We bought a car from a used dealership and the heater wasnt working the ac would blow super cold all the time so the dealership payed over a grand to get it fixed at this place. Well they didn't even fix the problem right and now the ac does not even work we took it to them and told them about it and they were very rude about it they said that the ac not working had nothing to do with the heater. These people are thieves and dont half ass work on your vehicle i would not recommend this shop

Charlie's automotive is a horrible shop...I would never go there again. ..I got my transmission rebuilt there...n I had a 2 year warranty on it...having a year left on my warranty...he said he refused wrking on my car...I bought it back 2...for him to wrk on....Im scared to pick it up tomm..cause he's shop is in the ghetto. ...they are a chop shop...n jus want to make a quick cheap fix n take Ur money!!! I might even sue the shop...never go there!he will reap u off...he's name is charlie

As a traveler in a bad situation I was taken advantage of. All work I could have done myself if it wasn't for the insane expirence in the autozone parking lot once the sun went down. Charged 1100 dollars to do brakes calipers and rotors and replace the fan.. one day took 5 which cost even more money because I had to stay at a hotel.

Charlie the owner was able to diagnose the problem with my car right away. I waited a hour for the repair of engine problem, he drove my car to be sure it was operating probably and I paid him. I drove my car home home without having to leave it for days at the shop for repairs. Great service! !!!!

Came to do business with these crooked people by way of Audubon Wholesale who are actually right down the street from them. Bought a car from Audubon that was having transmission problems and they sent it to Charlie's. Charlie's supposedly purchased another transmission and repaired the car, but they didn't. So going back and forth with the dealership, I realized I was dealing with trifling, incompetent criminals, including Charlie's. Took the car to a Chevrolet dealership and they confirmed my suspicions that the car had not been touched let alone repaired. And the kicker, they did a claim with the warranty company that I'd purchased a warranty from and received a $1000 from them. Charlie actually admitted that the guy he deals with at the dealership told him to lie! As stated in Audubon's review, they're all Crooks! Beware and stay away!

He's a rip off. He says that one thing is wrong then it's something else. He takes your car for long periods of time with no contact. I had to go into his establishment just to see my car sitting there. He is very unprofessional and I've spent thousands at his shop and I'm still having car problems. You get your car back with grease stains all over. Don't waste your time nor money

I went to get my Cadillac checked out, due to some noise I was hearing ! They checked it out, estimated the work at $800+, Wheel Hub Bearing, Rotor, & Brake Pads ! I went on to order the parts myself, in hope of making the price a little cheaper, which it did, parts happen to be near $200 Cheaper & they weren't Cheap brands ! So, I happen to talk to my uncle, who is a Mechanic as well, he told me that the Job is Easy & he'd do it for Nothing, I didn't pass that up ! Check This, as he proceeded with the Work, he discovered that the only problem was 2 missing screws from the Wheel Hub Bearing, screws that were worth under $4 each ! He discovered that problem within 5 Minutes after removing the Tire ! Brakes Were A Month Old, Rotor was Fine, & Hub Bearing Was Fine ! It was wrong of those guys for doing that && what makes it worse is, they've probably done this to Soo many people, especially on the fact that I was recommended to this Shop ! SMH

Charlie's has repaired 2 of my vehicles, a Mercedes & BMW. Diagnosis what others couldn't find. Repaired promptly and no issues since. He also change my Dad's oil pump in a Chevy Silverado much cheaper than anyone else quoted. With a 25 mile tow (not included) his quote still beat anyone's quote. Got the truck back the next day!

It took almost 1 month to replace a motor and the next day after getting it back, the car died. They told me the alternator was bad. Never had an issue with it until brining it there. I have a strong belief it was never connected the day I picked it up and drove away on the battery...No urgency whatsoever...

Toyota Corolla had a very rough idle and was lurching while drive. After being told by many other shops it was a week+ until an appt, Charlie's told me they could look at it that morning. When I arrived he promptly checked out the car and two hours later called to share the diagnosis of a bad ignition coil. He offered to throw in a discounted oil change while he was already working on the car which I couldn't refuse. By the end of the same day the car was fixed for a fair price, all new ignition coils, spark plugs, and fresh oil change. This is the new place I will recommend.
