Nell's comments before mine are essentially my experience as well. I called several shops around me and they either (1) didn't answer, (2) clearly had no interest being on the phone, (3) were simply unable to render the service I needed. I was hesitant to contact Curtis since my location is quite a ways away from Point Loma, but he nonetheless made his way out, did everything to get me back up and running, and gave me several pointers going forward. Highly recommended!

This guy knows his stuff! It's hard to find someone to trust in the auto repair business, but Curtis is so transparent with what is ACTUALLY going on with your car and how much things cost. Do yourself a favor and give him a call before getting gouged at a shop.

I called Curtis for a problem on my van. He came on time and, although the problem had mysteriously resolved itself when he arrived, he took the time to teach me how to diagnose and fix the problem on my own should it ever arise again, even going so far as to send me a detailed walkthrough and show me step-by-step how to access and replace any parts that might cause the problem. He is amazing and I can highly recommend him for any mobile help you might need!

This was one of the most horrible experiences I've ever had with a company. Curtis was incredibly rude for no apparent reason. I simply asked him if he could jump start my battery, a service he advertises. He told me to go ahead and try a tow truck company as they may be less expensive. I called the one he referred me to. They were not less expensive so I thought I would call him back and ask him to come out. When I did with a very sarcastic tone he said," I told you my price, I didn't tell you that I was available" and hung up I was flabbergasted. I would highly suggest to call someone else. A very wonderful tow truck company by the name of Apex came out within minutes and for a much lesser price.

First and foremost: IF YOU HAVE CAR PROBLEMS, USE THIS MAN. I rarely review businesses, but this one deserves it. Honest and exceptional auto repair is almost impossible to find these days and as the owner of a later model car, the search for someone like Curtis is often disappointing. But he is one-of-a-kind. He has continually gone out of his way to ensure extraordinary service in a timely manner and offers fair pricing. I wish I could give 6 stars.

Curtis saved the day. I let my rear brake pads wear down all the way (oops). I’m 8 hours from home on the first day of vacation. I was upset that I’d have to waste a day finding a mechanic (maybe sit there for hours or have to get a rental). Instead he came to me, and he came that day. He arrived when he said he would. The work took the time he said it would take and he charged a fair price. I swam in the resort pool while he did the work. Nice and knowledgeable guy. Highly recommend!!

Curtis came out this morning to diagnose a dead battery/fuse issue. He was on time and very professional. He took the time to figure out why the car wasn't starting, was able to fix the problem on site. Then when I mentioned I was low on gas could he follow me around the corner to to the gas station to make sure when I turned it off that it still restarted, he did! Curtis is fantastic! He took the time to listen to me explain the problems I was experiencing, was polite and on time, answered my questions while he was working (I know that can be annoying which is why appreciate that he was willing to help me learn more about my vehicle), and he was honest. Due to inclement weather in SD the last couple days he was able to meet up with my son to assess the issues and troubleshoot thoroughly before replacing parts.
