My iPhone 6 recently went dead, and unfortunately I had not taken a backup for several months. I called both Apple and my provider (Verizon) and was told by both that the phone was no good. In fact, Apple told me that most iPhone 6's are now nearing their end of life-span and many are now experiencing mother board issues. Nevertheless, I called Steve at CPR to see if there was anyway he could retrieve the data off the phone. He said he would give it his best shot. After a day, I received a call from Steve saying my phone was all set. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. According to Steve my phone had entered what he called a "power lock" state.....that it essentially had gone into a self-induced hibernation, where none of the phone's buttons would respond. Steve took the phone a part, released the lock, and essentially jump started the phone. Everything is now back to normal and working fine. Steve's expertise and knowledge was unsurpassed and I highly recommend him for your phone and computer diagnostic / repair needs. He's the BEST !!!!

Q is for Me.
I had a gaming PC that was a bit esoteric because I was charmed with a weird case. Well in year three the motherboard kicked the bucket, stopped turning on, so on impulse instead of slamming my head into it over and over I decided to take it to CPR which is just down the street from me. I'm glad I did since the problem was elusive and I would have been staggeringly frustrated in my efforts to track it down. I offloaded that concern onto Steve and he was able to hammer out a solution in good time. I was able to keep contact with him and he answered my questions as well as didn't mind that I asked him for updates now and again.
It ended up being a relatively painless experience for me since Steve had to deal with the headaches of dealing with a proprietary system and try to dig up old parts. But I got my machine back with all the gear I wanted transferred into a new case and it was like it never left. Very happy with the service I was given.

Highly recommend this place! Bought a computer off of Steve to use for school, was told right then that if it had any hardware issues to bring it back and he would look at it free of charge. A week into the purchase it started acting up a bit so I contacted Steve multiple times asking for assistance and he was very helpful and responsive! I brought it back to have him look at it to see what the issue was, didn't take long for him to get back to me and have it fixed! I cannot thank you enough, Steve!

I brought my computer into CPR computers because it would not boot and only went to a blue screen. I had none of my files backed up. CPR was able to retrieve all of my files, replace the hard drive and reload everything back to my computer. I am happy to say that when I went home and logged in everything was back as if nothing was ever wrong. They also had great customer service and were very helpful advising me of all possible options. As a bonus they also have a very sweet pup that greets you when you go in named Macintosh. I had a great experience. If you have a commuter with issues I would definitely recommend bringing it in to CPR Computers before going out to buy a new one. Mine is working great.
