My son’s car has been here for 65 days!!! That’s right 65! Totally unacceptable and ridiculous! Every time we ask it will be the next week. Been that way for a month now. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO BONNER

Rude and unprofessional when assisting with insurance claims. Although I’ve dealt with this company with several other vehicles, for some reason, they dropped the ball this time. Instead of providing clear and concise advice about how to proceed in the payout process with the insurance, he simply walked off mid conversation and refused take on the job. Declining a job is solely at the discretion of a company, however being rude in communication with a reoccurring customer is unacceptable.

The office representative did not care to discuss my needs to repair an older, well maintained, work vehicle because the repair will cost more than the vehicle is worth. Therefore, I will take the wrecked vehicle to another shop for repairs so I can use my work vehicle for the next 10 years. I will never take a vehicle to Bonner Body or Repair shop.

I recently turned my 2017 Nissan Maxima in to be repaired. After being told the dent was fixed, I found a dent still present. I was then told that the dent was not seen during the initial repair. The dent is on the same door that was repaired previously. How I professional could overlook a dent in the same door blows my mind. The manager said that they are in the business of charging to fix damaged cars and that they would need more money from my insurance company and an additional two weeks for a total of 4 weeks to fix one door.

They were the cheapest to quote of the three Tuscaloosa body shops I went to. That is where the good things stop. I was quoted two prices (one if damage was just cosmetic and one if there were damages underneith). I dropped my car off on a Tuesday and was told Friday it should be done. They waited until that Friday morning to take off the damaged bumper and then realized they had to order more parts. They called and asked for my permission. I went in unannounced and saw that they weren't working on any cars. Not just sitting and staring at mine, but I didn't see anyone out in the shop. Glad to know the $55/hour in labor is being put to good use. They blamed everything up until this point on a mechanic that was fired since my car had been in the shop, but isn't it the first step to take the car apart and check for extra damages? Seems like the logical thing to do (and the step their guide at the front desk says to do first). So then I was quoted Monday. Get a call later that Friday that the parts won't be in until Tuesday, so I'd have my car Wednesday. At this point they said they'd pay for some brackets that they didn't know they needed to make up for it (maybe I'm not being trusting, but I wouldn't put it past these people to say they are doing the nice thing but not actually even need those parts). Get a call Wednesday that one part shipped to the shop was damaged. "What can we to do?" So hopefully my car will be done Thursday but honestly who knows. The customer service is lacking. I get things happen, and life stuff is unavoidable. But they are not making up for the numerous delays and screw ups. I am by continuing to have to pay for a rental car, on top of their labor costs.

Got the car in to their shop to repaint 1 spots on the back bumper and touch up at a very small spot on front bumper on my 2014 IS 350 LEXUS for 813 dollars.. they called me the next day and said my bumper’s retainer broken and they wanted to charge me another 140 dollars for it, I said it’s impossible as I have no accident or direct hit to the spot .. how it’s could it be broken ..so I told them it maybe their repair Technician that did it while them taking the bumper out to get it repaint. After emailing back and forth.. they call me and said that they will put the bumper in the way it’s is before without charge me extra.. Then another problem.. when the car done repaint, I came pick it up and realized they did not touch up the front bumper..the big ugly scratch still there.. after I told them , they drove it to the back , slapped a little slop of black paint in the middle of the scratch and drove the car back out and told me .. it’s the best that they can do.. so I end up with a spot of black paint in the middle and a blurry grey looking area on top of the front bumper Of my black LEXUS. Disgusted ...and I’m just tired of confrontation.. so i just drove away and vowed not to ever come back to this Bonner body shop to get any business done with them again.. so sad that people work there seem nice but did a very irresponsible job like this. I’m so disappointed and it ruined my whole day keep thinking about it!!!!!

The staff at Bonner's was fantastic! They were very helpful through the estimate process all the way through my pick-up. They were very quick and kept me updated on my car's status. The ladies behind the front desk are absolutely delightful and informative. My car looks fantastic, and they even washed it (which I really needed to do). IF YOU ARE TOLD TO TAKE YOUR CAR HERE BY YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A HIGH-END CAR DO NOT DO IT. My $85,000 car has been sitting there for weeks/months and we were told it would be ready December 1st, then we were told December 9th, then we were told January the 5th, then we got a call today saying oh no IT'S BEEN TOTALED... After all these weeks it's now been totaled. Great job. They have literally ruined every holiday because this is the only vehicle we drive. We drive this to cancer treatments (well we did but now we've had to borrow someone's car that have been begging us for the vehicle back). I don't know what we're going to do, this body shop or our insurance company which is Progressive, neither one of them care at all because it is not their problem. Now magically it gets totaled and we'll have to wait weeks to get a new car ordered when we could have done that 6 weeks ago. Do not take your vehicles here I am begging you, you will get the runaround and you will not get good service. I am livid. Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year for us!

I won't spill this review into 1000's words. Short and simple.... Very unprofessional service was received. Estimated 20-28 days to fix - it ended up taking 4 months to completion. Work performed wasn't checked or quality checked. They gave me a broken truck back. Charged me $280 for a tire without calling and asking my opinion on the matter. Sorry.... Short and simple. Don't use this shop, if you like professional & quality work.

I've used this shop twice now, and although there were some issues with my repairs, as soon as i spoke with Mike, he went above and beyond to get it straightened out, and my car fixed correctly. He paid for a rental from Toyota, and i drove a brand new Toyota Camry while my Camry was in their shop. They reimbursed me for the extra charges on my original rental from Enterprise. He was just wonderful, and really made it a great experience. I will continue to use them for all my car repairs.

I might be biased since my husband is an owner and my son works for Bonner, but it didn’t start out that way 33 or so years ago when I was just a young girl needing her car fixed. They helped me out so many time and the joke is I was need up with a boyfriend and husband from all those not my fault things that happened! They do excellent work and take care of their customers! Highly recommend using them to fix the big wrecks or the small ones!
