Bringing your car to a mechanic is usually not what I would like to do. When I do have to, I found this spot to bring the car to. The owner is fair and is timely in getting the car fixed.

I had a Horrible experience with the owner of this company his name is (Moe). He charged me 600.00 to fix my car and it was never fixed my car continued to cut off when I got it back from him. I explain to him that the car kept cutting off, he told me its nothing he can do because he does know what the problem was. Warning does not bring your car here business is very slow for him. It is to the point where he has to rent out half of his shop just to pay his rent. When I realized that his business was going bad I understood why he started being dishonest and money hungry and charge me 600.00. He is going out of business and is in desperate need of funds he will tell you he can fix your car just to take your money.

Hello everyone, let me tell my bad experience with this guy. I went to Bronx Auto Care because my car needed a transmission and I already purchased it, so I asked him how much it would be to install it and he said $500. It was a little too much but it was the only place around. My wife and I agreed to get the car done there so we brought the car to them. They called me up saying that we needed 3 more motor mounts. I bought the motor mounts and I didn’t even open them which I should had. I dropped it off to the shop. When I got the car back it wasn’t shifting properly. I noticed that the shift was not in the right position. I called them and the first thing the guy said was it was the transmission that you bought and he kept blaming the transmission. They finally told me to bring the car back in. When I got the car back, I noticed that some of my wires were cut. They claimed they did not cut them when they did. The car still was not shifting. I had to go to another mechanic and spend another $280 to fix the damage that they caused. The problem was that the transmission needed to be leveled because it was from Japan. They refused to adjust it and they would not help me at all. Do not fall into the same trap I did. All this mechanic cares about is the money and once the money is in their hands they will not care about helping you fix your car at all. They didn’t know what they were doing at all. The transmission is running perfectly in my vehicle now, no thanks to them. Horrible service. Find a different shop.

Very unpleasant experience!! Cashier was very aggressive when I simply asked clarifying questions about the price he had given which wasn't corresponding to posted signs inside. All i did was simply asked and he got defensive won't even let me make sure everything was good before paying.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE BRONX AUTO CARE for your mechanical needs. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. I had an issue with some screeching with my breaks that THEY replaced last summer. OMAR told me to bring my car on a Saturday and leave the car there so they could work on it. They never touched the car and they didn’t even call me to tell me the status of my car. I had to call three times and each time I called, the person I was directed to speak to wasn’t available because they had “an emergency” and had to leave. When I went to pick up my car, they said they didn’t hear any noise but as soon as I got in my car and drove off, the breaks squeezed. SO THEY LIED and never even looked at my car but they had it sitting there all day. Then GREG the mechanic says he will have OMAR order new breaks, which would be under warranty and they will take care of it on Monday. Monday came and went and no one called. I called again on Tuesday, and this time spoke the AHCMED. He told me to bring my car back on Friday and he would personally take care of me and he profusely apologized. Well guess what? When I called on Friday to confirm with Ahcmed, he too all of a sudden had an “emergency “ and wasn’t there. I literally came there to inquire about a squeak and I have gotten the run around for a week and a half. Maybe they thought because I’m a woman they didn’t have to pay attention to me, but I hope all of you who are looking for a repair shop pay attention to me now. FIND ANOTHER SHOP!

Only reason why I'm giving this shop a 1 star is because of a bad experience I had the other day apart from being a regular customer here and literally bringing/recommending people to this business I came in the other day asking if I can get 2-3 zip ties under my front bumper so the snow doesn't accumulate and pull off my front bumper while reversing into my driveway full of snow, mr.omar wanted to charge me 50$ for that and then proceeded to tell me " since it's for you give me 30$" this was after I gave the guy at the shop 20$ for helping me with those 2-3 zip ties so in the end I ended up paying 50$ mind you 4 days before this i sent a family member with the same issue needed 2-3 zips ties underneath the front bumper and they wanted to charge 80$ ! But when i came and drove the car in and they found out it was a family member of mine mr.omar didn't have an issue helping me with those 2-3 zip ties a nd i gave the mechanic a 20$ tip for the zip ties. This shop has very good experience and knowledgeable mechanic that do good work but this experience has definitely got me looking at the shop differently and has me more hesitant on bringing my car to this shop. hence like I said before I am a regular customer at bronx auto, I've paid over 500$ to almost 1,000$ in different various repair jobs for my vehicle no complaining or giving them a hard time ! Talk about leniency and courtesy for your regular customers ! Way to go bronx auto! if Omar could get away with charging you for just breathing inside the shop I'm pretty sure he would add that to your bill as well . 🤡

we were having problems with our temperature gauge on our desktop in our 2008 Honda CRV . we went to Bronx Auto Care at 3640 Dyre Ave, Bronx, NY 10466. they immediately did the research and found out that the 604-340 HVAC Blend Door Actuator for our 2008 Honda CR-V needed to be replaced. with Fair pricing, professionalism, and expediency they got the job done. we like Bronx Auto Care.
