Needed an alternator replaced moved to West Point last year and not familiar with any mechanic shops out here.. I posted that I’m looking for mechanic and Darrell reached out was able to ask few questions to make sure that’s what was wrong with vehicle he was able to quote and come over and fix!! This dudes a crook.I contracted him to fix my elderly mothers vehicle due to a transmission failure.I purchased the part from a local car parts distributor with the average 30 day warranty.He takes longer than 30 days to install the transmission.Claims the part is faulty and needs a new part or is willing to rebuild for an additional cost.3k in the hole and he now wants an additional 1300 before it’s done.Fast forward 6 months and law enforcement is contacted to retrieve the vehicle because there is no updates and the vehicle still isn’t finished.After the retrieval he leaves thing’s disconnected and this is the mess he deliberately rigged for retaliation.Customers beware.I wouldn’t trust this guy with an oil change because I don’t think he’s competent to finish that either

D.C Mobile Repair. Definitely my go to!!! Darrell Cowlishaw is awesome I needed a thermostat done in my car and he was quick efficient and took care of my car and had me back on the road. He came highly recommended to me and now I will do the same to others about him. He did such a great job he will be working and giving my Cadillac a transmission flush routine maintenance. Very much appreciate Darrell his service and friendship. Posted a couple photos but he sent me start to finish photos and understanding to all be had to do from start to end. I cannot recommend this company at all. Darrell scammed me out of $3,785 while promising to replace the transmission on my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500. He initially quoted $2,185 for the job and asked for a $1,600 down payment, which I provided on October 6th. He assured me the work would be completed in a week, which was crucial for my lawn and landscape business. However, after multiple delays and excuses over a month, I found out that Darrell hadn’t done a single thing to my truck. He consistently pushed back deadlines and failed to communicate effectively. When I finally had the vehicle towed to my trusted mechanic on November 21st, I discovered that Darrell had cut the fuel pump fuse to falsely claim it was broken, in an attempt to scam me out of even more money. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and costly. I’ve been without a fleet truck for over a month due to his dishonesty. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Darrell—find a different mechanic. **Update** It's been months since this has happened, and Darrell still harasses me at least once a month via text, and says he's going to come to my house if I don't delete the review, just because he scammed me out of $3,785. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Darrell was hands down the best mechanic I’ve ever come into contact with! He was very professional. He was super respectful and patient with me as I was trying explain what was going on with my car. I love the fact that he would explain things to me every step of the way from what he was looking at to what he saw. He would even have me look at it to see for myself what he was talking about! Darrel came out and diagnosed a loud noise I had in my engine. He explained to me what it was and why the issue occured. He recommended a used engine that would be the most cost effective. I ordered the engine and he came on the day we agreed and got it done within 2 days. What amazes me it was done in my driveway. He was extremely clean and disposed of the new engine after he was done. He took the car on a drive and made sure they were no issues. He is truly a lifesaver. Other places quoted me almost double what he quoted. I'd use him again in a heartbeat. He is extremely professional and honest about what's going on. This company is amazing. Honest and straight to the point. I needed help with my 2016 Silverado. I wanted to delete the AFM system. I contacted Dc mobile and they gave me a call back almost instantly. Told me the parts I needed and got it taken care of in a very quick timeframe. He also turned my truck and it's ran better than when I first got it! Idles smooth and gets great gas mileage. If you need your AFM deleted. This is the place. Thank you again Darrell.
