Everything was good but Chili’s needs to go back to paper receipts. Every time I ever try to use the kiosk it messes up. Tonight we needed to split the check up and it kept acting up. It took our waitress 3 or 4 different kiosks to finally get it when she could’ve easily just printed it out.

Bar tender on Sunday afternoon was rude and disrespectful. We eat here every Sunday with my elderly parents (86). This week we had guests so we needed a bigger table. We were seated in the bar section at a big high top. There were 12 chairs. We needed 7. My parents were struggling to squeeze into the chairs and boost themselves up. I began to slide chairs over to the bar, where 2 people were eating. The bar tender approached me and said, “I set my bar up like I do for a reason.” I attempted to explain the circumstance. She interrupted me saying, “I’m not sacrificing my bar for that.” Now, in my opinion, the “THAT” to which she was referring was my parents. This was unacceptable. I say to Cass, the bar tender, consider the patrons who come to your place of work, keeping it open, proving your job, before you approach them with such vitriol. More than likely we will be back because Melanie, our server was gracious and kind.

The worst Chili's I've ever been to. The minute we walked in the door at 9:40 pm on Sunday they said we need to take your order now because the kitchen is closing but yet the hours say the restaurant is open till 10:30. Then several things we try to order, they are out of. I ordered an appetizer and they forgot it. When all my friends had gotten their food, they didn't bring my food out. The first waitress disappeared so the second waiter asked if I had ordered anything and I said yes chicken crispers and an appetizer. He brought the meal then appetizer sometime later. The fries were cold and chicken crispers tough. The bathroom had toilet paper all over the floor. The second waiter was very nice but it couldn't redeem the experience I had with this place. Go somewhere else to eat!

This review will be focused more on the location and team rather than the food and drinks. Food and drinks were fire though 10/10
In the middle of a great lunch, my partner has an episode that required IMMEDIATE attention - looking back at it, it was probably very scary for the team to witness and not know exactly what’s happening. Still, in that stressful moment they jumped in and did what they could to help out. They gave us every resource they had, didn’t crowd us, took initiative and called the correct people, even took the stress of the paying the bill in the midst of everything. The manger at the location was respectful, the host made sure to circle back when he could, our server was pregnant and still decided to help us out!! The way the team handled the situation was BEYOND!! This is something we will clearly never forget!!
My partner is doing well. Currently in the hospital as I type this. He says thank you!!

Server Juan at table 43 gave my family one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. Our bill was $141.64, and despite us ordering quickly and being polite, his attitude turned nasty when I tipped $8 — I didn't give the tip out of spite, it was all I had, he tried switching up his language to Spanish to talk to me in an underhanded manner to be discreet. Remaking two times "Thanks for the tip" and roughly throwing the receipt. While as the paying customer, he was rushing the order as it was packed. Interrupting our prayer to put in a food order. He became rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Very passive aggressive, and gave us attitude even after we said goodnight on the way out and making comments under his breath being very snarky. Covered in blown out tattoos with a buzzed haircut, he made us all uncomfortable by the end of the night, and tried to make a comment to us as were walking out the door after my fiance and mother went out the door and left already. Waiting for the moment to say something as we're leaving. We went back in and left a complaint. But genuinely disrespectful and not called for. Regardless of this, his service was mediocre at best.

Ordered via the website for delivery. Salsa and queso came with no chips to eat them with. We also located inside of the queso a large burnt chunk of chicken that looked like a chicken wing. It was hard as a rock. Absolutely disgusting. Can’t get a refund because we ordered online.

EXTREMELY disappointed. I ordered food about 57$ for delivery like they advertised on the line if you call them…. just for it to be cancelled(an hour before close) so I than tried to call the store to place my order for pick up. NOBODY answered. The line was ringing asking if i wanna still wait for an employee for about 20 minutes. Wow. No manager or employee could answer the phones? i’m happy i got my money back because i won’t be ordering from here again.

Right now you're confused about my stars..... I've been gone nearly 11 yrs and EVERYWHERE I'VE BEEN (GA. AL. NC. SC. NY.) I raved about the Chili's here in Lakeland, Fl having 2-4-1 on select drinks (Bahama Mama) and on this day 2/24/26 I walk in and learn that is NO LONGER as of April 25 SMFH PLEASE just give me some balance and correct this AWFUL MISTAKE. << Beware of the waitress! If u take too long in the bathroom they think you dine in dash. Not even less than 10 mins in the bathroom, they moved our jackets and put them in the lost in found, that’s unacceptable. Im glad the manger was understanding and covered the check.

I don't typically order burgers at restaurants because I'm extremely difficult to please when it comes to burgers. I went against my better judgment and ordered the bacon cheeseburger. I am SOOOO glad I did! Not only was the burger terrific, but I brought half of it home and reheated it the next evening for dinner. IT WAS EVEN BETTER HEATED UP THE NEXT DAY!!! As a former restaurant chef, I'd like to commend the cook who took the time to craft such a delicious piece of meat for me. Thank you, Chili's, for making this experience arguably the best restaurant experience in my whole 50 years of life. CHEERS🥂🍻🍾

Well I really wanted to try the new mozzarella sticks but I guess it just wasn’t meant for me to eat there. 1st off, I walked in and the employees just stared at me for like 4 mins. One of them went to the back then went to a seated a table, eventually I was seated. Mind you, they aren’t busy or short staffed at all because I’m sitting close enough to the kitchen that I could hear a lot of people talking in the back. I sat patiently although I really needed a drink and was craving that little trio appetizer. I sat there for about 7 mins which may not seem like a long time, but most line cooks have 7 mins to prepare your meal from start to finish so yea. Idk if it was because they were dealing with other issues but there was definitely enough staff, just poorly managed today. Try the one on the south side! I always have a great experience there.
I’m at another restaurant across the street and walking in even felt more inviting. I was greater, seated and I have my salad now. I was going to order a glass of wine but opted for Long Island after the aggravation from chilis. That is all. Delicate and new more attentive next time.

I went to go pick up a salad before my movie and for some reason the portion size was cut in half. My $20 salad looked like a side salad. There was more chicken than lettuce, I used 2/3 of the dressings and my salad was soaked. When I usually use all of them and need more. In the second photo I didn’t even take a bite, just added the dressing. Maybe they gave me no lettuce because I got take out or they cut the portion sizes
Edit the last salad photo is the same exact salad that I got from the plant city location. Do not go to chilis 98 location

I was charged for an alcoholic beverage refill that was served to me without my consent or any notice that it would be an extra charge. This should be clarified before refills are provided. Transparency matters, just ask. I assumed it was a similar deal to what was available last year around the holidays, buy one get one since nothing was said. I dine there frequently and most severs that are familiar with me know I tip extremely well and am incredibly understanding. This was shocking to say the least, especially since I have dined with this bartender before. The only reason I was aware was because I watched her do the same to the woman that sat beside us. She refilled the drink in the middle of the meal but only added the charge at the very end when she assumed we likely wouldn’t notice. Reconsidering my Chili’s frequency after this. At minimum will not return to the bar if she is there. This took place on Thursday December 18th 2025 around 8-10 pm. I would add a name explicitly, but unfortunately the text receipt I requested never arrived. I also want to make clear I attempted to confront her in the nicest way possible, but she said something rudely under her breath and immediately walked away and refused to talk to me further after it was acknowledged.

Had dinner with wife and we both got the 3 for me meal. I had 3 pieces chicken fried spicy with Mac and cheese . Wife had 6 oz. Steak with mashed potatoes and corn, chips and salsa and queso. Everything was delicious and had take home boxes for leftovers. We both were full. Plenty of parking with handicap parking. Kyler our waiter was excellent anticipating our needs and was very helpful. Was surprised our meals were so enjoyable.
Chili's update our waitress Sierra was excellent and checked on us frequently. We went for lunch and it was quite busy there at that time. We got the three for meals my wife got the steak and asparagus and mashed potatoes. She commented that the steak was delicious and juicy and tasted great. For appetizers we got the chips with salsa and upgraded to skillet beef queso dip for $4 which was phenomenal, A lot of times these type of dips are so salty. this was not and was very addictive once you started eating them. The tortilla chips are the best there they are so thin and crispy and not heavy or salty on your stomach. I had the QP burger which was good and french fries which were nice and crispy just needed a little pepper which I added at my table. No ketchup. My wife had a Coke zero and I had the lemonade dragon fruit which was different but way too sweet for my taste. So the waitress when I request it half a glass of water got it for me and I mix the water with the lemonade dragon fruit flavored drink. We both have enough leftover for another meal which we took home and of course packed up the dips and chips. Impressed with how fast we got our food not that we were in a hurry and oh I almost forgot, my appetizer was the cup of loaded potato soup which was delicious and not salty. I recommend going to Chili's in Lakeland on 98, we went for lunch but I can imagine it would also be a good dinner. It was relaxing and enjoyable but still chilies. Highly recommend that you stop by there with your friend or spouse for an enjoyable meal. A couple tables around us got the sizzling fajita meals with various meats that fill the air around us sounds like that's the next candidate when we go there to try. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Enjoy Lakeland Chili's and ask for Sierra the waitress.

Food in general is good, came out as expected and quickly. Above average price, but reasonable for the location. Great service. One thing that I don’t like is the open space with no privacy. Otherwise, everything else is great. Would visit again if in the area.
