthony I have only have one complaint. Please get a motorcycle technician too. 🏍

I used to live in parsons, it was my favorite repair shop, even though I've moved away I would like to go back there, but now everything has changed, the guy who answers the phone has a bad attitude, and I'm not done yet, The phone has been hung up, very aggressive, I think I'm just a customer asking the price, and the other party is very impatient, It's such a disappointment, it really feels so bad, I don't want my car out of my sight, I said can i watch it when you change the oil? he says you have to go sorry you lost a loyal customer. I'd rather pay more expensive than be scolded by your staff.

Very honest mechanic shop with top quality work. Tony (The Owner) with his workers are very good. They make sure you are taken care of. Been going to him for years along with my family and he has been a god sent. A lot of other places will try to give you excuses or make things up to have a repair done but Tony is very honest and will tell you upfront if a repair is needed or not. He also explains how the work will be done so you can have the peace of mind knowing you're in good hands.

I have been going to Black Rock for years to service my cars. Let me first start off by saying I lived in Flushing and now Long Island, and I still bring my cars here. I am what you call a LOYAL customer. Everyone at this shop is professional, accommodating and more importantly HONEST. It’s hard to find a mechanic unfortunately these days that can provide all of that. They always repair my car with no issues (don’t have to bring it back), they don’t start the work unless they confirm with me first and my oil changes (always have oil). I HIGHLY recommend this auto shop for your small to big auto jobs.

Ignition Coil pack job done and they used non branded ignition coils which made my car miss fire and shake when picked up. They try to blame it at something else which was false. Spent thousands at this shop and feel like my car is getting worse everytime I come back. They have all young mechanics at the shop that are in training. Gave back my car with the engine light on
