This is unquestionably the best full-service car wash in Oxnard. I have had every vehicle I own washed hair and always had exemplary and courteous service. The owner and the staff always seem to make time for questions and ways to make their service better. Only had two small problems, one they misplaced my windshield reflector after a detail and number two the rear window on the inside was poorly cleaned. Both problems were immediately solved by either the owner manager or Car Wash employee themselves. I highly recommend California Car Wash for any of your car cleaning needs including detailing.

This is my go to spot for car washes. The prices are very affordable and they do a great job! I love that they still offer punch cards for every visit, which makes you eligible for a free car wash. The interior is left clean and clean feeling. I always leave feeling like I have a brand new car.

I paid 30.00 for a full service wash and vacuum and when I got my car I had to have to gentleman come back and wipe down my inside doors. Then I noticed that my steering wheel was still dirty and the back seats were not wiped down and when I spoke to the manager he told me that’s because I didn’t buy a VIP service for 35$. I will never return there again.

The only disappointing part is when they hand dry it and leave tons of water spots on the car. They say just tell them, why do I even have to tell you guys it's clear as day you can see. It used to be good before years ago and went downhill.

The work wasn't done properly. Didn't completely wipe down truck. I paid $30 for my truck to get washed and still gave guy a tip but honestly go somewhere else.

Charged me 175 for wash, wax and clay bar due to having a lifted SUV. Was trying to barter on price because it wasn’t listed which I didn’t really like. Just give me a price that’s listed instead of having to go back n forth how much it should cost. They never used the clay bar and the wax doesn’t seem like it will hold up. Missed a bunch of spots didn’t touch the hood or the roof at all. The time before they did a great job and charged me less so i suppose it depends on what employees are working the day you go.

Excellent place to go and unwind after work, and yes, get a great car wash! This place is literally right across the street from where I work, I mean I can see it. For the past 6 years and I only started using it this year /2020. So once a month I spend $20.00 letting a team of great car wash specialists detail my car to my chosen specifications. There are several price ranges below and above $20 to fit almost any budget. You choose. You can walk around the whole facility and see what's going on at each stage of the detailing process. Well worth the cost.

I had a really bad experience, some way some how they managed to get my door dented and my running board damage. The guy in charge said he couldn’t contact the owner went back a couple times and the owners was never there. Was told to go at certain time and the owner wouldn’t show up

I thought this place was pretty decent until I brought my black car. They left swirl marks all over my newly painted car and the person checking you in did not want to take any responsibility basically saying my car came in like that. I take very good care of my car and notice the imperfections and when my car came around the corner I noticed the swirls right away. It looks like they used a dirty towel or didn’t wet my car entirely before they started to scrub it. Now my entire car has clear coat scratches all over it that is very noticeable in the sunlight. He mention to having over 25 yrs experience in detailing cars but I doubt your workers do. Mistakes happen and this guy made it sound like his crew will never mess up. Then he tried to offer me a wax service to fix the damages his guys did for $150. I have washed my cars plenty of times since being painted and never noticed these swirl marks ever. I paid a lot for the paint job. I doubt I would ever take my car to any of these places again.

Always do a good job at a reasonable price for a brushless car wash, BUT be aware of the "$3 upcharge" for my compact car they claim to be an SUV! Got it resolved, bought a Jarritos, and tipped the worker an extra dollar to clean my "compact car"😉

They are great when they are slow but not prepared to handle busy crowd. The guy did not even dry my car thoroughly today. It's also not very handicap friendly... It's impossible to get my scooter in the door to pay, the way the ramp and door is positioned and they have all these huge planters blocking the walkway which is a hindrance for handicap people.

BEWARE: AVOID THIS CAR WASH AT ALL COSTS I've been a loyal customer of this car wash for years, but something has drastically changed, possibly new ownership or management. On October 14, 2024, they severely damaged my vehicle, admitted it, and still refused to take any responsibility. Here's what happened: The manager himself drove my car into the tunnel to begin the wash. He apparently missed the track and scraped my front driver-side wheel against the steel railing. As my car was being detailed afterward, the manager approached me in an oddly chatty way trying to make small talk and distract me. It was obvious he knew something was wrong. As soon as I saw the damage, I confronted him. He was speechless at first, then admitted it was likely from the rail inside the tunnel. We walked back to the entrance, and he asked for my phone number, saying he would report it to the owner and that the owner would contact me. He even admitted the damage happened there, and another employee at the wheel wash station confirmed the manager knew he had driven my car in incorrectly. There were fresh metal shavings and grinding marks, undeniable signs of recent damage. I left that day confident they would take care of it. Unfortunately, no one followed up. I waited over a week before going back in person, only to be told that the owner said they weren't going to pay for the damage and that I could take them to small claims court if I wanted. I told the manager I had dash cam footage and photos, including part of the conversation between him and the employee at the time of the incident. He still said they didn't care and that the owner would not provide their security footage. I was told to try calling back on a Sunday to speak with the owner. I went back again, hoping to speak directly with the owner, thinking maybe the manager hadn't actually reported it. I left my number again, no one has contacted me, and it's been over six months. At this point, I'm done chasing them. I'll be filing a claim with my insurance instead of wasting time with small claims. This could have been resolved with a simple wheel repair. I was even willing to negotiate, since I already planned to fix a separate cosmetic issue on a rear wheel. Bottom line: if you care about your car, STAY AWAY from this place. You will regret trusting them. I'll be reporting this business to the California Department of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I've given them more than enough time to make things right, it's not just about my experience, it's about preventing this from happening to others. If you're the actual owner and were never told about this, you need to contact me. It's possible the manager didn't report it to protect himself. Either way, this is unacceptable.

I have been coming to this establishment every month, since the summer of 2022 and I cannot believe that I have not as of yet, rated them on Yelp. How silly of me because this establishment deserves a 5-Star review. Now, I have gone through some of these other low star reviews and I can only say that everyone's experience is different. I don't know the situations and we all know that there are a lot of entitled "Karens" out there and that some feel they should get everything for nothing. For me, personally, my 25+ visits have been nothing but phenomenal and I'm a picky person. These gentlemen hardly ever miss my expectations, and if they do, I just point it out and they quickly and efficiently, rectify it. For the low cost of their full service car wash and interior cleaning, they work and deserve every penny they work for. I tip them very well because they always remember me and assign the same 3 gentlemen to my cars interior because they know that I can be particular. I'm the one inconveniencing them, so I make it worth their inconvenience. I know I can be hard and have high expectations on services I pay for, but I'm not cheap when it comes to a job well done. I just cannot say enough good things about this place. Now I have to admit, I have "cheated" a time or too by going to another car wash location due to situational geographical convenience, but I've always regretted it, so I've come crawling back to this place. Thank you so much CA car wash for all that you do for me and my vehicles.
