Bruce did a great job repairing my transmission and did so in only 4 days! My 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee was off warranty and I struggled with bringing it back to the dealer or using a local shop. Bruce is the guy you want to repair your transmission. He’s got that experience an aptitude that makes him above the average mechanic. Did my 2017 Honda accord touring rebuilt the trany runs fine no issues. at a very fair price an Warranty’s his work that’s what closed the deal. CHEERS!

I’m not really a review guy, but I would be remiss if I didn’t take the time to write this review to say thank you to Precision Transmission and the owner, Mr. Bruce, for the phenomenal job he did on my Camero. My car had a defective heating system. I spent months trying to find an affordable and honest mechanic in NY and never did. I expressed my frustration to a friend from CT who recommended Precision Transmission to me. I contacted Mr. Bruce and he was able to start working on my car immediately. Mr. Bruce is very informative and detailed, and my car was fixed within a week at a reasonable price. My heat has been working like brand new, and I would recommend Precision Transmission to anyone.

Danbury Precision Transmission, like everyone, is painfully aware that prices are up over the past few years. This repair and maintenance shop keeps down prices for its customers and, importantly, provides honest, professional and expert service. Their mechanics repaired a transmission leak in my car and two weeks later repaired a separate fluid leak from a worn gasket on the timing belt. The result: no drips or leaks. Work was performed for a fair price. Please give this garage an opportunity to quote the repair to your car or truck.

I traveled from South Jersey to get the catalytic converters replaced in my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee after spending over $2,000 at a local national chain mechanic shop. The local mechanic shop replaced the converters but the issue persisted. The engine light kept coming on and after numerous attempts at resetting the code to see if the engine lights would stop coming on, no luck and my car still could not pass the emissions test at the DMV. I took my car back to that mechanic shop and they wanted to charge me another $2,000 to get another set of converters and to install them.i didnt think that was fair because 1), they should have fixed it, and 2), i don't have that excess funds to throw away Anyway, My car needed to pass inspection and i lost confidence in the repair shop. My sister told me about her experience at Danbury Precision, I was reluctant because of the distance but i must say it was well worth it. Richard, the owner is very professional and experienced. He explains the issue and why the new install may not have worked, ordered the parts, repaired the catalytic converters, had the job finished when he said that it would be, and to top it off, his prices were reasonable. I have no complaints like i did at the national chain. I'll be taking my car there for future repairs. It was well worth the distance and financial savings, plus my car finally passed the NJ DMV inspection. Yeaaaa! Thanks Richard for a car service repair job well done!

Hello my name is Bob, I own an older Toyota Avalon with very high mileage. I recently had a transmission issue and Precision Transmission was recommended to me. I met with the owner Bruce. He was so nice, very knowledgeable and very courteous. We discussed several options and I decided to have him rebuilt the transmission. His team did a great job. The transmission shifts like it was new. While in the shop, Bruce did notice that my radiator had a small leak. I had him repair it it while the car was there. Richard (Bruce, some call him, but its his last name) have worked on my car before he opened Danbury Precision Transmission. When transmission on my Lexus ES300 went down, I knew exactly who could fix it, and he did it again by tuning it up to a factory standard! He also offered improvements for extending it's life, and warranty I'm now considering while test driving my baby. It shifts as it should, smooth and silky, as it just rolled off the production line. The shop also does other type of auto repairs, and without a doubt as precise as they do transmissions.
