I bought my Lincoln MKX from Chris. There was a few points things I’d like to note about my experience. First off when I found the vehicle and told Chris I wanted to purchase it but he wanted his mechanic to check it out first. When I asked him if he wanted me to put money down to hold the car he said no, we don’t do business like that, we’ll call you the minute the mechanic is done. Which he did. Called me the next day to say the car was ready. Secondly, since I checked out the car before his mechanic had run through it, I noticed it needed brakes and rotors on the front which needed to be replaced. When the mechanic checked it out and agreed and were changed without question. (And no increase in price) Lastly, for a couple weeks it was running great. Then it started making a grinding sound. I called Chris he said to bring it to the shop when I could and they’d take a look at it. A couple days later I drove it up to the shop thinking maybe it was the rear rotors and pads to be replaced. Chris called me about an hour later saying the entire rear differential had to be replaced. He ordered the $1500 part and had it expedited and replaced it without question. Probably a $2500-3000 job and he took care of the entire thing. I would highly recommend Chris Goodnow Auto Sales for purchasing a vehicle. He stands by his vehicle, has competitive prices that are actually posted on them and looks out for his customers. Thanks again Chris! Chris took the time to find me the perfect car. He worked with me on exactly what I wanted and kept in contact constantly to keep me updated on his search. The car was absolutely mint. So worth the wait to find something perfect. Many think Goodnow Auto Sales just sells off the lot but he actually will work with you and find you the perfect car if he doesn't have what you're looking for in his inventory. He even took the time to get the leather seat repaired for us prior to the sale for NO CHARGE!! I bought a used explorer from Chris and I absolutely love it! Being 20 I was very nervous about buying my first car but Chris made it so easy and took care of everything. I told him what I was looking for and he found me a car that checked every box, for a great price. When the car came in it needed brakes and some touch up paint, which he did completely free. He helped with the banking and all of the paperwork, making it a very easy experience. The customer service here is unmatched and I highly recommend buying your next car here.

This was my first time buying a car from a dealer and I came all the way from Rhode Island because Chris was the only dealer I looked into that felt trustworthy. Because this is my first time I was looking for a super straightforward car-buying experience with an honest, good-natured dealer and that's exactly what I got. He took care of me like family and there were no hassles, no games, no surprises, and NO PRESSURE in any way during the entire process. He has a ton of integrity when it comes to how he treats his customers and about standing behind the quality of his cars - he did work to the car before I bought it, and even after I paid for it he put in a new battery for free the week before I came to pick it up when he noticed it was being problematic. He also went above and beyond to get all the paperwork needed for my bank when they were being difficult which was a huge help to me as well. My husband and I have bought 3 vehicles from Chris. Every purchase has been quick, easy, and no pressure. He is very knowledgeable about vehicles as well as financing. Chris took the time to listen to what I was looking for in a new car and found the perfect vehicle for me! We got excellent financing rates on all 3 purchases as well. Update from 2 years later for transparency: when I got the Honda accord with 107k miles on it I expected it to last me awhile. Unfortunate to say that was not the case. Shortly after this review I had to bring the car to another mechanic to have the brake job redone. After 2 years and ~30k miles the newly rebuilt transmission Chris’s team put in has fully failed and requires replacement. Just a glimpse of a list of the things I’ve had to do for this car. Sad to part with the car now since I’ve grown attached to it, but scared it’ll continue to be a money pit for me. Not to say all the cars from this place would be like this, it’s a potential it was a fluke. But would encourage others to fully vet these vehicles with a mechanic you trust before buying, don’t make the same mistake I did. Just recently purchased my first vehicle through Chris Goodnow Auto Sales and have had great experiences with him and his team! Since this was my first time through the process, Chris was very helpful explaining everything to me and walking me through issues with my insurance. A few months after buying the car I had some problems with the transmission and breaks. I brought it into his service department for repair and his team got right to work. Chris called me saying he'd pay for the bill since I only had the car a few months, which is very kind. I definitely will be coming back for repairs/maintenance at his service center, and would recommend Chris's business to anyone looking for a used car!

Called Chris to discuss the need to buy my 16 year old son his first car. Let me tell you a little story . Im a single mom of two and I needed a car and money was tight this pandemic hasn’t been nice to ALOT of us . However Chris Goodnow saved the day . BEYOND TERRIBLE. I rented from them. I needed to return my car 10 minutes later than I anticipated. I spoke to a gentleman with long hair who was willing to help and try and find a solution for me. Then some woman in a pink hoodie interrupted telling me “to go somewhere else.” Then when she recieved the same attitude back that she had given to me. She said to me “I’m gonna walk away before I throw you out of the store.” Horrendous customer service. How Customer service works is about accommodating people. Especially ones that have don’t have any other option. Will never use again

chased a 2005 Grand Marquis from him recently and it only has 36k miles on it. The Marquis seems to run well and be in great shape and they have been very accomidating so far, the ac wasn't working and they promptly scheduled to have me come in and have it fixed,it's running great now!
