I took my car because it has an oil leak to have it checked. They checked it and they told me there was no leak. I came to my house I check under my car leak is there they didn’t check properly.

I brought my car in this past Saturday for a simple oil change. I provided my own 5-quart bottle of oil and my own filter, and I only needed the labor. I explained that I was in a rush, and Mali at the desk instructed his mechanic, Jeff, to focus solely on the oil change. Two days later, on Tuesday, I took my car to my regular mechanic, who was closed on Saturday, and he told me that it was a quart and a half low on oil (the half quart is on me, as I forgot to bring an additional bottle at the time of the oil change). He checked for leaks and found nothing, indicating that the job was improper. I called the shop and spoke with Mali, the manager. Instead of taking any responsibility, he made excuses about “oil stains” under the car, suggesting that my car might be burning oil. However, no one mentioned this issue while I was there. I was literally sitting in the waiting room the entire time. Jeff handed me the keys without saying anything before I left. When I requested a partial refund for the incomplete job, Mali refused. He stated that he wouldn’t take another mechanic’s word for it and instead wanted me to bring the car back for him to check. At that point, why would I trust a shop that had already failed to complete a basic oil change and clearly cannot take accountability? This place lacks professionalism, honesty, and basic customer service. If you value your car and your time, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I only went here because my usual mechanic was closed, but I will never return.

I’ve heard great things about James, and his reputation truly precedes him! This Goodyear location is everything you could hope for in an auto service shop—fair, honest, and completely transparent. From the moment I walked in, I felt like my concerns were genuinely heard, and the team worked efficiently to address my needs. It’s rare to find a place where you feel like they truly have your best interest at heart, but this is one of them. DO NOT GO HERE , i have been coming here for the last 4 years , they will make sure they will leave one of the wheel alignment bad so the tires wear out inside , and u have to change them before you do the miles

Horrible horrible horrible long wait this morning with my Autistic child. I got there at 8am per my phone call with the person that answered phone the day prior. Was told they could put my license plate on the front. I waited 2 and a half hours (one of those hours I took my son yo the park). Called for a status update while at park & was told my car was still not worked on. I spent another 30 minutes at the park before heading back to mechanic. I saw my car still sitting outside with no work bring done on it. I go in with my child & wait more. An hour & 10 minutes passed & still no work on my car. It's literally parked in the same spot from when I got there at 8am. I inquire about the time frame & was told I have to wait for the only mechanic they have to try to put my front plate bc no one else can do it. The only mechanic they have for this hard task finally shows up. He tells me he can only put my plate with zip ties bc they don't have the parts. They have to order the parts from dealer. The guy from the previous day's call tells me he didn't know I wanted my plate up with brackets & they can put my plate with zip ties. The rage that exploded within me. I will never give those people my business after this ordeal & while having my special needs child with me. Completely unprofessional to make a person wait that long for a mechanic to zip tie a license plate. So you gonna tell me no one could zip tie my plate in the morning, when I first got there, if you didn't have the parts for my car? It had to be that one mechanic? Horrible injustice. I will make sure my whole family & friends stop going there. Incompetence at it's finest.

Unfortunately this shop lied to me and it costed me over $1100 in labor and parts. I purchased the parts elsewhere because Central Tire quoted me a rather high total price including labor (well over $1100). I purchased the same brand and exact part number for each item (AcDelco brand). Once the parts were being put on at another shop, the mechanics examined the old parts and they had absolutely nothing wrong with them, at that point it was too late to put everything back on and proceeded with the installation of the new parts. To no surprise the problem proceeded to continue immediately driving home. Which indicates it had nothing to do with what they were 100% sure I needed. I would’ve spent even more money if I said yes to Central Auto to begin with. Do yourself a favor fellas and take the time you need to assess each car thoroughly before making things up to justify long wait times. Also, before you comment below saying something along the lines of not having an August in your system or not taking responsibility if the work wasn’t done at your site, just be honest with your clients. For everyone els’s sake. I understand it’s a business but it won’t be for long if you continue to lie to your customers. Never again. If you plan on taking your car here, Good luck. Two stars because they had air conditioning.

Very disappointed with the service. I took my car here for a tire alignment, and they told me everything was done and in good condition. However, after only two months, I had to do the alignment again at another shop and it turned out the first one was never done properly. They clearly didn’t complete the job even though they claimed they did. I wouldn’t recommend this place, as they’re not honest with their work.

Central Tire scraped paint off my like new Ballistic wheels while installing new tires. Like most aftermarket wheels, Ballistic wheels come painted black from the factory. As soon as my car was done, I noticed several significant scrapes down to the metal around the edge of the rim. I also noticed the wheels are completely dry... no signs of any lubricant like you usually see after tires are installed... they're still dusty and dirty.... no wipe marks at all. I immediately informed the senior guy behind the front desk, I believe his name is James or Jimmy. I told him I had taken photos of the wheels earlier that day and offered to show him the photos to prove the scrapes were new. The first thing he said was "what's the date of those photos?" I showed him they were taken that day. Then we went outside and called the mechanic over to take a look. I heard the mechanic say "plastico" and walk away. James said "that's why I dont like to do (something unintelligble) ", blaming the wheels instead of taking responsibility for the damage by their installer. Then he said "we're not responsible" made some comment about painted wheels and walked back inside. I noticed all four wheels were installed dry without any white lube around the rims like wheels usually have after a tire change. I took my vehicle to Central Tire because I am paranoid about damage to my expensive wheels... my experience at Central Tire was very disappointing. I will post before and after photos and plan to ask the owner whether he agrees that they are not responsible for damaging my wheels.

I’m so disappointed in this shop and I’ve been coming to this shop for about 4 to 5 years. All it took was for one person to do the work the improper work to our vehicle for you to lose a customer. We are extremely disappointed with the service we received. After trusting your shop with an oil change, we discovered the oil in our vehicle was still dark and clearly not fresh. Out of concern for our engine, we had to purchase more oil and change it ourselves — and the difference was undeniable. This experience has completely broken our trust. I will never bring my car back to your shop for an oil change or any type of service again. It's frustrating and disheartening to feel taken advantage of, especially when we put our vehicle’s care in your hands. You’ve lost a customer — not because of one mistake, but because of the lack of integrity that mistake revealed.

I was looking for a decent mechanic spot that wasn't going to charge me an arm and a leg for some work. I found it. This place does good work. It took about 3 days for 1 repair but I don't mind waiting for quality service, which they delivered. I had a busted radiator and the knowledgeable staff helped me to understand exactly what was wrong and quoted me a fair price. I would recommend going here for any work you might need.

NO STAR. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Every single time I come here for a tire, I magically leave with another tire “damaged” and needing a plug. Once is bad luck. Five times is a scam. This place runs on a merry-go-round business model: create the problem so you keep coming back. It’s predatory, dishonest, and embarrassing. I’ve changed tires FIVE TIMES dealing with this nonsense. Funny how the issues never existed before I walked in. Save your money, your time, and your sanity. Go to Jerome Ave in the Bronx where mechanics actually fix things instead of inventing them. I’m on to you. Other people should be too. Karma has a perfect memory and I hope y’all get yours for this.

I went here to have new tires, I bought on Amazon, mounted and balanced. They honestly recommended additional services I truly needed in a professional and non-aggressive demeanor. The price was competitive and they finished in a timely manner. I brought my own TPMS sensors which I bought online to be installed and programmed, as well. They charged much less than other shops and went above and beyond to program them, including test driving the car multiple times to make sure they worked appropriately.

Honestly hands down the best place ! I will point out I only come here from oil changes , inspection and tire installation , so I can only speak on that . Front desk is super friendly , they have a waiting area which is nice . I’ve honestly never had an issue with this place and they are usually quick . First come first serve and a lot depends on the service being done. For my oil change or inspections I’m out of their quick. For new tire installation it took a few hours so I dropped off the car and they called me when it was ready . I feel like it’s affordable and consistently reliable!
