A better option than the big name franchises. They can get backed up (the word is apparently out) but it's prob gonna be cheaper than others. George runs a good shop and was honest, and $400 less than the competition on a sensor issue I had.

Very unprofessional and disconcerting experience. Came in on 8/14/18 for a vehicle inspection (VA requires a VA inspection to drive for rideshare company, even with a valid DC/MD inspection). The service man said he would have to REMOVE my DC registration sticker to put the VA inspection sticker on, thereby DESTROYING the reg. sticker (they're designed to be nontransferable). I told him "Hell no, put the VA sticker next to the DC one". He said that (a) legally he couldn't, an absolute lie, and (b) he'd done this sticker removal and replacement dozens of times before, something that, even if true which I highly doubt, would be very, very illegal, as any sign of tampering to the sticker would get ME in trouble. I told him to show me the law which said he could not put the VA sticker next to the DC one. He became irate and rather insulting, saying that of course he knows the law because it is his job. As I would learn later, 19VAC-50-30-70 clearly states the VA sticker may be placed "as close as practical to the right of" an existing DC or other state sticker, contrary to this fool's "of course I know". The fact that he even offered to attempt to replace the DC registration sticker told me I should go far, far away. I eventually went to another nearby inspection station, where I had a much more professional experience and ZERO problem with sticker placement. Avoid this place at all costs!

I think I have found my new go-to place for car care and inspections. Went there recently and got an inspection. The mechanic came and got me to show me some wear on my rear brakes. He told me I was still ok but just to be aware of it in the future. Everyone I had contact with that worked there was courteous and friendly. Great place!

I had a terrible experience at this inspection center. The staff were rude and unprofessional. They took forever to inspect my car and didn't even do a thorough job. I felt like they were just trying to rush me out the door. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

I got my 2005 civic fixed here and Adam saved me an unnecessary emissions test and wiggled a wire for me to repair the brake light issue . Saved me 5 hours of time understanding and finding what it was and having to come back as well as a day off work. I'm never getting my car inspected or repaired in DC ( other than tires ) anywhere else. I HIGHLY recommend as someone who drives older cars and used to be a mechanic.

The manager was about fight me because I went back to tell him that the work he has done on my car was wrong and making noise. But he told me that he was not responsible and was about call his team to beat me but I was fast enough to leave. I call on 911 on but he said does not care about 911 neither. Don’t go there.

They put new brake pads and rotors on my 2019 highlighter about 3 weeks ago but I am not happy with brakes. They make noises. I went to this shop three times and requested to fix this issue but they refused and said that they are not responsible for brake noises. How can you are not responsible for a work that you have done? I bought the parts from Toyota dealership genuine parts. They said why did you not change the brake at Toyota dealership and why did you come to us. Stupid question. They are unprofessionals and lairs about the price as well. Not recommending anyone to fix your car at Dawson’s auto care falls church.

Their service is horrible and the manager is rude. I went to put genuine brake pads and rotors that I bought from Toyota dealer. The manager told me that they are going to change them for me. They put new brakes and they were making noise. I told them but they said it was new and will get better as the time goes but it didn’t. I went back to them but the guy who worked on my car told me to drive for a week if it is still making noise, bring it back. After a week it was still making noise and I went back. The manger, the guy on desk, and the technician started yelling and were about to fight and told me why didn’t you fixe your car at dealership. His point was that their service is not perfect and anything can happen. I don’t recommend this place for your car service.

They charged my mom 70 dollars to “clean the headlight” 14 days later they were dirty again. They said they couldn’t release the car for inspection for dirty headlights. They will scam you. I would give a zero but I can’t. They saw an older quiet Hispanic woman and took advantage. These people have scammed others no doubt.
