I bought a "New to me" RV and camped locally, to see what needed repaired. I knew it needed to be smogged and the brakes adjusted (last owner said he just put new ones on) but a little spongy for my taste. Plus the ABS light came on when i was coming home. I called and made an appointment with Bob Howle RV for these repairs plus a few other things. 3 weeks later i get a call that all was fixed and ready for pickup, NOT!! After paying almost $1,000.00, I got 1/2 mile away and turned on the radio, NOTHING! Pulled over and tried again, still NOTHING! Tried the fan, NOTHING! Plus, ABS light was STILL on. WTF? Went straight back to Bob Howle RV. Well, after 2 more hours, they figure out that when they removed the steering wheel cover, wires came loose/off that they didn't reconnect. And, according to the computer, ABS light on because 1 of 3 sensors went out, "It'll be another $3-500.00, want us to fix it?" Not now! I wanted it fixed before but, NOT NOW! NOT BY YOU! Mr. Bob said I needed a new truck battery, $270 + tax and installation. While they were updating my invoice, I called Wal-Mart for battery quote, $107.00 + tax, install FREE, same battery, same brand. Mr. Bob Howle asked if i wanted him to add it to the invoice for the 2 hours labor they just did? WHAT? $234.00 to fix what you broke? I may be new to RVing but, I'm not new to CREEPS that overcharge!! No new battery. No new invoice to fix what you broke! And I've made an appointment to have my brakes fixed by someone who knows what they are doing!! Save your time and money, GO SOME PLACE ELSE!! Some place that does the job you asked them to do and doesn't try to charge for THEIR MISTAKES!!

Very nice staff. Went in for basic supplies, and they had more selection than I expected. You can find parts for repairs here as well as toilet paper and such. Very clean store.

He uses his estimates as a Bait and Switch, I got an estimate for $100 for a simple operation on my A/C and it was a $300 charge when I picked it up. Only because I was so upset I was going to report him to the Better Business Bureau did he cut the Bill by 20%. He's Dishonest and has a high overhead shop, go someplace else unless you want to be overcharged.

Best place in the valley for maintenance of your RV. I have been coming here since 2005. Through those years I have gone from gas to Diesel and they have serviced them all. They also just put in a brake system in my 2017 Grand Cherokee that I tow behind me motor home.

Bob Howell automotive service fills a unique and special niche in the vehicle service area. I have used them since long before that was their niche, since the very early 1980s. After that, I have not wanted to use any other place to care for moter vehicles I have owned. I remember their long-suffering assistance and when my Cadillac engine self-destructed in the early part of that decade. In 1999 I moved to Northern California and did not return until 2008. I was so pleased to find that business still in existence, and had moved to the very nice facility they now use. Bob has now retired and the current owner was his top employee when I first discovered the business. I really do not like using dealerships for service. The most excellent vehicle service I have ever experienced, I still receive from the one that is still called Bob Howell automotive.

You know sometimes you go to a place you've never been to before and you're really never sure what kind of quality you're going to get or the prices are going to be charged. Well I have to say I took my generator in there to have some repair work done on it cuz it wouldn't run I was able to pick it up within a week it was completely fixed and the price I was extremely satisfied with. The labor they work they performed on that was beyond what I would have expected from anybody else. So in short would I go to them again, in a heartbeat

They do excellent RV mechanical work, but they're on the very High side of the price scale, they have helpful attendants, but as a technician myself and doing most of my own work, it's been my experience their stock isn't up to par...also although they're known as an RV Service, my experience has been that they don't do everything on RVs, they give the impression that they mostly do mechanical work as in powertrain, brakes and the likes

Mike and crew at Bob Howle's are a cut above! We have taken our RV here about 6 times and have had everything taken care of in a timely manner. We are DIY'ers and try to fix things on our own, but when we can't, Mike and crew step in and do the hard work for us. Very reasonable rates and great customer service. Love chit chatting with them as well, they have great RVing stories. Nice little store inside as well if you need items for your camper. Can't speak highly enough about them. They also do automotive work! I haven't used them for that but I'm sure they're on point.

Notable that they were asked to look at other items that might need fixing but did not take advantage of the situation, which other RV shops probably would have. I don’t know anything about cars, so a few times I’ve brought my car here to have random sounds or concerns looked at, each time I’m met with great customer service and they always help reassure me everything is fine, or educate me on what could be wrong with my car and what to do. Each time I’ve gone in it’s pretty much the same day I had the concern, though I can’t say that everyone will be able to have their car looked same day every time, I thought it was important to note the super fact service! My dad has gone here pretty much my entire 22 years of life, and he always has great things to say about the team here. I always recommend my friends coming here to have their car looked at if needed.
