I have taken my car to a few dealerships but I have not been fully satisfied with the repairs that they have done despite the exorbitant cost of the repairs. One even told me that they need to have the car for a few days to fix the lift gate. This time I made a diligent effort to read reviews on several car repair shops; and my overall conclusion is to take my car to Colony One at Dulles. I told David that my car gets hot especially when the air conditioning is on & the lift gate does not work properly. He said that they will run diagnostics & it will be a separate charge from the repair; which I consented to it. He called me after a few hours & informed me exactly me of the results of the diagnostics. He gave me a quote & I told him to proceed with the repair. My car stayed with them for only half a day & all repairs were done to my satisfaction. They even gave me a follow up call just to make sure that everything is OK & that I can call them if I have any issues &/or questions. That is customer service. From hereon they will be my go-to car repair shop. Kudos to the staff!

Diagnosis was quick and provided pictures of the problem. They repaired the problem the same day and the website was easy to use. Cost was fair as well and would definitely go back for future repairs👍🏾

I have been taking our cars to Colony One for 30 years, and have always been very satisfied with the services provided. The first thing I expect is quality work, done right the first time, and this has always been the case at Colony One. They know what they’re doing.

Got scammed and now my car is totaled. Absolute nightmare coming here. I originally gave them a couple stars because they seemed like they do good work, but turns out they’re either dishonest or just completely incompetent. After I refused their $150 diagnostic fee (because that’s a ridiculous price and I already had the codes looked into by someone else), they told me they wouldn’t look into the issue at all and would only do exactly what I asked for. I went ahead and told them to replace the spark plugs since my main mechanic thought that was the likely cause. I even said, “Unless it seems like there’s something else wrong, then hold off,” and they pushed back, repeating that they “can’t look into any issues.” Fast forward, they replace the spark plugs, I get the car back, and just a few days later the check engine light comes on again. I take it to my personal mechanic and long story short, the engine’s blown and the car’s basically totaled. I was told by more than one mechanic that no good shop would’ve replaced the spark plugs without noticing a much bigger issue going on. Even if they didn’t run any official diagnostics, it should’ve been very obvious. I’m not going to say with 100% certainty this is all their fault, but it’s very possible the problem they overlooked is what caused the engine failure, and it might have been preventable. At the very least, they definitely scammed me out of $380 for spark plugs that weren’t even the issue and should’ve been obviously unnecessary.

I'm afraid I have to say yes and no this time guys. I was disappointed to find that you stopped my air conditioning after telling me it wouldn't hurt anything to keep it running until I can get back to you for the work that needs to be done. It's hot guys! Also you forgot to tell me I have to drive it for fifty miles to reset the computer so that caused it to fail the emissions test . I'm thankful for your thorough search to id what the problems are and will be back to have you complete the work that needs to be done once I get the money.

I took my car to the Colony One Auto for break replacement. The manager, Chris was very nice and knowledgeable. He even drove me home when the car was in service. I am very happy with the service.

The best auto care facility I've ever been to. The staff is friendly and attentive. Two tv's, lots of magazines, soft drinks, etc to keep you entertained and comfortable. Lounge area is clean, bright and inviting and mostly the quality of service is unmatched. I trust Colony One Auto Center for all my car's needs.

We take all four family cars to Colony One Auto because they provide outstanding service and I've always found them to be honest, fair and reasonable. Employees are courteous and polite and know me when I walk in the door. I also like that they're BBB-accredited, offer Triple A discounts and provide a free shuttle home if you need to leave your car (plus they have free sodas in the lobby). I 100% recommend them and wouldn't take my car anyplace else.

This was my first repairs and service at this shop. It is well organized with all the diagnostic equipment, tools and ASE mechanics to use them. And they use them well, fast and thoroughly. Ernest and Mr Mathews at the front counter were very through and explained the repairs needed on my truck. The estimate listed parts on one side and labor on the other. The final total was actually a bit less than first written. I'm definitely going back there to get my Toyota serviced. Great shop and very near by to Southwest Houston as well as Sugarland ,Stafford and Missouri city. I met several customers there that had been using this shop for many years. That's a bonafide of the best type!

Problems with my car alignment needed correction. The alignment specialist quickly identified the repair needed and quickly aligned my car while I waited. The price was reasonable.

I tried getting the work done at another automotive business in Sugar Land and they said it wasn’t fixable. You guys had it done within a couple of days, for a reasonable price considering the age of the automobile, and also gave us a 2 year warranty. Thanks for being so good! Ken Webb

I've been a customer with Colony One for 10+ years. My entire family and neighbors have been personally ushered to the establishment by me. The people are warm/inviting and I've met , and had long discussion with new ownership. It saddens me, but I'm moving on from doing further business. Frustrating is the latest work on my wife's car. After $2000 of recent work discovered is a loose spark plug after 2 days of service and after 2 weeks from flushing the transmission, there is an issue with it. I don't know what's going on at the facility. Now this could be tied to one day of lack of attention to detail and a transmission that would have exhibited issues even if not following recommended services which included a transmission flush. But there have been other small incidents outside of this one that has come to break my confidence as a customer. I wish Colony One well. It will be difficult to separate, but it's necessary at this point. All the best...

I had my car towed to Colony 1 Auto Center for a diagnostic because I believed my engine valve covers needed to be replaced. After paying for the diagnostic and the tow, I was given a single sheet of paper that mentioned a water pump and stated, in quotes, that there “may be some internal damage.” There was no clear explanation, no confirmed diagnosis, and no direction on next steps. I wasn’t told what the actual issue was, what needed to be repaired, or whether the car was safe to drive. Essentially, I left with the same level of uncertainty I arrived with—just out the cost of a tow and a diagnostic fee. If you’re expecting clear communication, detailed findings, or guidance on how to proceed after a diagnostic, that was not my experience. Unfortunately, I left without answers or resolution. Follow Up: I’m writing this follow-up to document what I consider extremely petty and unprofessional behavior from Colony One Auto. After my initial one-star review—left because I paid for a diagnostic test that provided no clear findings, no direction, and no resolution—I specifically asked that this visit not be reported to Carfax, since the paperwork itself stated only “may have internal damage” with no confirmed diagnosis, no repair recommendation, and no actionable information. Shortly after leaving that review, Colony One Auto paid to report the visit to Carfax anyway, resulting in vague and damaging notes like no start / hard start / possible internal damage being added to my vehicle history—despite the fact that they never confirmed or fixed anything. That timing does not feel coincidental. It feels retaliatory. Reporting unverified, speculative information to Carfax after a negative review—especially when a customer explicitly requested otherwise—is not good business practice. It’s petty, and it’s harmful to customers who trusted you with their vehicle. I stand by my original review and will continue to warn others. Transparency, professionalism, and customer care matter—and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

I recently brought my car in because of an oil leak and a concern that my AC wasn’t cooling properly. The staff took the time to clearly explain the issue with the oil leak in a way that even someone who never opens the hood (like me!) could easily understand. They were also completely honest in letting me know that there was nothing wrong with my AC after all. Their professionalism, transparency, and patience truly put me at ease and made me feel confident that my car was in good hands. The bonus? They gave me a ride to work and picked me up when everything was done! Their communication throughout the entire process was just as impressive. Thank you, Colony One Auto Center, for the excellent service and genuine care!

I took my car here as a second opinion from another mechanic. They fixed it faster and for $500 cheaper. They also told me 2 of the things the first mechanic said needed to be fixed were in working order and there was no need to do anything for either. It did take a day longer than originally planned but other than that, very pleased! I’ll definitely be going back!

I always have a great experience here, as long as I make sure to be one of the 1st ones there the wait isn't crazy. They also make sure to consult with you before doing any additional work not originally requested. I will say they are a little pricier than what I am used to but nothing crazy, I also was in a smaller town before so that could be it. Super close to my home, the staff is super nice.

I had a very good experience at Colony One Auto. The service was fast, professional, and the team was easy to work with. Based on the quality of service alone, I would absolutely come back and recommend them. The only reason this isn’t a 5-star review is related to emissions readiness. I specifically asked whether the vehicle needed to be driven to ensure all systems were ready for the emissions inspection and was told it was good to go. Unfortunately, that turned out to be inaccurate, and several systems were not ready, meaning I now have to complete a full drive cycle (or two) and return to the state inspection station. That said, overall service was solid, and I would still return . I just wanted to share this feedback so the team can tighten up communication around emissions readiness

Staff Kirk is very nice. Earnst is my technician. He is very nice as well. But they failed to diagnose my car's problem. The second time visit, my car was left in your parking lot. When I got there, the car battery drained completely. But I was told it is ready for me. If not another man was there to help jump my car, I will be stuck there.

Colony One Auto repaired an oil leak located on the backside of the oil filter housing on my 4.7 L V8, and installed upper control arms. They also installed a new center support bearing and tie rod links. Chris also provided estimates for timing belt and radiator replacement I plan to complete in 2026. Return for Front end alignment was done also after I replaced two Front tires. The quality of the work was excellent and the price was reasonable for the services performed.
