Owner is not very nice took my car in with gas tank problem after spending $700 my car with same problem and check engine light on now I have to take to other mechanic because I do not trust this mechanic integrity .

Be careful with this owner, he's very shady. I repeat do not buy anything from him. I had to report the owner to DMV because of fraud and identity theft.

I had a vehicle I was trying to sell he told me he was interested in it (Dave)and wanted to keep it to test drive it. Long story short he kept my car for one week and then told me he didn't want it. This guy is shady don't trust him.

My radiator leaked, they got 1in. Two weeks later it sprung a leak? I got in and in 2.5 hours later they replaced the "old new one" no charge, no waiting. The owners a very funny, likable guy who will help you.

I was in a pinch because my company car's gas tank wouldn't open and this place was highly recommended by a friend. I drove in and the owner was friendly and helpful even though I hadn't even called in advance! He got me right back on the road. I'm extremely grateful for his courteous emergency help!

Dave has always done excellant repair work on my family car. He came highly recommended from a church member. If I have a problem, he will make it right. I passed his name on to my mother in law, she had some repair work done. Dave did it quickly and did not charge a ton. My wife feels comfortable taking the car to get rrepaired and knows she will not get ripped off. A really great guy and a great place.

12 years ago I was new to the area and in need of a good mechanic. After trying different shops I found DC Auto repair and will never leave. Great service, fair and cooperative on price, and honest professionals through out the shop. The owner Dave is jewel of a find. I'm very happy.

The staff there is nice and honest but the boss is not so. I went to the store for an oil change and just simply replaced a universal engine oil drain plug. I waited for an hour because they had to order the part for somewhere else and the delivery guy delivered the wrong part 2 times in a row. I patiently waited and finally when everything was done and I went in to ask the price. The boss was rude and he was throwing random prices at me. First he said $200 and I thought he was joking. At last he agreed on $80 which was still a rip off for just and oil change and replacing a nut which takes 30 seconds. Then when I asked to pay with debit card, he lied about not having a pos machine. Finally when I showed him my wallet that I didn't carry cash , he pulled out a machine from nowhere and didn't gave me an itemized receipt. I don't know what's going on with all the good review, I guess you guys know the owner for a long time or something. But for a first time customer, Dont come here !
