Charged me $45 to look at my brake pads and $175 inspect my car. They found 2 spark plugs that were bad but put 1 included on the price estimate. Then I call and they tell me that actually I need to replace ALL FOUR spark plugs replaced…. Whoops! I just paid >$200 for your inaccurate inspection report? Save your money.

Excellent customer service! They are so responsive and strive to put the customer first - especially Kim and Sam. I could tell they truly cared about finding solutions for my car (2014 Jeep Wrangler). What I thought was a small problem at first, ended up being a very extensive repair, and they were transparent throughout the whole process. My warranty company made things rather difficult, and Kim had “fought” tirelessly on my behalf. Most customer service reps would just give up these days and let the burden fall on the customer. I cannot thank her enough! I will say the pricing isn’t the most competitive, but that is made up for with the outstanding customer service they provide. This is my first car in my name, and while I was pretty bummed it needed such extensive work so soon, the team at Cary Car Care has been very helpful.

From the moment I called to schedule my brake service to the time I picked up my car, Dillon and Sam made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. They kept me informed every step of the way—sending pictures of my brakes to confirm the issue and clearly walking me through the next steps. Their honesty, professionalism, and excellent communication made all the difference. Highly recommend!

Another great experience at Cary Car Care. They diagnosed the issue with my 2007 Ford truck quickly, but the part to fix it was no longer available. They were able to fabricate the part and have the vehicle back to me the next day. It now drives better than it has in a very long time! I truly appreciate the care they take in keeping my vehicles in excellent driving condition!

Located just outside historic downtown Cary, Cary Car Care is one of the best automotive repair experiences I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Customer service is second to none as well as their diagnostic. You get a text message with photographs and a detailed description of all the issues that are happening. The diagnostic also allows you to approve or decline service. Overall an absolutely painless and problem free experience.

Hands down the best experience I have had with a mechanic shop in 20 years. Professionalism and honesty is their motto and my vehicle drives better than when I first bought it! Also, the time to diagnose, fix and get me back in my vehicle was outstanding! Thank you Cary Car Care!!!

I arrived at 5:30 pm to ask for some air to my tires (I was getting a message of low tires). Cary Car Care got right on it and then discovered a screw in one of the tires. They patched it immediately, which enabled me to meet my obligations to transport some friends to a meeting in Raleigh at 7:00 pm. They were efficient, courteous and bent over backwards to help me out. Very much appreciated!

I am a big fan of Cary Car Care. This past week grandson was visiting me and he mentioned his vehicle needed work so I suggested Cary Car Care to him. We were both impressed with their comprehensive diagnosis, their honesty, and integrity. I highly recommend them.

They seemed friendly, knowledgeable, and sincere. However their recommendations and pricing seem dishonest or nonsensical. Their $180 inspection resulted in recommendations for $7000 of services, including more inspections, for minor issues on a $3500 car (210k mi 2005 Toyota Highlander). For one example, they recommended replacing a catalytic converter that doesn't need to be replaced. Fine... but the kicker was suggesting, as part of the catalytic converter replacement, to replace 2 properly functioning O2 & 2 Air/Fuel sensors for $1200 in parts cost. These parts cost $200, not 1200. Even trying to find the most expensive I could from multiple vendors, I couldn't find anything totaling even HALF their estimate. After additional research and consulting a trusted mechanic, most every one of their recommendations were overpriced, dishonest, and/or lacking common sense. Save for the $45 tire rotation which was a good idea. I probably would have paid for an overpriced $125 oil change and $700 transmission fluid drain&fill + filter change, even though the vehicle doesn't need it yet, if the rest of their suggestions hadn't raised red flags for me. Also their inspection missed the warped brake rotors, which I even mentioned on the way in as something I was somewhat concerned about.

Came in and needed my hood fixed as the latch cable had broken, and an oil change as well. I also asked them to look at my heat, as it hasn’t been working properly. I was charged almost $400 just in diagnostic fees, which was not made clear before my appointment. They also weren’t able to tell me what was wrong with the heat. On top of that, I had to pay another $600 just for them to replace my hood latch, do an oil change, and replace the cap of my radiator + fill up my coolant. I understand they have to make money, but the markup on parts was absolutely ridiculous, and charging $190 per hour for labor is as well. Never in my life have I had to pay anywhere near that much for such simple services. I’ve had my entire radiator, water pump, and thermostat replaced for about $900. The employees were nice, and definitely knowledgeable, but the prices are absolutely outrageous. I will never come here again, and would never recommend for someone to. Oh, and my heat isn’t even fixed.

Very transparent and knowledgeable. Rates do seem to run a bit higher than what most folks may be used to, but you get what you pay for. They answered all of my questions thoroughly, and didn't try to force any repairs or pressure upsell anything. Will definitely be back if I ever need any work done. Allison and BJ were great!
